I am happy to report that the customer service at Driver's Auto Mart is unbeatable. I dealt with salesman, Luis G. and manager, Julio. Both were very attentive and helped me get exactly what I wanted. They gave me a good value for my trade-in and when it came to negotiating the price of the car I wanted, they also made sure I was taken care of. Carlos, the finance manager was also a joy to deal with. He seemed very knowledgeable and answered all my questions without fail. Another thing... several days after my new purchase, I experienced a minor issue with the vehicle. However, I called Luis & Julio and they were more than happy to take a look and help me out. Conclusion, I feel that Driver's Auto Mart is an honest dealership with excellent customer service. If you are looking to trade-in you current vehicle and/or you're looking to buy a quality used car, give this place a visit. read more

Hands down worst auto dealer ever been to. Absolute waste of time. Unprofessional, attempt to ripoff etc. couldn't even test drive car. Bought new one instead. read more

Don't even begin to waste your time, incredibly unprofessional from every single employee I've dealt with. I originally was looking at a 2008 Mazda Miata for sale for 8,874. After calling this morning I made several attempts to ask the phone receptionist how many days the vehicle had been on the lot. No exaggeration, I probably asked this question 10 times and had no answer. She said she would have someone call me back shortly and I waited for a few hours. After going back and forth with several calls, I could still not get a straight answer from 3 people about how long the vehicle had been on the lot.Taking matters into my own hands, I found out this vehicle had been on the lot for 185 days. I made an offer for 8000 dollars OTD (+++ included) to the online sales rep, and he said he would let the General Manager know and call me back within half an hour. After waiting for over an hour, I called back and asked to speak the online sales rep, and he informed me that all of a sudden, after 185 days, within an hour of me placing my offer, a customer has placed a 1500 dollar deposit on the vehicle earlier today. Now the sales rep informed me originally that the customer wasn't going to be here until Tuesday to put down the deposit, but then changed his story to say he was here now, to then saying he was here earlier. The sales rep informed me that the general manager was right next to him and he would get him on the phone for me so I could discuss the price. AS CLEAR AS DAY, the phone was picked up and hung up after about 30 seconds. I called back, and asked to speak to the general manager, the phone receptionist told me the general manager was unavailable, so I explained that I was hung up on, and like magic 20 seconds later I was connected to the general managers assistant, and immediately the general manager. I explained that I was aware the vehicle had been on the lot for 185 days, and was willing to drive 4 hours to come work a deal on this vehicle, (not to mention the vehicle had an accident). The manager also explained the deposit was made on the vehicle so unless I would pay full price he wouldn't sell it to me. HOLD ON A SECOND - So a customer can put down a 1500 dollar security deposit down, but if someone else comes and pays full price Drivers Auto Mart will sell the vehicle to the next person? So, to recap: 185 days on the lot, 8000 offer made, getting the run around on the phone all day, magically a full price buyer with a deposit appears within an hour of a phone call from my offer, but if I pay full price the other buyers deposit means nothing. I haven't even had a chance to get into negotiation's with Driver's Auto Mart, but from someone who works in the car business, trust me, GO ELSEWHERE. From the beginning this has been a truly negative experience, from phone receptionist, to online sales rep, to sales rep, to general manager. I wish I could give them zero stars or negative stars. Pricing you see online is a lie. 2 stars because i felt they did not own up to their mistake when going back and forth about the Out The Door price on a 2015 Chrysler 200 Limited. I was told one amount for the car and after i filled out the online application, the sales rep called me and explained that they made a $900 mistake. I asked to speak to the GM and he didn't even attempt to own up to their mistake. The price of the car was good, compared to other dealerships selling the same car. Hence why I gave them 2 stars. I just felt like they should of owned up to their mistake and offered something to compensate but nothing. Not even a free oil change. It was the take it or leave attitude that would prevent me from recommending this dealership or coming back to this dealership. read more

