I want to give negative star review!!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS LOT EVVVVVVER!!!! We went to Drive With Pride on Memorial Day weekend. We were In and out with the car we wanted. They verified our employment and salaries. We had the car for 3 weeks and the came to repo the car. We hadn't even made the first car payment yet. We had our interview with the finance company and everything was good to go. The day they picked up the the car, they claimed the our employment was incorrect. We work at school districts and we are out for the summer. They said because we are out for the summer we are considered unemployed. Which is absolutely incorrect!!!! Now they do not want to return our down payment due to their incompetence! OHHHHHHHHH, but I am getting my damn money back. I am WARNING you please steer clear of this hell hole! read more

I purchased my vehicle in March. The sales people got me 0 down in an OK car ( not exactly the one I wanted) after getting it checked out my mechanic found several issues including bad tires. WORST DEALERSHIP EVER!!!!! BEWARE!!! There were too many things to list, but what it really boils down to are: they will never do what they tell you they are going to do, purchasing a car could take you up to two months (that's how long it has taken us and we're still not done), THEY ARE ALL LIARS (which is normal in car buying unfortunately, but they lied about stupid insignificant things), and most importantly they are a rip-off and their cars are crap. We bought a car from out of state and when it was delivered, the tires were so bald that it wasn't even drivable and it broke down within 4 days. Should I really write this review? It's clear the type im of business ran. But here I go. Went to look at a 56K ( says the website) Mercedes. I get there they check my trade in say they will give me 6500 and had 15k down. Sounds good right? Now the price of the Mercedes has jumped to 62k a whole even 6k as my trade in huh? Way to cancel that out. then they multiply taxes to the 62k pre down payment and trade to eat more of my down payment and leave me with a high car payment. which would not be the correct math it goes (price- down payment-trade then multiply taxes). They did taxes first against the already high market price. Fair market was 42k-53k they had 56k then tried to jack 62k. Clearly I played it cool as if I was thinking about it but already made up my mind and just let them run back and for giving me trash quotes. Before I went across the street and got a better deal. The white one was the one i really wanted the white one hey had but they wanted to scam me so hey it's what it is. The customer service here is TERRIBLE. The manager has a short temper. Stay away from Drive with Pride, AND their In house financing company "Mi Familia Autos". I questioned all the bad reviews to the manager, and he got so upset and crumbled and ripped the contract. Calls DO NOT get returned, and 95% if the cars from the in house financing company aren't safe to drive. I was put in 4 loaner cars, and 3 of them were in terrible condition, the last one FROM the retail side was in OKAY condition.- Don't fall for the FEW 5 star reviews because they are all FAKE . She bought her 2001 Dodge Durango and used it as a trade in/down payment, and was approved with no problem. Drove off two weeks later she received a call that her pay checks were wrong and she had 1 hour to get them right. So she spoke to her manager and requested that something was wrong with the check stubs and would need it fixed, this was a Thursday afternoon, Friday morning the repo showed up at her house and took the car and said she gave fake check stubs. So my sister came Friday to get her truck back and the manager said come Monday the sale person she was working with will be here than. So here we are Monday-she calls and they give her the run around, she said can you call I said yes, I call and tell them me and my dad which his name is on the title will be going to get the truck and they were all nice and said okay. 15 minuets later Terry calls saying when you come I'll have HPD here bc you have fake check stubs and that's a crime, I said I don't care who's there bc I got those check stubs from my employer so by all means HPD can be there. Now that Iv been sitting here at this crappy place I decided to write a review, 1-the Durango does not have a battery, when she traded it in it had a working battery 2-the manager is saying they can not find the title So now we are waiting for HPD so we can file a report! I just drove in to town from 2 hours away to find that the car I had wanted to buy had already been sold. 2 hours ago I spoke with a sales rep from Drive With Pride over the phone to verify a car I wanted was in stock at their location. I should have taken a clue when the sales woman asked if I would come in to see any other cars or if it was only this one in particular I wanted. When I said I wanted the one particular car, she told me the car was indeed available and even verified the stock number with me. I asked her if they could make it worth my time in the price of the car since I was driving in from out of town, we discussed numbers, and came to an agreement. I just drove 2 hours from out of town to this location only to find that the car had been sold several hours before the verification phone call and was told it was my fault for not verifying. I was referred to Drive With Pride and more importantly a salesman named Julio Cortez. I called him about a car I saw online and he gave me all of the information on it and even got the financing application started on the phone. I went in later the same day to test drive the Lexus IS 250. It was beautiful, looked brand new and drove amazingly! I told Julio exactly what I could afford to pay for the car and he made it happen. I took the car home the very next day and I couldn't be happier! He also printed the car fax for me and let me know every detail about the car's history and factory warranty. I would definitely recommend Julio if you go to Drive with Pride. Also, with ANY car dealership, let them know up front what you can afford to pay and stick to it! BAIT & SWITCH/ ROBBERY - NEVER and I do mean NEVER purchase a vehicle from