I asked for a refund and a manager came out also not deescalating and made it very difficult to receive my refund. Marcos Castillo should have his instructing permit removed. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and the state of Colorado. DO NOT GO HERE!! If I could give zero stars, I would!

I didnt want to write a review but this actually bothered me. I hope somebody could explain it to…read moreme. Last week i did my drivers test. Im not a morning person but my test taker (Zach) wasnt either. There was no connection and no conversation (helps a lot when you are about to your drivers test). But thats not biggest my question-mark of this experience. I will happily admit that i made a mistake and that i failed because of it. And maybe there is a chance to make it up while you drive, you never know. I drove 24mph in a school zone instead of 20mph. I'd take that mistake and learn from it. But this happened in the first 2 minutes of my test. Why did i still have to drive for 15-20 minuted after that without having a chance to prove myself as a safe driver? The Law says you automatically fail if you make that mistake. Why have me continue driving?!?! Im a 25 year old international student who has been driving since 16. I understand you cant let me pass, but tell me in the moment so i dont have to sit in the car for another 15-20 minutes without having anything to prove or win from it. IM THERE TO TRY TO PASS MY TEST, IF I DONT, I NOT TRYING TO PROVE MYSELF FOR NOTHING. Read the room thank you

I remember driving my past lover here for his license and seeing how appreciable the older gentleman in the office truly is. Instead of dealing with a headache full of DMV robots, you pay for your convenience! A mere fee of $80 (which my ex had only $60) and the older gentleman pardoned it and allowed him to take his test. What do you know next? He passed! Months later in August, my mother and I inquired our time here, and I loved the process of seeing the new technique of having an easy going instructor and the test was very easy. It was easy because the older gentleman was very kind, generous, and I wished to know of his name. He made the test seem NOT scary. I actually did fine. The instructor gives 100% clear directions 100% of the time. I was driving around the neighborhood, and the test was a breeze. And what do you know? I finished! Next is a breeze: you receive your stub with your info and go to the Tri-Country Building and have your photo taken there. They mail your new License in the mail, and you're finished!!! We had 2 hours of class room…read moreteaching, which was eye opening and then 2 hours of hands on driving, where we gained confidence in getting the car out of front wheel skids (understeer), rear wheel skid (oversteer) and all wheel skids in various situations. Highly recommended, great hands on teacher who does not mince words if and when you screw up and explains to you what happened and why you skidded out of control. We feel a little safer now and this was important for our kids to learn too.

The first part of the class involved watching informational slides as he talked and some videos of scary accidents. The actual driving portion was super fun! You get to practice how to handle different types of skidding, and Michal would give you notes on what went wrong and how to correctly navigate. She came back from her instruction time feeling more confident and self-assured. It was worth every penny. Some of their instructors can be a little harsher than others but some people do better with those types of instructors. Just let your point person know what type of instructor your child learns best with and they will try to match you up. About a year after my daughter had taken her courses we moved to California. California was going to require my daughter to take Drivers ed all over again and wait 6 months before she could get her license (she had not taken the test yet in Co). Next, I called the phone number listed on the website to get a price quote for driving lessons. Someone answered by saying "hello". The last time I checked this was supposed to be a business. Professionalism would be appreciated, so how about answering the phones in a professional manner, like including the name of your business when you answer so it doesn't sound like I am calling your house. Here's a better way to answer, "Hello and thank you for calling IOM Driving Academy. How can I help you?" I asked the person on the other end how much driving lessons were. She mumbled a number.