The car was missing 2 out of the 3 catalytic converters the car was supposed to come with. The car they sold me was modded and they had no clue. Do yourself a favor; don't believe any word these spammers' say... Was looking at a Prius and saw their ad with navigation, backup camera, power seat etc equipped 2013 model. After talking with them on the phone and confirming that the car was available, I was on my way to see the car and trade in my Jeep. As soon as I got in the car, I realized that, car was a base model with none of the listed feature in it. Really nice lady, who was helping us, had no idea that the car ad advertised differently. I showed her their AutoTrader ad and she told me that they might have mixed up with another Prius... well hello ??! you didn't have any other Prius in your stock on top vin numbers were matching as well !!! So she agreed and told me that she will show the to the manager and he should give me a better deal if I wanted to get the car. I can live without Navigation or Backup camera etc. Car seemed clean other than couple of visible thick scratches. Neither that wasn't a big deal for me. As long as they gave me a better deal. At the same time floor manager took a ride with my 5k miles owned and previously garaged kept 98 Jeep Cherooke Laredo with brand new tires, fully surrounding bar kit, original paint, leather/power seats and all in perfect/working condition with 150k. ( I can sell it for $3.5k easily ) He got back and answered my how is my jeep question - " Drives and feels great" They told me that they were getting the best deal for me while I was waiting patiently with the lady outside who was helping me the entire time. She was really nice and agreeing my clear points to get better deal on this car. We were asked to get inside to see the great and honest offer that I was supposed to be getting. Let's go thru some details - They were asking even more than advertised price. - They were asking title fee of $500 while it was going to be transferred. - They were asking for accessories fee that they couldn't even really explain what for.\ - Of course a fat ass dealer fee. - Trade in value - $1k LOL (you can probably buy 4 Jeep tires for that price) - Some other Bs that I can't recall but laughed really hard. So they asked me what's your offer !!! I said - well take out all of these unexplainable fees, drop down your price since car is base model - opposite of the ad and give an acceptable trade-in value. New guy shows up to tells me that my offer wasn't accepted cuz he doesn't understand why would they lower their price regardless seeing that car is not the car they advertised. Instead of hearing, " sorry for wasting your time and making you drive for an easy hour to get here", I am hearing that " you came here because you see a good price - if that car had all that feature in it, price would be even higher so you are getting a good price " Their ad is still everywhere as that car fully equipped. To all the buyers out there. beware!!! Especially if you are a woman who does not know much about buying a used car. This dealership will lead you to believe that they are helping you. But they are not!!! I walked out after I was quoted a high interest rate and I could not find a vehicle that was in my monthly price range. I walked out because they would not budge in their prices or their high fees! I should have gotten into my car and kept driving. BUT one of the managers there came after me and texted me asking me to please come back inside and that he would help me. So I believed him. Huge mistake!!! I was offered to test drive a vehicle I really was not looking for but I was tired after spending 6 hours there. I wanted to believe that they truly wanted to help me! Instead not only did they convince me to buy a car that I did not want but when finance was done with my application not only was my finance interest rate higher than when I was approved for another car but the car I bought was way overpriced and they made me put down more money! I had no time to research this car since it was not the car I really wanted and when I got home I saw the same car a year newer with less miles and dealer certified!!!!! Yes I got ripped off. I was deceived. The business director, michael griffiths, was the guy who came running out to me saying he was going to help me yet when I was brought back in he disappeared and was no where to be found!!! WHY Mr Griffiths??? You knew your staff was going to take advantage of me? Not only was my car not dealer certified but I was given only one key!!! This was never disclosed to me either until I was ready to drive away!!! In addition to only one key they had NO OWNERS MANUALS. NO KEY CODE which you need to program the car for keyless entry!!! Very important to have!! Only three mats they threw in because I complained and after bringing my car for an inspection I found out all my tires were bald!!! Then I found out there is a steering wheel recall. One thing after the next!!! Thanks drivers auto mart!! For the key chain and the deceitful lies!!! Will I ever buy another car there? absolutely not!!! Will I ever refer this place to friends? absolutely not!!! SO buyers beware!!! this dealership in Davie will take advantage of you and lie just to get you to buy a car from them. I am VERY disappointed, especially in this business director. Mr Griffiths. He said he was going to help me. He disappeared! Some help! read more

