The school gave me the opportunity to really focus on learning the trade and building a foundation for my future career. The hands-on training helped me understand how things work in real life, not just from a book. I feel more confident reading blueprints, understanding NEC code basics, and working safely because of what I learned there. Mr. Shaun was an amazing instructor. He took the time to explain things clearly and made sure we actually understood the material. If we didn't get something the first time, he would break it down in a simple way until it made sense. He pushed us to do our best but also supported us when we needed help. You can tell he truly cares about his students and wants to see them succeed in the electrical field. This training academy charges a high price for this service, they gave me a price of 23,000$ for some AC training. The fraudulent part of this business I highly disagree with are 2 things. One, is the elimination of negative reviews on their yelp page. I left a review here 3 years ago. Two is that they promise you a job in AC repair. They cannot promise you a job, they lie about having "connections" in the business. I'm sure it's illegal for them to say so. I don't know many company's willing to hire inexperienced people, because the cost of training them would be significant. read more

UEI College is not supportive of working adults. Despite the high cost of tuition, the school pressures students to meet unrealistic deadlines, disregards personal circumstances, and treats people like numbers rather than individuals. The only positive experience has been with Miss V, an instructor who genuinely cares about student learning--but even she is overworked, teaching multiple classes because the school's employee retention is so poor. Since I started, I have already had three different instructors, which speaks volumes about the instability of this program. If you are able to you are better off going to a community college instead. read more

Ms. A has taught me everything I need to know and has fully prepared me for when I go out into the field. She inspires me every day and always pushes us to do better. I opted for Medical Billing and Coding.Unfortunately even after one year, I was not able to secure a job. OK, so UEI has been calling me excessively regarding an admission or supposedly an interest in going to their so call institute. The last person I have talked to was Steve. This guy obsessively continued to explain that I was interest when I had expressively stated 10 call prior to put me on a do not call list. I have went tot this institute more than 15 years ago, graduated as a Pharmacy technician, no one in their career's department has ever and i mean ever assisted me with careers. If i can give this institute no stars at all, I would. Usually i won't comment on anything but your excessive phone calls with random phone numbers is a little too much. Didn't let me finish speaking and transferred me to. A representative when I asked her not to because I was actually driving. The staff is nice.But the whole process is messed up .They have you fill out tons of paperwork and have you waste your time before even figuring out if your financial aid or discussing payment process .I had told them several times that I was at my limit with aid .And I wanted to set up a payment plan .At the end of the meeting after being there 2 hours financial aid just said "you dont have any aid available "which was what I said .But there was no offer to setup a payment plan or any other options they just said I would have to pay $9000 out of pocket on the spot .Which I would not mind paying in some type of plan.But financial aid seemed to lazy to explain anything . read more

For those who need to work to support themselves this in my experience is not the best place to go. With programs being as condensed as they are it leaves very little time to do much more than school if you're going to be fully engrossed in the curriculum. Unfortunately as well while many people state they are there to help you, the idea of " closed mouths don't get fed" is a joke ,when opening up to ask for assistance in multiple instances words have fallen upon deaf ears,I.e. unanswered and unreturned calls after leaving voicemails for questions important to my schooling, and this is with administrators that are seemingly very negligent. They say ask for help if you need it when your being reeled in by admissions , but ultimately its not Hogwarts you wont get the help you need even when you ask, it is a for profit school. As long as they get paid and get you singed up regardless of getting signed for a 10 plus ,realistically, of loan debt.... company perception seems to be no skin off theirs. was iffy about this place at first I just wanted to see my options and see how everything is set up, max made me feel right at home I wasn't expecting to go and sign up right on the day but I'm glad I did I choice medical billing & coding. and so far its going good ms G is the only teacher for that class although she has a lot of student from morning to evening I really appreciate her for doing her best on helping each and every one of her students. The fact that their career services team call and insist on getting names and letter from the companies that the students found ON THIER OWN Is insane The only reason they want that is to save their own skin as they will not take accountability for their poor performance in making sure students get a job after (which the school had promised everyone) Every company students apply to rejects them once they hear the name UEI because of its terrible school and terrible programs, not to mention the students practically teach them selves as the instructor abandons them or does not want to teach them and instead just distracts them. Kind of late, but I attended Reseda's grand opening in November for a campus visit. It was great to see all the staff and faculty members as well as the student adjust to their new location (i believe previously it was encino).    One thing I want to mention is the student ambassadors were really the back bone as I saw them interacting with current students and visitors with questions. I thought it was nice to see the students speak from their personal experience on the specific programs they're in. Just from speaking with their campus president Jackie, her enthusiasm reflected well among her colleagues and students. read more

As a veteran, I've had a bad experience with this school turning in monthly paper work for the VA office. There has been several time my monthly allowance has been turn down due to this school and the admin side. Besides that, there is lack of material and supplies. Everybody like faculty is great here at the end of the day this is a business but I just feel like they need to be more straight up or for any incoming student I feel like you need to pick a practical degree here because it would be so hard to get a job if you pick business administration go fix up your resume and get some experience you don't need to apply fafsa and you can apply at a local office, Criminal justice for what?? You can get a guard card you can be a security guard Pharmacy tech (you can apply at cvs and they'll train you) No need to waste 15-20k student debt I strongly believe Medical Assistant , Dental assistant, Medical Billing & Coding, hvac, automotive tech, electrician tech, and welding are the ones to really consider. But that's just me being honest but for the other staff and faculties I wish they were more honest because these are our money you guys are playing with. read more

What is the vault? I am so grateful for Sandra Clarissa, and the gentleman who sit next to Sandra I don't know his name my apologies. They were so great to me. First of all Sandra for being patient with me with helping scheduling tests for me to take my job Has me traveling all over because Sandra always stay consistent Omgee speaking of consistent Clarissa work constantly reach out to me to try to schedule tutoring but it just didn't happen one day. I finally just went and did tutoring took my test passed my test same day and I'm so grateful to her because literally I did not understand a thing the way she broke it down. I felt like if I didn't take the test that day I don't know when I would have came back and took the test. It took me three months just to take the test but she text me every other day probably once a week and then finally, the ball was in my court to actually come in. I hope she doesn't read this because I'm not sure if I'm using my period, or apostrophes correctly lol. I'm excited to begin my course here as a medical assistant student I'm excited for my journey. I feel like I will have the upmost support as a student here I have no choice but to succeed from the time you walk in to the time you see whoever it is, you need to see everyone here staff is amazing.!!!
