Have worked with this company for 5 years. Two kids went through with no problems, this year (2025) is very different. Staff is rude and they treat customers poorly. Lack of staff and no appointments available. It takes months to schedule drives therefore delaying getting drivers license by months. Have done nothing to remedy problem and a say there is nothing they can do about it. Beyond frustrating. Won't last long treating customers this way. read more

The owner is wonderful to work with and all of the instructors, especially Gary, have been fabulous. They do a great job of holding the youth accountable and teaching them to be responsible while treating them with respect. It was easy to register for the initial driving class as well as the required supervised drive time . The pricing was competitive and reasonable. They have contributed to helping my son to be a capable, competent and confident driver. Awful service. The woman whom "owns" it is more than rude to say the least. My husband called and scheduled his class without prepayment, I then called and was told by the owner , made that clear , that she just changed the rule and I had to prepay . Go anywhere else We scheduled a driving test appointment about a month in advance. We were running a little late so we tried calling and no one answered. We pull up 7 minutes late, and a very rude woman came out and told our young driver that she couldn't take her test today because the one person who could do her test was going to be doing a class. We tried explaining and she very rudely told us it was our problem and we would have to reschedule. We went elsewhere and she took her less than 20 minute test without all the attitude we received here. Customer service has taken a steep nose dive here from the time I took a test here. I will never recommend them to anyone again thanks to this terrible experience. read more

After one driving lesson they said my son would probably pass his test (really, he's never driven before!). Then they said they couldn't book another driving lesson for over a month! They don't teacher parallel parking because there are so many carparks lol. Office staff aren't very friendly. We ended up going to Drive safe on Highlands Ranch, heaps of driving lessons appointments. Friendly staff and overall much better customer service. read more

I did all my driving here and my first drive was with a man named mike, the drive was fine until he started talking about my previous relationships. It seemed like he already knew a lot about me. After the drive a dozen people that I hadn't talked to in awhile or even at all texted me explaining to me what this 50+ year old had said inappropriate and sexualizing things about me. He then proceeded to come to my work and repeatedly asking for me. My parents eventually went to A+ and complained, they said they would make sure he didn't come to my work anymore but did nothing about the comments he made to other boys about me (I was 15). This is disgusting and I highly recommend going somewhere else. read more

There are two main driving school course offices in Parker, A+ Driving School and Affordable Driving School. My daughter went to Affordable three years ago and had a fine experience, they had a save 10% coupon in the yellow pages. My son just completed his schooling at A+ Driving School. The two schools now cost about the same as I could not find a coupon anywhere. My son's experience has been fine as well. It's tough to compare the two schools based on the two children because they are so different. I think it's about a wash and either school will do an OK job of training our children how to drive. One thing that I wanted my children to be able to do was drive a stick shift and wanted to get 2 hours training from each school. I got a really good deal at Affordable three years ago that appears to have dried up so, I thought I'd try A+ Driving. I'm hoping that I can persuade them to have my son's third 2 hour drive session in a stick shift car. read more

The location of this company is an a busy strip mall. Almost 10 minutes after parking there, one of your staff (Pam Olmstead) said I was parked in her parking spot. The spot is unmarked and there were 5 open spots she could have easily parked. Since, I told my child to meet me at this location and I was able to see the store front from this parking spot, I obviously didn't want to move, and it was not reasonable to have to move considering the other available parking for Ms. Olmstead. I pointed out the open spots for her and I was legally parked and she proceeded to cuss me out (calling me a mother F'er, giving me the finger, etc.) I pointed out that there were small children behind her and she said "I don't F'ing care, you are an A-hole MF." If your staff is so unhinged/unstable that they can't handle parking one spot away from the normal spot, how can you teach people to drive? The reasonable standard for parking lots is, unless it is marked by a sign, the space is available for parking, this is rather elementary and common sense. Even your customer was in disbelief of her behavior (and visibly agreed that her behavior is over the top.) If your company own the spots from the landlord then put up a sign like any other company that owns parking spots. Otherwise, customers to the adjacent businesses are fully allowed to use these parking spots. Just like everywhere else... parking is first come first serve. There is absolutely no excuse for your staff to act like this, please tell her to go on a vacation and chill out (cussing in front of 8 year old's is never okay.) read more