Do not buy a car here !!!! I went with my fiancé to buy a cargo van for work and we were "helped" by "Mo". Based on the way the other associates spoke to him and guided him you could tell he was fairly new. Now I'm not even upset about that part... here comes the problem(s). When we tell him what car we can wanted to see and the car we were turning in for the trade he ran the numbers with Carlos (a financial manager of some sort). When carlos came with the numbers he just gave us a paper and didn't explain a damn thing. Now, as a consumer I looked it over and I saw this "environmental package" for $899 on there, which thank God I asked what it was for because after telling them we needed the vehicle for work and our move to TEXAS - he told me it was for dings and scratches to the paint caused by environmental factors... mind you no one in there right mind would drive 1000+ miles to fix a scratch on the paint... so I told him to take that off. Apart from that they wanted to offer my fiancé $1000 less for his vehicle because the service engine light was on, however the van that we went to go see also had the service engine light on lol so I told him "where is our thousand dollar discount on the van?" which Carlos thought was funny and said that they would fix it right there in house.. When we saw the car it was dirty inside with rust in the cup holders so I asked Mo if it would be cleaned and he assured me it would be "detailed". The next day we went again to go see the car again and work out the numbers with the banks... we spent the whole evening there crunching numbers. When it was all said and done they were gonna give us a van with less than a quarter tank of gas, the service engine light wasn't on (which was bullsh*t) and the car was still dirty inside. The next day we get in the van and behold !!!!!! THE LEFT REAR BLINKER DOESNT WORK, THE ENGINE LIGHT IS ON AGAIN, THE USB CONNECTION DOESNT WORK. I called Mo and his answer was "you guys bought the extended warranty so take it to Dodge". Now we have to pay $100 more than what we just spent on a deposit for a car. STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE. I recently purchased a truck for our business from Driver's Auto Mart. My business owner handled the paperwork and picked up the truck. He was charged $2000 more than the "out the door" quote I had been given. It has been more than 30 days and they still have not sent the title to the truck. The temporary plate is now expired. When I call the dealership I get bounced from department to department, put on hold, and told emails were sent to have someone call me. I have left voicemails with the titling department , finance department, and with sales. No real person seems to be available to help me. I have also filed a complaint affidavit with the Florida DMV. a literal awful experience. I drove 2 hours to see a car that was just listed and made and appointment not even past 12 hours in advance, and I got there just for them to say they sold it without any information. they even had a representative call me later after I left to see if I was still interested in said car, it is still on their site too, not even listed as sold or on hold. I had tried to even see or reason with the guy there for maybe other options, refused to even look at my loan and said my loan is dirt essientially and that he can't help me unless I give him more money or do their financing plan, dealership things I know, but all other places I went that day, at least looked at my preferred option of payment and gave me information about what they could work with me, not what I'm doing wrong, do not go here, even if you're trying to get an old used car for a teen, 100% a scam and it'd be "sold" before you even get there anyways. read more

