Great experience for our family. Three younger drivers and parents. We had 2 hours of class room…read moreteaching, which was eye opening and then 2 hours of hands on driving, where we gained confidence in getting the car out of front wheel skids (understeer), rear wheel skid (oversteer) and all wheel skids in various situations. Highly recommended, great hands on teacher who does not mince words if and when you screw up and explains to you what happened and why you skidded out of control. We feel a little safer now and this was important for our kids to learn too.

I just moved to Boulder, CO from SF, CA and had to drive in the snow for the first time driving…read moreacross CO on my roadtrip! There were times it was quite icy and very scary. So I decided to take the class to learn how to drive safely in snowy/icy weather. Michal was very knowledgeable and I learned a ton. The first part of the class involved watching informational slides as he talked and some videos of scary accidents. The actual driving portion was super fun! You get to practice how to handle different types of skidding, and Michal would give you notes on what went wrong and how to correctly navigate. I was not very good at first, but after doing it over and over again, it felt more like second nature by the end of class. I'd highly recommend this class!

I found it quite unnecessary, but you know, whatever floats your boat, but it was educational, so I'm not too mad. That place is not a scam, you CAN actually understand him well enough when given instruction. Y'all had me thinking of taking the test somewhere else honestly, glad I took the chance. The fact that they have to place a paper in their reception desk to talk about these "SCAM allegations" is crazy to me. This company exceeds in teaching their students about how to be a safe driver. But, as someone who…read moreis on the spectrum that needs structure; Master Drive falls short in that field. Having to schedule driving lessons with them is an ABSOLUTE PAIN because their lessons are MONTHS OUT and at odd times, which is an absolute inconvenience. Just to add more salt to the wound, they expect you to pay for three driving lessons for their standard package which does not help you with their driver's test in anyway. Oh? Do you want better results behind the wheel with our premium package? TOO BAD! It costs 1,000 dollars. I wish they could give you more time behind their wheel because driving in an unfamiliar car where you don't know how the car handles isn't a fun experience. And don't get me started with the cars! The floorboards are caked with dirt, the seats inside of the cars are worse for wear, and I've gotten a comment from my teenage brother who's also a student at Master Drive that the Kia Soul that he drived smelled like sweat. The cars that they expect the students to drive don't handle very well especially with the breaks being very spongy. As a driving school that pride's itself for safety, you'd expect them to maintain their cars. NOPE! Their cars are terribly maintained. Take your business somewhere else unless if your okay with a being handed a booklet and a pat on a back that says " We're not going to teach you. You should do our job for us " because this school does not engage with you in anyway with their instructors. Yes, parental guidance is important for driving. But, the instructor needs to also be in the picture creating a personalized plan for their student. Which Master Drive does not with only three lessons in their standard package. Driving students need more time to drive with instructors that want to help their students and be supportive to help them become a safe driver. Protect your pockets people! Find another driver's school or teach your student yourself!