This is my second experience at this driving school. Not myself per se, but my second teenage son to take classes here. I may consider myself a good driver and a good teacher of all things driven, but... ...I'll be honest here. I do agree that there are times to turn it over to a professional. Both of my sons, even separated by a couple of years, liked this school. They liked the instructors. They liked the location (Taco Bell across the street). They liked the driving time...especially the hot Neons. They were pleased and most of all, they passed their test. Thank you. Now 5 years until I'm back with number three. read more

Because of a weird series of events I had to get my license reinstated. I signed up to take the driving portion of my test with A+ mainly based on the great google reviews. What a wonderful experience! Stephanie in the front office was absolutely fabulous! I did my test with Gary who is so knowledgeable and so patient it made the whole experience actually fun! While in the waiting room I got to hear him interact with several teenagers and their parents. Talk about great customer service, I can't imagine a more wonderful experience for those teenagers as they go through this process to begin to drive! Gary treated each one of them with so much respect and confidence building I was amazed! A+ is the absolute best! read more

Last month- May 2020-my son and I pulled into the inconspicuous driving school parking lot and immediately saw a gentleman set off an alarm in one of the cars. He gave us a big smile, with me hoping, "Luke, I hope he is your instructor." Sure enough, instructor Gary Henderson took out Luke and returned with a successfully passed driver. For the next 15 minutes Gary stood by our car, walking me and Luke thru areas to improve. While Luke wondered if he had actually passed, I took notes and thoroughly enjoyed Gary's genuine enthusiasm in his job to make better drivers. 1) I have since made sure I do not land on "the paint" when I stop at a light. 2) I leave a car distance between the car in front of me at that same light. 3) I hope to implement Gary's suggestion to check my rearview mirror to complete every turn. Incredible service and the instructor was so friendly. I recently had a dui and had to retake the driving test for my reinstatement. The instructor Gary was so understanding and supportive. The school was very accommodating with various types of class offerings, Saturdays, cramming three sessions in a row or space them a week apart, whatever works for your schedule & the price was comparable to other schools in the area. The bottom line is that a child learns to drive behind the wheel with the parents during the one year time between the permit and getting the license at 16 (if that's the way you do it). A child does not learn everything in the classroom. For my kids, we sent them back to read the drivers handbook several times because we realized that when we got them out on the road, they did not seem to be able to make quick decisions based on prior classroom knowledge. Both of our kids took their classes three days in a row. Seemed like that was too rushed for them to be able to apply everything they learned without going back and re-learning the rules of the road using the driver handbook. Bottom line is that you can't depend on any school to teach your kids how to drive in three classroom days. The responsibility is on you. One thing I do wish, was that they would give a bumper sticker that said "student driver" to each child to use when driving with the parents. People can be so rude and impatient. Best place and people who bring smile on your face. So friendly and make you relax. I was very nervous as i went to other driving school for test who failed me by making reasons like not having hand over hand of my steering, keeping the wheel turned sometimes on stop lol yes the reasons where so funny. But these guys judge you on your basic driving skill and don't make you loose confidence by unnecessarily failing you. So if you are confident about your driving without any delay get your license from them. And yes I wish I can get colleueges like them to work with. You guys are awesome. My 16 year old son and I walked into the office today without an appointment for a driving test. We thought we had one scheduled at the DMV, but that didn't work out. What an ancient, broken system. Anyway, the people at the office could not have been nicer. They were able to work us in within 20 minutes, had great feedback for my son after the test and he was able to get his license today. I would not suggest having your teenager learning how to drive from the instructor Pam Olmstead based on how she handled the situation of the car door from the driving school when it hit my side car door. I was working when a customer came into my store to notify me my car had been hit. He thought she was going to have the student drive off. I walked out to my car to check the damaged she was still sitting in the car next mine and told me wind pushed the door denting my car. She said there was no dent when there clearly was with green paint marks that she was seen trying to rub off. I asked for her information and the she persisted to tell me "its not like you haven't done that, because your so perfect." and repeated that over and over when I asked for her information. The customer that notified me then came over to both us to make sure everything was okay and she then persisted to call him names f****er, and A**h***. All in front of her student driver. That is not appropriate behavior in this situation or in any type of car damage. I have never been so disrespected by what is suppose to be a professional instructor for the school. read more
