My experience with this company was incredibly bizarre and frustrating due to a total lack of organizational trust, substandard working conditions, and absent leadership. Despite demanding an on-site IT presence, the company provides zero backstock or basic equipment; I was forced to use an antiquated 15-year-old monitor balanced on top of an empty router box inside a cramped, obstructed, sub-200-square-foot room with a highly disruptive coworker. Compounding this, leadership has entirely tied the hands of the IT department out of paranoia over past employees. Routine technical tasks that should take minutes now require layers of executive approval and can take weeks to resolve. Meanwhile, domestic IT staff are denied the basic administrative access required to manage the network safely, even though broad VPN access is granted to unsecured overseas contractors over a network built heavily on freeware and open-source tools. Management presence is strictly performative; the manager openly stated during hiring that he would just be happy if someone stayed three months, spent his time on his own outside businesses, and remained entirely unresponsive to direct messages. To top it off, there is a severe disparity in compensation; while headhunters and site managers get full benefits and PTO, IT is left with a strict hourly rate and virtually nonexistent health coverage. I didnt want to write a review but this actually bothered me. I hope somebody could explain it to me. Last week i did my drivers test. Im not a morning person but my test taker (Zach) wasnt either. There was no connection and no conversation (helps a lot when you are about to your drivers test). But thats not biggest my question-mark of this experience. I will happily admit that i made a mistake and that i failed because of it. And maybe there is a chance to make it up while you drive, you never know. I drove 24mph in a school zone instead of 20mph. I'd take that mistake and learn from it. But this happened in the first 2 minutes of my test. Why did i still have to drive for 15-20 minuted after that without having a chance to prove myself as a safe driver? The Law says you automatically fail if you make that mistake. Why have me continue driving?!?! Im a 25 year old international student who has been driving since 16. I understand you cant let me pass, but tell me in the moment so i dont have to sit in the car for another 15-20 minutes without having anything to prove or win from it. I would not recommend going to this location . Driving instructors are not on the same page on their grading system for the driving test. I honestly think if you haven't done the whole driving course with them they will intentionally fail you so you keep paying for the re- test. They failed my son for the most ridiculous things . I can not express my gratitude for Ms.Colleen at this southeast Aurora Location as she quite honestly saved my life and went above and beyond for me to secure me a SAME DAY driving test. I capitalized same day because it is remarkable, impressive, and absolutely rare that you are able to ever get a same day appointment. After taking a visit to the DMV and realizing that my last drivers test had expired and I would need to take another in person test with a driver in order to upgrade my permit to a license, I was utterly panicked. I expressed to Colleen the urgency of my situation because I had a flight leaving to North Carolina for work later in the evening and desperately needed proof of my license for an upcoming court date pertaining to a location. Colleen was patient, understanding, and actionable; nevertheless, she listened to my story and spoke to me in a way that really felt like she cared and wanted to help me. She had a way of reassuring me and making me feel like I was a priority to her and proceeded to look up all other drive safe locations in the area to see if she could muster up any availability to squeeze me in for a drive test. In fact, she even called in a favor to her fellow coworker at the Greenwood Village location. Colleen exhausted all of her resources to help me- a stranger- and was a key factor in why I now boast a license today. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Colleen! It was so refreshing to be treated like I was important, like I mattered, and like my needs were heard when a lot of the other driving companies and services tend to be abrupt and non-personal. I would highly recommend this location for all of your driving needs because they offer something no other driving resource or DMV has- quality customer service and genuine associates. read more