Total waste of time. STAY AWAY!! I found the vehicle I was looking for online. I researched it and found the price was on the lower side of "Fair Market Value" (Based on Kelly Blue Book and NADA) Went down to look at the vehicle, I already knew what I wanted so test driving it was just to pacify the salesman and to assure myself I couldn't detect any visible or drivability problems. I was with my young child and wife so I wanted to get in and out as quick as possible. I told the salesman to write it up so we could get out of there. He asked if I had a trade in, I explained if they were fair I would trade my car, if they weren't it wasn't a big deal, I would sell it outright (good car, just no longer meets my needs) When we sit down, he explains that the car I want to buy is going to be more than the price posted on the windshield, as I expected I would have to pay tax, tag, title, and more than likely a dealer fee (which I already struggle with) He said yes, plus almost $4000 in "Dealer Installed Options" Paint Protection $970.00 Theft recovery system $999.00 Reconditioning $1,899.00 (Of course I have to ask myself, what was so wrong with it before that you had to invest almost 2K to make it right and now I have to pay for that?) Plus $899.00 Dealer fee (thats just under $5000.00 in their markups) The car I was looking at was posted online for $28,444 ($5000.00 in unwanted and almost no cost to them Packages adds almost 20%) And an assortment of other minimal fees) Lastly, they offer me half of the going trade in value for my car "because of its color" When you look up the trade in value, the color, mileage, zip code etc. is already built into the algorithms Anyways, don't get caught in the bait and switch... Too many dealerships out there to risk it with this one. However, it explains why dealerships like Carmax are doing so well. Do not buy a vehicle from these people. Upon my purchase of a 2018 Toyota Rav4 advertised on their lot for under $19,000 from salesman Wilberto Rodriguez , I was not given the advertised price. The finance manager Norka Santana told me they had to add an "environmental fee" which involved cleaning the vehicle and doing undercoating (which I am skeptical they did). Plus, there was an added dealer prep fee. These fees added up to well over $2,000 extra. Florida Statute Section 501.976(16) Actionable, unfair, or deceptive acts or practices (which I only found out afterwards) says: "The advertised price must include all fees or charges that the customer must pay, including freight or destination charge, dealer preparation charge, and charges for undercoating or rustproofing." This was a clear bait and switch scheme. They also listed many features on the internet site vehicle description I later found were not present on my car. Buyer beware! Repair cost. All included labor, parts, rental car. 03/12/2015 the passenger side rear door latch was broken to the point it didn't close. I had to take it in for repairs. Now at this time My extended warranty with the dealership from Driver's Auto mart was up at 51000 miles. the repairs are not covered. Estimated repair costs were 402.00 (not paid)about. I paid $75.12 for diagnosis. I currently have the vehicle parked at my home. I was sold a lemon 2013 ford fiesta. high mileage. UPDATE! DO NOT EVER BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! For any trouble it's best to contact the general manager directly. His name is Danny Sanguily at danny@driversautomart.com although be aware he will not even attempt to help nor solve any of your car related problems. A year ago I purchased a fairly expensive Audi S5 car. The car was the personal vehicle of the sales manager ( so obviously he knew quite a bit about his own car). The mileage was low and everything was under warranty and I was assured I would have no problems and the dealership offered "five star service." I want to clarify that I am probably not the most sophisticated purchaser of cars - Unlike other people who know to look under the hood and all of the things to look for, more or less I only take the word of the dealership, the car fax, I and make sure things are still under warranty. I am from New York City and I don't know too much about buying cars, however I do know quite a bit about driving and maintaining them well. My car was garage kept and only driven 500 miles since I had purchased it. I was very surprised when I went to a local oil change center and the service men pointed out to me that the tires were completely bald ( meaning driven to the point where they are flat) ... the car has less than 15000 miles and typically these tires would last at least twice as long. He told me it was obvious someone had been doing some very hard driving with that car. But it that I had to replace them immediately because they were very dangerous. I wondered why the dealership sold me a car with such bad tires, but I did not bring it up l, and spent the $1,000 to replace the tires myself. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago when I was driving the car to Fort Lauderdale. Smoke started coming out of the engine and the car suddenly was not shifting correctly. The smell became worse and I stop driving for fear that I was damaging the car. I called Audi roadside assistance and they towed it to the nearest Audi dealership. That dealership did an assessment and told me that the clutch and flywheel had been completely burned out and needed to be replaced, at a cost of $7,000 (to me!!) He explained this would be my cost because it was due to obvious wear and tear. I asked if it was normal for such a card you need a new clutch after 15,000 miles, and he told me that he had never seen the condition where a clutch for that car needed to be replaced even with twice as many miles! I asked him how this could be possible, and he said that whomever had the car before me was driving like Mario Andretti, or perhaps was leasing out the car by the day for tourists to drive. Well I called the dealership to let them know, I spoke to the general manager whose name is Guillermo. It was the first and only time I was ever able to get him on the phone. He has not picked up no return to call since, nor have any of the staff been willing to provide me with his email address or their own. I told him that this situation needs to be made right, especially since the car was owned by one of their managers himself, and they were fully aware of the condition. I went on to say that I would offer to pay the dealerships cost for the parts but I expected them to do the replacement and to make this situation right. I felt like that was more than a fair offer considering that I had driven the car only a few hundred miles very gently and maintained it in the garage the entire time I had it. It is Ben. 10 days and I am still waiting for any return call from any member of the staff. I have called 2 times daily, I have emailed, I've asked to speak to service advisors ... not a single reply from anyone. I did use their online form on Wednesday and I put in the comment section what had happened. I was surprised to receive a return call within 10 minutes from a very cheerful woman, who asked me how she could make my day better today with a new car experience. I asked her if she had read my email or the comments and she said she had not, she had only been given a name to call. So I explained to her the situation and she said, "oh I must transfer you to a manager." I asked if his name was Guillermo. She said she wasn't sure. Of course no one picked up and it went to a general voicemail. You cannot imagine how frustrated I am at this point. My car is sitting at an Audi dealership. It has been non-drivable for two weeks. And this dealership I will now have to drive personally to with an attorney to try to make this right. This is not the type of business you want to get involved with. I could recommend you CarMax or any other reputable dealership. Please do not make the same mistake I did and go with this company, I am so frustrated but I hope that this post will help others to learn and not make the same mistake. I also hope that I am able to recoup my losses even if I have to escalate to Consumer Affairs. read more

