Not a fan. I am trying to gift Custom Audio one more chance to stand by their work, but so far…read morethey are simply yelling thru the phone and refusing to be in my opinion, honest. I should have trusted my gut when, from the beginning, they were sketchy. I took my Tige boat to them with interference issues and after being there 5 hours they told me the stereo itself would not come on? It was just one 2 weeks ago. So now I have more than an interference problem. I take them a brand new marine amp and still they find a reason to ask me to purchase up to two more amps from them because this 4 channel one is too big. Really? After driving into town and waiting 1.5 hours, after they tell me a finish time, I take the boat home (15 minutes later) to find that the stereo is cutting off and on. $272 later they say too bad, so sad. Would not recommend. Service recovery is a lost art.

My system has gotten much better ever since he has gotten a hold of it. He has even fixed works from other stereo shops! He does work for all of the employees I work with and all of them love his work! He is a family guy with two daughters and an amazing wife and he runs his business very good. He has a ton of high quality customers that come into our family restaurant and all say his work is amazing. Mike just installed my new Pioneer touch screen and I am in love with it. I think everyone should go into his shop and personally meet Mike Jones and his workers, they all care and love their work, and do there absolute best to keep their customers satisfied. Dont just read theses bogus reviews, take some time to actually meet the real experts. A lot of shops are out to get these guys with this bogus reviews. I have personally seen the dozens of tropheys Custom Sound Works has earned and I know they deserve them.

I am elderly and disabled and trying to survive on social security. I drive a 1997 Nissan Pickup…read more I regrettably answered an ad on Facebook for a mobile mechanic. He, the mechanic, Jessie Briseno, said the problem was the starter. He took an extra day, because he said he had to order it from the O'Reillys Warehouse, and that it was $136, but had a warranty. He repeatedly claims to have problems with his phone and staying in touch. I called to check the status, and he says he doesn't have the money for the part or gas to get it. The whole family came, in a white van they said belonged to a customer who didn't pay, and took me to an ATM to get cash. From there we stopped at a station, and I fronted him $20 for gas. I gave him $160 for the starter to cover tax etc. They supposedly go to the Warehouse to order the starter. Next morning, again no call. Finally his wife says it's ready. The truck has never run this bad before. He gave me no invoice, receipt, box from the part, or the part itself. Nothing to verify the warranty. I checked with the Warehouse and they said he has never ordered anything there and they don't know him. The website shows the price on the starter, was actually $82.99 + $40 core charge. Remember I gave him $160 to pick it up. He wanted $60 more for the labor, after telling me he charges $70 to do a starter. He accepted $40, because that's all I had. The Allens One Stop Shop website says 'customer satisfaction' is their motto. That's not what I experienced. I asked for the old starter or the $40 core charge, and a receipt, or the box. Again no call. After several hours with no reply, I asked for my money back. The 'wife' said they would come to my house with the police. They refused to produce anything verifying the purchase or warranty, and at the very least they took a $40 core charge that belongs to me.
