After I got there I was treated like some random kid off the street. The director was condescending and was clearly an ex drug addict. the ASI interview was done 30 minutes after I showed up on time, by a gentleman that told me he had not done such interviews in a long time. I payed 250$ and left. I followed up after 2 weeks, to find out they had done nothing on my behalf. They had me sign a release for ADOT and Sage Counseling out of Phoenix AZ. I asked them to contact the agency that has all the information on my case, and they refused and made a recommendation based on some 2 hour questionnaire from one of their clinicians. This place is a joke and they treat people terrible. They did the opposite of what I needed and I was treated horrible in the process. Please if you need actual help go somewhere that will help, avoid this place!!

In an attempt to clear up a 20 year old DUI with the DMV (it was already cleared with the court…read morelong ago) I was discriminated against because I am not religious. When I paid for the class, no mention was made that I would need to attend religious indoctrination in the form of a Christianity-based "12 step programme". When I discovered what was going on, I immediately reached out to Maria Sanchez, the director of this facility. She admitted that she was aware of the problem because other atheists and those with different religions had expressed deep concern over this requirement. She told me that she was looking into alternate, non-religious courses and that she would get back to me with an answer within a few days. She never did. I attempted to contact her numerous times over the course of the following weeks, but was told every time that she was either "out" or "in a meeting". Eventually I received a notice from the school stating that I had been removed from the class due to non-attendance, because I refused the religious indoctrination, of which proof of each meeting was required before being allowed into the DUI class each week. They also lied to the DMV and claimed that I had dropped out of the class instead of being forced out due to my status as an atheist and Taoist. If the DUI school and DMV don't have to respect anti-discrimination law, then I'm not sure why anyone should have to respect traffic law.

He took the time to explain things clearly and made sure we actually understood the material. If we didn't get something the first time, he would break it down in a simple way until it made sense. He pushed us to do our best but also supported us when we needed help. You can tell he truly cares about his students and wants to see them succeed in the electrical field.