I am so happy that I decided to go this route for my sons driving education! All of the driving instructors were patient and awesome! Starting from the very beginning the 30 hours of instruction in the classroom Really help to prepare my son to take his permit test. He passed with flying colors. Then when we moved onto the actual driving instruction he would always report back to me how much he learned and that he truly enjoyed his lesson. Because of COVID closures we ended up having to rush some of our drives and go to Greenwood Village to complete one of them. It was not super convenient however it was nice to have options! I want to personally thank Manager Mary Mavis For calming me down when I was stressed out trying to schedule my son's last two drives. And for Colleen at the SE Aurora location For jumping through hoops to help me get my son's driving test scheduled before school started! Another thank you to Dilbert for your kindness shown to Trevor yesterday during his drive with you. And for you taking time out of your already full schedule to fit his test in!!! And lastly Sam at Greenwood Village for taking Trevor down Colfax and on the highway and through roundabouts. He said his drive with you gave him the confidence he needed to move forward! First of all, it wasn't my initial intention to leave a 1-star review for this Aurora branch of Drive Safe, but the Management refused to return my 2 messages asking for assistance. We paid for our daughter to have 3 driving lessons. The first and the second were conducted by two very professional and helpful instructors. The third and final lesson was on December 30th, 2019, between 4:30pm and 6:30pm. The instructor's name was Matt. For the third and final lesson, he spent over 30 minutes talking in the vehicle before even having my daughter to actually drive. While lesson was supposed to end at 6:30pm, he had my daughter returned to the office at 6:12pm. To do what? To criticize and to berate the one thing, how my daughter handled the steering wheel. Well, isn't that why we paid him for those two hours to teach her? If it bothered him so much, why didn't he use the approx. 20 minutes at the end of the lesson to fix the issue with her hand-positions-during-turns instead of berating her and then he "suggested" additional lessons... See an ethical problem here, folks? This punk Matt should be fired. By the way, the time stamp of everything I just mentioned above was recorded my vehicle's dash-cam. Also, my daughter did NOT sign any final statement or survey at the end of the lesson. If this guy Matt submitted anything, it was fabricated. Due to the pandemic which has caused delay, I am having my attorney sue this establishment who emotionally abused a minor among other things. read more

I reached out to Drive Safe nearly three years ago to take a private drivers licensing test. I paid the company $60 plus and the failed me, kept my money and I left with not even a receipt. I failed the exam because while driving through a school zone I began to accelerate once I was less than 60 feet away from the end of school zone sign. My speed increased by 2-3 miles. No matter how well I did on the rest of the exam, this automatically failed me. I am writing this review because the same thing happened to my brother, three years later. He had a perfect exam, they brought him to their "trap", failed him and took his money. Of course, not without an invitation to pay more and test again. I think it is important for everyone to know how systemic their scheme is. The DMV does not test in this way. Their are no systemic and deliberate attempts to prompt an automatic fail. This is a scheme. If you so choose to give this shady agency your money. Don't fall for their school zone trap. Do not change your speed until the end sign is at least several feet behind you. Steals your money. Drivesafe will charge accounts without approval. This location stated they were refunding charges for tests that were not valid, then refused the refund. They do not answer the phones, respond to emails, and give you a different person and reason every time you call and do get a person. Drivesafe has horrible business practices and takes advantage of young adults and the low availability of driving schools in the area. read more

I went through Drive Safe at Smoky Hill for 3 2 hour one on one drives (a total of 6 hours) and my driving test. I thought the communication was poor. I received a rude voicemail saying my drive for the next day needed to be moved to an hour later and they contacted me a week prior and left a voicemail and I never replied so they assumed that was okay that they moved it- I never received a voicemail or even a missed call on either contact I gave them. For my final drive I received 28 text messages asking me to confirm my drive and test (I did the first time). After about 10 texts I called and they did say I was all set for my next drive and my test and I still got texts. One of my instructors used his phone several times while I was driving, which I thought was unprofessional and unsafe. Another one of my instructors kept spitting out of the car. They were both very polite and I was comfortable with them but they did have drawbacks. This last experience almost made me give 1 star but I couldn't do they on my first review. I just received my email that has my completion certificate a few weeks later. I went to print this out for my insurance and it printed out like 56 pages most of them were blank but I got 3 other certificates for other students which included their name, permit number, birthday, and what they passed. I feel this is a real violation of privacy. I did shred the papers and deleted the email. I feel like I need to say I did pass my test with no problem and this is not an email of rage because I didn't pass or something. read more