drive with pride. I am 22 years old and I went there as a first time buyer. I'm sure most of us has had that excitement of being able to purchase your own vehicle from a car lot for the first time especially if it's all with money you earned on your own or even from your parents. It's still your first real car!! Anyways, initially when I went there I had my mind made up on the type of car I wanted however they said they couldn't get me that. so I dropped my standards to a 2015 Chevy Malibu and the finance manager Randy said "I'm not accepting anything under 3-5,000 down" ...NOT happening. So I said okay that's fine I'll just go elsewhere... About a week later I get a call from the salesman Ray which is whom I had been dealing with saying they "got me APPROVED for a 2016 nissan Altima" which I had already let him know that I didn't really care for nissans but I would settle for one at this point because it was a decent car and they were offering a lower car note than another car lot that I in fact turned down an offer from to go with DWP .. so I went and did the paperwork for the Nissan and got my insurance and everything together and left with my "new car" on January 6th.. slowly but surely January 19th approached and I received a call from Ray (the dealer) saying that he needed me to come in because they are able to "lower my car notes" so I'm all for it of course. I get there about an hour later and he proceeds to tell me that they are going to put me in a vehicle of my choice for the day because they needed the Nissan for audits with the bank and that the only way to lower the notes is to put me in a smaller vehicle instead of the Altima that I was already "approved" for. Randy (the finance manager) says "the only way you can keep the Altima is if you bring me an additional $1,000. I let him know that I could not bring him $1,000 so he then gives me the option to either bring an additional $1,000 or to bring check stubs from my second job showing that I made an additional $1,500-2,000/month and gave me a two week time frame. The following week on January 25th I called Ray and let him know that I will have my check stubs to him first thing in the morning at 10am he told me "okay great!" late night/early morning, January 26th around 4am we were awoken to someone banging on the front door and texting my phone saying he was here to pick up my car. It was Clarence (their repo man accompanied by another gentleman) he says "oh they don't want the car they just want what you're supposed to bring them" (the check stubs.) keep in mind this was a few hours after I told Ray that I would bring them that morning and only a week into the 2 weeks that I was given. so I'm like how am I supposed to take them the check stubs if y'all are taking my vehicle and I have to go to court in a few hours. He said he don't know but that's what I needed to do to get my car back. I later found a ride to DWP after I got out of court and basically Ray let me know that they were not going to proceed with the deal and they were not going to give me my money back either or even put me in a different car. Randy told me that the address that I live at is not really the address that I live at simply because that's not the address that I was at when they picked up the car. so i'm like how are y'all going to tell me where i live just because i wasn't home when y'all decided to come get your car. He was basically saying I lied on the application as far as my address is concerned because I was not home. I was confused because I know what address I reside at, my name is on my lease, my mail and everything comes there and all of my belongings are there, I explained that to him and he proceeded to question the address that I was at when they came for the car which is my boyfriend's apartment and he just shrugged his shoulders like he didn't care and didn't believe me. Anyways this whole ordeal ended with me leaving their building with no car and them refusing to give me my money back. Basically DWP is nothing but a BAIT AND SWITCH car lot and they have no problem with screwing over people. I would NEVER go back there nor refer anybody to go back there. If you all care about your money and how it's spent and really need a vehicle then I would suggest steering clear of "Drive with SHAME" because all they're going to do is take your money and act as if they're putting you in a vehicle that you like just to take it all back and put you in a vehicle of their choice. In all honesty I feel like I was robbed of my money, my confidence in car lots and my PRIDE. I came in to purchase a 2007 BMW 328I from Max at Drive With Pride. When I left I bought insurance from Drive With Pride and left without signing contracts. I was told we would finish contracts the next because it was to late at night to finish the loan. On my way home the car started have mechanical problems. So I text Max and he apologized because he hadn't drove the car yet because it had just hit the front line but to bring it in the next day and Drive With Pride would either fix the BMW or sell me a different car. So When I took it back I decided I would wait to purchase a vehicle. The management said that I messed up the transmission and I could only get half my down payment back. I put down $1500 and they gave me a $800 check which the didn't issue it in my correct name. I was then told that would be the only check I would receive. I called my Uncle who also tried to contact them and they told him I wouldn't receive another penny and then they said they wouldn't talk to him. I can't help that the vehicle had mechanical issues and that is the exact reason I contacted my sales person as soon as the issue started happening. Angie told me that GM said I couldn't be refunded. I had my uncle talk to Randy and he said he didn't tell her that as a matter of a fact he said he didn't know about the deal. All the dealership was doing is giving me a complete run around. I was told that I could just get an attorney and now I don't have the money to do that because Drive With Pride kept all my down payment. Drive With Pride has the BMW back and all I want is what is fair to me and that's my down payment. If you don't want to be ripped off don't go there. Saw a car that my son