I came in for a diagnostic because my passenger side speaker kept cutting out. They told me they would run it and tell me what the issue was. They called me after they got to it and told me I had the wrong key because of Ford's 'Mykey' feature so they couldn't run a diagnostic. They still charged me full price. For a diagnostic that they didn't do. Waste of time and money, I would not recommend anything from this place. read more

Had a scheduled amp install at 3pm but they let 2 other people go infront of me since i did not buy their products in-store. Costed me about 50 minutes in wasted time. The cashier "accidentally" put a $50 4 gage wiring kit on my receipt after i clearly told them i had all the components i needed for the install. Finally got my truck in the garage for the install, and everything else went smoothly until they pressed me to purchase one of their amp wiring kits. (So they wouldnt have to give me a refund) Also, The installer cut a very large piece of carpet in my driver side floorboard which leads to the engine bay, so now i can hear a lot more road noise and engine noise. They completed the install in an hour and forty five minutes, not counting my wasted time. The system does sound good, but i might reconsider which place to go for my future audio needs. read more

Let me begin saying that I prefer to do local business with local people. I made certain to arrive at this establishment, as soon as they opened, with intentions of purchasing a new head deck, that included USB/AUX cable and Bluetooth capabilities for my teenage daughter's car. The Salesman that helped me was very courteous, but seemed a bit lost, nonetheless I made a decision with hopes that the unit could be installed same day. The young man then showed me the list for the current day's install and to help assist him, as well myself so my daughter wouldn't be to long without a vehicle I made the decision to return on Sunday. He then advised that it would be a good idea for me to arrive about 15-20min. before noon, when they opened to avoid a lengthy wait. in the Interim I proceeded to homework on the products I was purchasing and found that the head deck I was being sold didn't have very good reviews, not to mention was $60.00 less, on a couple of other sites. it was then that I decided I would go back in on Sunday to request a refund. This is where my discontentment begins. As I am speaking to the same young man requesting a refund he proceeds to tell me they don't offer cash refunds, which I replied, "that's fine, I paid with a card". By this time I now had the pleasure (sarcasm) of speaking to an older woman of whom I am lead to believe is one of the owners of the establishment, who becomes argumentative in her further explanation of policy. I proceeded to explain that I wasn't made aware of such policy, hadn't taken ownership of any product and furthermore didn't have anything installed. She, then proceeded to show me this information in small print at the bottom of my invoice. Its then during this process that a gentleman walked up to inquire about what was happening. This Gentleman was much concerned and understanding and I would assume is the Woman's Husband and Co-Owner. He directed the woman to go ahead and process the credit, however you could see the anger both verbal and non-verbal, which I found to be very disrespectful, not only to myself, but the other customers around us. As the woman proceeds to issue my credit with the use of my card, she "accidentally" charges my card an additional $262.83. So, now I have 2 charges and asks me to sign that copy, so she can proceed with a credit of $525.66. I made a point to share with her that the double charge was not an issue for me and understand the processes, but may have not fared well for someone that may have not had the additional funds and possibly caused their account to be overdrawn. The 2nd and 3rd stars are a reflection of the initial salesperson and the gentleman that came in to assist with my refund and offering to get my car in ASAP for install. However, I quickly got past that with the woman who was very rude, unaccommodating and charged my debit card a second time. I am all about SOP and rules, my suggestion would be posted signage throughout the establishment explaining the NON refundable policy, as well coaching sales to include this information as part of the pitch. read more

They helped me find what I wanted, and not only didn't pressure me to buy more expensive products, but helped me find the solution that cost the least! Their prices are phenomenal too! Aug. 2015 I purchased a vehicle cash from Dean and Velda Folkner(owners of drivers edge) and i never received the title for it. They ended up giving me the run around every time i called and VELDA even threatened to call the police. So i did not stop contacting DEAN since he was who did the deal with me and he tried sending me to Car King! I called there and was told i would have to pay for title. Note: i paid a private owner who also wrote me a receipt! After placing a police report because i was unable to provide tags for vehicle with no title and filing a report with the state of Texas, in Austin, dealer division an investigation was started. Now to those choose to believe these people were not trying to scam me out of my title and my money and make threats against me, if the state knew i was at fault they would not have made DRIVERS EDGE remove all vehicles for sale on their property and CAR KING had to pay for my tax title and license and gave me my title in hand in front of investigator! I cannot stress enough do NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS NOR TRUST THE OWNERS OR THEIR WORDS! CAR KING EITHER! Look at reviews always! read more

This company has been AMAZING!! Everyone is so very kind and willing to walk through everything with me. I had a million questions and looked at tons of radios, and they never made me feel like I was bothering them or wasting their time. I was having some issues with the radio shutting off and they were soooo very kind and had me bring it back in so they can fix the issue. They spent all day calling around to resolve the issue, when it wasn't even an issue with them. It ended up being a Ford issue but they still spent all day finding a resolution for me. They are amazing people with AMAZING customer service and definitely the place to go!! read more

let me start off by saying I've purchased two subwoofers in the past from drivers edge and I have had no issues... One thing I did notice back then was that they were rude when I was just kind of looking around (not showing too much interest in me as a customer). I ending up buying the subwoofers both at separate times. First off, their prices are really inflated... Their reasoning is "the warranty" they provide. With that said here I am not even a year after the second sub I bought and I went in to buy the new Audiopipe BD4... At the store it is retailing for $275.. I went in and ask if they would price match and they said sure, only catch was "no warranty"... So yesterday when I bought the speaker I went home to install it... The subwoofer was rattling.... I took the sub today (next day) to show them the problem and I was told that I would have to get with audiopipe to get the speaker replaced because since they price matched me they wouldnt replace it in store... I reiterated that I purchased the other 2 subs at full price and never ask for price matching... The lady manager is always rude and not helpful btw and all she kept saying was "that is the sub with no warranty that we price matched".... I was really upset with the way they treated me(being a repeat customer). I was then told if I paid $275 they would exchange the subwoofer... So be aware... I will also note that I was sold the subwoofer that was on display and then treated this way... SADDDD... treat your customers with respect. Especially if they are repeat customers... read more
