Went to look at an advertised car I saw online. I account for around $2000-$2500 to be added to an advertised price for taxes, registration, and dealer fees. I asked the sales rep about this before they ran my credit and he confirmed that was an accurate assessment. After running my credit, they came back having added close to $4000 to the price of the car. I have excellent credit so that wasn't the issue. The sales person came back with a financing person and they told me they wouldn't budge on price and showed me a list of similar cars in the area and how they're all at least $2000 more expensive than their car and how their car is the cheapest. The reason it's the cheapest is because they are lying about the advertised price and adding ridiculous fees on top to make it the same price as every other similar car. When questioned on why it was on the site still, Alexander the sales guy said, "That is a good question, we just had a meeting about that and we are looking into hiring someone to help with that." You are a dealership that posts cars online AS SOON as you can to sell them but nobody there can click a button to remove the truck when it's sold...and you have to have a meeting about REMOVING A SOLD VEHICLE! Lied about my original payment and %, then added The GAP insurance saying the amount would not change, lied again when i asked how much would this add to my account. My father saw a car online (2008 Dodge Charger) and he made an appointment over the phone with Carolina who was very helpful. We arrived and Rick Kidd greeted us and assisted us through the whole process. He answered all our questions, showed us the car, and went the extra mile to check the car out. This auto dealer is very attentive with their customers and they make you feel at ease with what can be a stressful situation. The 11,000 car I wanted to purchase became 16000, I confirmed a 1:30 pm appointment. When I got there the salesman was meeting with other customers. I bought a SUV at Driver;s Auto Mart 3 weeks ago. I have dealt with RICK KIDD. Boy, will these salesmen tell you every lie in the book just to get your money!!. Within 2 days of having the car, I repaired my brakes, that's when I was told, they spray something on the brakes so sometimes, you will not ear the noise is making when test driving the car. My honk is not working, the car needed tire rotation. I went to make a spare key, I couldn't because there is a chip on it, and Rick told me I could make a spare anywhere because there is no chip. The car was making a heavy sound, he told me it's because the previous owner had put an extension or something on the muffler; guess what, turn out thst wasn't true. Terrible. I was on my way to this dealership, from Tallahassee after talking to an associate, to purchase a car and en route I am told they sold my car, literally 2 hours into my drive. Fantastic. So I tried to get them to reduce the cost of the same model car that was priced $2k higher down to the original one (had more miles than the original one and was a different color). The finance manager completely refused to negotiate whatsoever probably because I chose to not take their financing. That was after the associate I was working with tried to play retarded and told me the car was the same price as the original one I was looking at and they had no idea where I had gotten the price....so I showed him the price...on their website...from my phone. Needless to say I walked out and purchased my car at a much more friendly and personable dealer. Thanks Auto Show. By the way, Auto Show doesn't tack on an $800 "Accessory Fee" that the associate at Driver's Auto Mart informed me was, "Oh yeah...that's lojack...and the stuff for it." Worst experience of my life! Nothing but scam artist working here. Worked with Carlos H. in financing and he was completely unprofessional and rude. We signed with one bank and were denied so he scratched the banks name out and wrote over it and sent it to another bank that raised the monthly prices and changed the whole contract without them notifying us or having us come in to resign. When asked how they could do that, my answer was "we can do whatever we want". Took 2 months to receive my registration for the car and when I would call for an update, Angela would hang up on us. Called to speak with a sales manager because I was feed up with being treated like that and needed to know a status on the registration and he had no answer for me. Said they are completely unprofessional and unorganized and he did not like that and hung up on me. If I could rate this place as a negative I would. Buying the car was the easy part. They gave me the keys, a paper plate and i was on my way. A few weeks passed and they still don't have my tag. I called at least twice a week and no one knows where my tag is. A month passed and now i need a new paper plate. They still don't know where my tag is. I call a few days every week and go through the same runaround with them. I emailed the GM who never responds. Instead, he forwards my email to a sales manager. He emails back assuring me that the tag will be here the next day. The following day i call and the receptionist says the tag isn't here and the sales manager is "in a meeting". She tells me that he'll call me back but he never does. When i call again he "stepped out" just in time. Now my second paper plate is expired and they're telling me i can't get a third one. They are incompetent idiots who can't seem the handle the simplest tasks. They don't even have the decency to call back. * Beware of this used car dealer. On May 2, 2016 I inquired about a 2006 Land Rover's VIN ending in 02136 selling for $8800 via their website. I received a call within the hour from Alberto Rojas asking me some questions, and he advised me that this particular vehicle was being serviced due to a hood latch problem and that when it arrives back from service he would contact me once it is back on the lot. Then on May 4, 2016 I received an email from Cristiano Domingues saying "we actually got this vehicle back this Monday, sorry for the delayed answer!!! When can you come over to take a look at it". On May 4, 2016 at 11:21am I in returned emailed him the following, "Hi Cristiano, I am ready to buy from you or someone else, but if you could get me in that 2006 Land Rover HSE for $8,000 I will fly down from Maryland to purchase that vehicle, but it has to be a deal worth me making this trip. Let me know if you would like me to take it off your hands within the next few days". After sending that email no one responded, so I sent another email on May 5, 2016 at 11:23am. I emailed Cristiano this, "Hi Cristiano, no one has gotten back to me yet since I made an offer. I want to give you a chance before I place my review online about my experience with Drivers Auto Mart. It started off good but it took a nose dive. Let me know if my offer was considered." Today, May 5, 2016 I recently started a chat on their website advising them of my dissatisfaction. I immediately received a called from Alberto advising me that Cristiano was off and that the car was back; but now get this...he said IT HAS ENGINE PROBLEMS AND THAT IS WHY THE PRICE IS LOW. So the story I get changed from a hood latch to a severe engine problem that was beyond their Service Department capability to repair. I have never heard of a legitimate used car dealer that sells fixer uppers as I was told this vehicle was. That was NEVER STATED in their description.