was interested in, called to make sure that it was there. Got a number of calls from them asking whether we were coming. When we got there the car was there or was it? Internet picture and info were talking about a car with 25k miles on it, so was a window plackard. But the car odometer said 38k. Sales guy did not know what's happening. Car was dirty as heck and not ready for sale. Everything reeked of being fishy. We left just to get not very nice text messages from the sale guy John. february 2, 2017 i found myself on the phone with someone at drive with pride and had an appointment to meet with someone to get a car. i was offered a 2014 dodge challenger for 1500 down, after hours we filled out all the paperwork and i left in my new car. i was with gm financial my first car note was due march the following month , i paid two payments for march and april of 448 so i could keep myself ahead. i signed on gm online to make my payment and i was told the car was paid off in full and there was no car note. at that point i knew something wasn't right so i called my sales agent and told me "they ended up having someone else's paperwork in my folder and the bank sent the deal back". i was confused on how they could send the wrong paper work to the bank so i asked what's next she said they were getting my folder togther and waiting on the manager (randy) came back from hawaii over the weekend. i was promised a call the next week on tuesday to come back and sign more paper work to go with another bank. tuesday morning may 9 2017 about 3:30 am someone is bamming on my door, i open it and it's a gentlemen there asking me if i wanted to get anything out before they tow it, at this point i was so lost and confused for 1. i had just spoke with someone who said they were waiting on a manager for 2. i paid my car note up twice and it wasn't due again!!!! i call my sales man and she tells me this is a misunderstanding and she called randy on 3 way. randy got on the phone and said he apologized because this was all a miscommunication and he stated they still had to take it because it was already hooked up. i had to take off work the next day to go up to the car lot to go with another bank which was "global acceptance" things were looking kinda suspect at this point. i signed my second contract may 09,2017 with michelle and was told my next car note was due june 9, 2017, she said we would get a welcome pack in the mail and a phone call. i tried calling the bank and the number on my contract didnt work (469-444-8788) i tried looking online for the bank and found nothing but a email and i emailed them and got no reply. by the end of may no one had ever called or sent anything june 9 2017 i reached out to my sales man who stated she had quit. i then contacted the finance manager who i signed with (michele) and was told over the phone that she quit as well! it was now due and i have been calling and calling but getting no where. i finally got a receptionist to go to the new finance manager and give him my name and number and told her to tell him i am trying to pay my note with my new bank can he give me their contact information because i never got anything. she came and gave me the same number so i told her i will be there saturday because i'm off and this is confusing me and i'm getting no communication! before i could leave work there was a tow truck at my job demanding i give him the keys so they could again take my car!! i was confused and upset because i've been trying to call and pay and couldn't speak to anyone so i asked him to call and he didnt. i left work and was on the way to the car lot while the tow truck was speeding right behind me like i was running i nervously pulled over and called my sister to let her know what was going on in case something happened because at this point i didnt know what to think. when i pulled over at a gas station the tow truck driver got out and came around to my window i let it down and he had someone on the phone who said im the tow driver clarence and we have to take your car , i said i want to know what's going on and why are you calling me instead of the car lot he said "well they said you called the bank and said you didnt want the car" my mouth dropped because again i had no number or info on this bank. the tow driver then looked at me and said "don't take this personal" i looked up and he jumped in my window over my steering wheel and reached in my car turned off my car and snatched my keys out. i managed to get them back and i hurried and let the window up locked my doors and drove off! i didn't know what to expect next and was on the way to drive with pride myself! my sister met with me there and we went in, all randy said was "its nothing i can do the bank said you dont want the car" i said sir i paid 1500 down and my car notes why would i call a bank and say that! my sister told him this makes no sense someone is doing something dirty,.. randy hopped out his seat called her a bitch and told us to get tf out without explanation !!! i asked for the bank number and didn't get that. now i am getting threatening phone calls that they are going to send the police to my job to arrest me for auto theft i have a lawyer and if anyone has dealt with drive with pride and their scams where they take your money and act like the deal didnt go through contact me!!!! its not right and we deserve our money or our original deal! email : kladykent7@icloud.com read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. My husband drove 200 miles round trip to see a car that was not even on the lot. Mr Larry Cousins spoke twice with my husband about the car and Mr Cousins secretary even called the day of the appointment to be sure he was on his way. About 30 minutes from arriving at the dealership, my husband's passenger called and again spoke to Mr Cousins. Upon arrival, the vehicle, as well as Mr Cousins, were no where to be found. Never again in my life will I go to this place. Not even if it's my last option. All liars. .will tell you anything to get you to buy a vehicle and will take your deposit in a heart beat. But we decided not to purchase a vehicle after all and had hell getting my deposit back. Went to manager and couldn't get any help from him either.