I recently purchased a vehicle from Drivers Auto Mart in Davie. Let me tell you it was the WORST car buying experience of my life. I purchased a 2012 VW Tiguan from a fat ass finance mgr. who either was terminated or quit by the time I took delivery of the car. Well when I went to pick up the car, the key was know where to be found. The manager Manny ordered me a key for the car (wow) but refuses to pay the VW dealer the 128.00 to program the key. They had the car towed to Esserman So before I even take delivery of the car, I need to pay the 128.00 to Esserman Volkswagon in Miami to program the key that the dealer(Drivers Auto Mart in Davie lost) The car has been there for 3 days because I refuse to pay for the key they lost, and since the finance company all ready paid for the car, its basically F*** Y**. In closing, its not the 128.00, its the fact the dealer wont remedy the problem they created. And just remember a**holes, this is so far from over. read more

Warning warning!!!! I bought a 2011 Buick Regal from Drivers Auto Mart & wish I had of waited!!!! At first the car seemed great on my test drive. I was told by Luis the salesman that this Buick Regal had been serviced by the Buick dealership in that area. After having the car a few days I went to wash it thru a car wash the a/c cut off after the car wash. I took it to a Buick dealership because I was told the car had warranty which it does but sense the Buick had been in an accident they wouldn't fix it! While at the Buick dealership the mechanic showed me several errors in the car. (1) a bunch of wires which were hidden behind the battery were all tie wrapped & taped up like having your car fixed in the ghetto. All the wires were supposed to be in brackets plugged into brackets which were on the side of the battery pack. The mechanic then told me that's why my a/c went off due to the water from the car wash getting into the wires. Rust had also kicked in. (2) He noticed another wire loose. He said this is a sensor for your computer to read the engine. He plugged it in and my check engine light came on , my drivers side air bag service light came on. I had Buick change my oil which I was told by Luis the oil had been changed. Big lie! Once I started confronting Luis with problems this car was having that he sold me he ignored my calls & text. Coward! The oil was so black that we would have to come up with a new form of black to mention how black it was! The oil filter was shriveled up after being so old! After running test the dealership said the warranty was no good since the car has been in a accident and you can tell where someone tried coving these flaws up. Buick wanted to charge me 5,000 to repair all! Then the guy sat in my back seat and the seat bracket was broken allowing my back seat to just set flop up & down. Back window panels were also loose. After adding up everything Buick wanted to charge me 5,000 to fix everything! I went back to Drivers Auto Mart fussing about this Buick Regal telling them I was going to sit outside with the good up in this car they sold me holding a big sign that read about how they screwed me on this Buick Regal! They had my car taken to the Buick Dealership near them & had there buddy who works there have the car fixed under the warranty. I took it in today because it shakes when stopping. Come to find out the mechanic tells me the rotors need to be changed that the dealership had the rotors cut & it will stop the shaking for about a month which means long enough for someone to test drive the car buy it & not have it shaking! Now having that done. The inside panels in front also need to be replaced. Popped out today! After buying the Buick Regal I did notice that several of there cars had been in accidents & repaired. I am not saying all there cars are like this, but be careful if you decide to go there! I will NEVER buy another car from Drivers Auto Mart or any dealership who may be affiliated with Drivers Auto Mart! The picture I took beside this car and posted was before I learned all the problems that needed to be fixed on this Buick Regal. Warning!!! Warning!!! Warning!!! Be extremely cautious when buying a car from Drivers Auto Mart! After complaining to Drivers Auto Mart about my cars situation one of the managers there curses me out telling me to bring him the F**ken car back & that he hated dealing with people like me. Meaning BLACK people. I also now had to take this Buick Regal to the body shop to have bumper put back on after it started coming loose from the car. I hate that I ever went to them! I am now dealing with Honda on trading this Buick in for a car that will not have issues as this one has had! I HATE DRIVERS AUTO MART! That picture of me on here beside the Buick was taken before I knew the car had all these problems & I don't know how to take it off! read more