Not impressed. In the driving "classes" the teacher said they were basically there to "fill up" the required class time. Kids were drawing pictures and other useless busy work, instead of learning valuable information about safe driving. Drivesafe advertises "2 hour behind the wheel" drives, but the instructors take 10-15 minutes of that time for paperwork and other administrative protocol which should NOT be included in the "behind the wheel" time. Saying the student will receive 2 full hours of "behind the wheel" is false advertising. If it's not 120 minutes, then say so! This time adds up when you consider that out of five 2-hr behind the wheel sessions, the student ends up with not 10 hours, but 8.5 or 9 hours instead. That's one paid hour GONE. And when you consider what they charge for that hour that they "take away", it's a pretty penny out of the customer's pocket. I will say that the driving instructors themselves seemed to do an okay job. Not a whole lot of instruction, but our son reported that they were pretty relaxed. We were told they had a money back guarantee for any remaining lessons when we signed up. They said that if a customer wasn't satisfied or moved away or something prior to finishing out the lessons, they would refund the unused portion. But when we decided to cash out on the rest of this joke of a program, we were given the run around and then a huge hassle. Deborah at the Tech Center said she had NEVER made this verbal promise to us and refused to give us the refund. After speaking with someone higher up in the chain of command (which seems to be the standard mode of operations with this company) she called us back and said that her supervisor would authorize a credit for the rest of our purchase. Bottom line, we were very disappointed with not only the program itself, but the people running it and would not recommend it. If you're a decent driver, you can teach your own kid to drive far better than this company. Save your money. UPDATE: Since writing this review, I have seen TWO car accidents on the road in my area involving Drivesafe vehicles. Hmmm. I have been very disappointed by the service here! Look elsewhere if you are wanting an inclusive safe space for your child. After numerous attempts to correct issues I've reached an impasse. Not Trans friendly or LGBT accommodating. Despite many attempts to have them use my son's correct name in classes they still can't get it right! As a trans parent I cannot express how frustrating this has been for us! It's not really a hard thing to simply use a correct name. We aren't asking for much! read more

The people at the Aurora office are very nice. The issue is that Drive Safe is WAY overbooked and the system is complete chaos. I booked a defensive driving course for my child and the wait time is FIVE months. When I called Master Drive, the wait time was only three weeks. I booked Master Drive and I then called Drive Safe for a refund (on both my child's defensive driving course and license test). I was told the license test was non-refundable and the defensive driving test could only be refunded subject to a $50 administrative fee. Over $100 I'm losing because they are so back-logged that they can't provide advertised services in a timely fashion. To make matters worse, the Drive Safe agent on the phone was extremely adversarial. With my other child, there was constant chaos with Drive Safe inputting class attendance incorrectly. Yes, Master Drive costs a little more. You get what you pay for! Don't go with Drive Safe. read more

Do not go to this place! They conduct there business purely with profit and money making in mind. You will end up investing substantial amount of time and money and they will make sure you do. You will be suggested for some initial lessons and then failed in multiple tests. Then will be suggested for more exhaustive lesson. I am feeling CHEATED. its a ripoff and once you get there you are stuck with them. The front desk will stop showing courtesy once you ask questions or start doubting. Let me start this by saying this review is for the smoky hill location only!!! My son has taken his driver education there. With him being almost 16 I told him he needed to schedule his on drives. He did but the only problem was he called the highlands ranch location (didn't know until I got to the drive appointment this morning). Now this is where my problem starts. As the receptionist looked for my sons name she informed him that his drive was scheduled in highlands ranch and that we would have to pay the fee for canceling today's drive! Now I can see that since he made it at the wrong place but on the other hand when I was speaking to Lisa she would not speak to me or look at me. She kept speaking to my son who is yes the CHILD he also did not pay for the class or even have to pay for the cancellation fee!! So at that point his part is over!! She was so incredibly rude. After a few not so nice words I got in the car and called another drive safe. I got Erin and let me just say she was so nice and help full. Informed me that I would not have to pay for the cancellation since it was a mistake. She got my son scheduled for a drive today and scheduled his other two appointments and made sure they were at the right location!! read more