Driver's Auto Mart - Used Car Dealers Near Me - Davie, Florida

I was contacted by one of their salesperson to come and see if I could qualify for a purchase. I arranged to meet the guy at 5PM after work on a Monday but when I arrived he was off that day. I was net by the sales manager that took almost 40 minutes to "help" me. He took me to a desk and asked to fill out a questionnaire on the computer that took 5 minutes. I waited for about another 30 minutes and no one tried to assist me. I eventually went up to him and informed him that since there is no one to help me, they can call me to comeback in the next day. I am still waiting on that call!!!.They need a course in customer service and in willingness to assist the customer. I understand that businesses get busy but does not mean yo ignore potential new customers. read more

What a horrible experience. Our salesman was totally dishonest. I actually had to put a stop payment on our check because my husband barely made it home in the truck we were told was in good condition. No need to go into detail but please do NOT waste your time here....someone should close this place down...... read more

Hi; my name is Lionel Sanchez, yesterday I went to Driver's Auto Mart to buy a car that they have for $17,600, When I arrived the price of the car was already over $20,000, finally I got the price down to the advertise amount, As soon as I drive off the dealer, the check engine light came on, I returned to the dealer and JJ told me "the mechanic left for today, come back tomorrow at 9:00 am. All this after the financial person told me "You have a free maintenance for a year. Okay I came back this morning at 8:30 am and JJ told me that the mechanic was coming at 11:00 am. The financier that did my paper work yesterday passed by and told me that the mechanic was coming at 11:00 because he work until 9:00 pm meaning that yesterday when I came back with the engine light on the mechanic was there. Today after I waited almost 3:00 hours, when finally my car was take inside the shop, JJ came out and told me that the mechanic did not has the plug to check the computer of my car and also can not check the balance of the wheels. "You need to take to the Cadillac Dealer" all this after I was promise a year of free maintenance. Then I said can I return the car "Not you bought it AS IS. My suggestion is that if you are in the market for a car, don't even consider this Dealer because you get there thinking that you are going to be treated as a customer but the reality is complete different. Be careful with JJ read more

Be very careful with this place. Went in to get a vehicle and saw their fees $899 dealer fees and another $1700 in other fees. After agreeing with the sales man that I would not pay the additional fees he said those were optional and I can opt out no problem. When we sat down with finance to sign and drive I checked and the fees were added back on. The manager came and tried bluffing how the fees are mandatory and I told him that wasn't our agreement. Needless to say they called me several times after agreeing to take of the fees but I couldn't go back there knowing that they're not to be trusted and not giving them my business. It was the last day of the month and they were trying to sell but screwed themselves for lying to a customer and trying to sneak in the fees. STAY Away. You been warned. And if they say otherwise. I can show anyone on this site the emails of apologies to prove it. You been warned. read more
