Their website does not let you cancel a subscription. I signed up last Tuesday and do not want to be billed again for service. Once through the machine it ripped off my side panel running lights. Below is their response to my cancellation request. It's ridiculous. "Please stop by and speak to the site manager. To cancel your membership, open the Drive & Shine app, click on your Garage (icon at the bottom of the page). In your garage you will be able to tap on the vehicle in question, and click manage membership. This will provide you options to manage your membership, including the option to cancel. If you are still having issues, please speak to the attendant on duty at any Drive & Shine location." An EVIL company. read more

This is the only place I get car oil changes after being ripped off big time by Jiffy Lube. The guys always get me right in and know what they are doing. They don't ever act different when I decline extras. They seem to be thorough. You stay in your car during the service, and it is fairly quick even when you have to get something extra done. They always give me an estimated time. I've never had an issue here. Sometimes you can get a coupon for a percentage off and you always receive a free car wash code. read more

I bought a truck that had ZERO swirl marks in clear coat only washed 3 times at there car wash and have severe swirl marks and was told that their carwash did not create them. If this place wasn't the ONLY drive through car wash I would not use it. Got my oil and transmission fluid here - too my surprise it never took place -go figure (Mechanic proof) also if you go to the drive through with tire rails - you'll damage your wheels with dents and scratches- one more thing, you can pay for the top range wash and they still don't completely dry your vehicle- no attendants to dry the vehicle like other drive through companies in other states than Indiana- they don't remove the snow or bugs from your vehicle when pulling in either- waste of money lol I'd rather use the manual car wash good luck with this place read more

This place is outrageously expensive. $36 for a basic interior and exterior clean. In Chicago the same service would be $13-$25 so I expected it to be at least the quality level of that. Instead the $25 interior clean was nothing other than cleaning rubber mats. As you can see the car was left with crumbs and dust and this was after I asked them to go over the area again. They didn't vacuum the trunk either. Just a really subpar job made worse by the inflated price. read more

Ok, one star because like many before me have said, zero stars is not a Yelp option. Where to begin...my wife's car is a disaster. She just doesn't have the time or inclination to wash and vacuum. In an effort to be an amazing husband, I tell said wife, I'm going to get your car cleaned. I'm not talking about one of those gas station car washes, I'm taking it to Drive & Shine. Their tv commercials say they are awesome. Your car will be like new inside and out in 10 minutes. Now I know that's probably an exaggeration, but if I go first thing in the morning, my wait time should be minimized. Here is where it gets fun. I pull up second in line. I know I'm getting out at least close to the 10 minutes now. I pull up to the kid, and he recommends the Inside Out Special, only $40, that's a full $10 off of their regular rate. Now I'm regretting my decision to not run it through the gas station washer. But, by god, my wife is worth a ruby wash and clean interior right. This is a fun part, the wash guys are here, but the guys that do the inside don't start for another half hour. "Do you want to wash it and come back in a half hour for the inside?" He asks. Hell no! I'll just drive to Starbucks, add $8 to NYU car wash experience, and come back when the inside guys start. After I finish my half caf latte, I return for my prize. My helpful friend was still manning the check in station so I confidently ask for the $40 inside out special. Small problem here, it seems the inside guys are here, but they still haven't programmed his supercomputer to ring up the special that was prominently displayed in front of me. No problem, just pay him for the outside, and pay the other guy separately for the inside. $25 later, he sends me on my way to...you guessed it...a gas station drive through tunnel washer. After being dragged through with the windows up and transmission in neutral I pull around to the inside guys. A short wait and a kid, perhaps supercomputer guy's brother asks what I want. I want the inside clean like on tv I tell him. No problem, pull up and go to the waiting room. "Where is your receipt?" Inside guy asks. Well I threw it in the trash, but supercomputer guy said I had to pay you anyway I says. $15 later I'm back in business. "Your going to clean it like on tv right?" "I want he floor mats clean too". "There is some leftover cashew chicken gravy that leaked from the carry out box that needs removed." Inside guy takes a peek and assures me the cleaning vinyl mats is included. After a short wait, I'm called from the pack of poor schleps waiting for a clean car, handed my keys and I'm on my way. Except...the hood of the car still has bird poop residue, the dash wasn't wiped, the windows are streaky, and the cashew chicken gravy is still on the floor mat. There was almost no value for a $40 price tag. My recommendation is, just don't bother with this place. You could easily duplicate the value by throwing $35 out of your car window, drive through a gas station car wash, and have your 3 year old nephew detail the inside for you. Took my car which has barely been driven to get a full clean and then put it back in storage. Drive off the lot and see the car wash broke my windshield. Drove back in and filed a complaint. met with manager and he says it wasn't the carwash!!! They could not provide us with any picture showing any damage when we pulled into the wash. Shawn did an oil change on my Honda Pilot right before Christmas. The next day my check oil, check engine, and VTM4 sensors were all lit up. I took it into the mechanic where he found zero oil on the stick among other problems caused by running the engine without oil. This cost hundreds to repair. I spent $20 for a car wash today and it was a total waste of money. When I got home, I realized the entire back of my SUV was still dirty - it looked like no brush had even touched it. I took my finger and could write my name in the dirt. Then as I looked at the sides it looked like it had been poorly washed and poorly rinsed. What a mess. My whole family about got blown up because of a rushed oil change. They improperly re- installed a skid plate they removed to perform the oil change. I could tell they were having trouble with something underneath but the guy up top was in a hurry to get us out the door. Next day my wife and kids were driving normally and the skid plate lets loose and get lodged underneath piercing the fuel tank and dumping gas everywhere. They deny any incompetence saying they performed everything correctly. This skid plate has been working correctly for 163,000 miles but let's go very next day after the oil change. Ok so I went in to get my oil changed because I just purchased my used vehicle and I don't trust that the dealership did any of the regular check fluid items and I was right. Everything was bad from engine oil to tranny to coolant. But the reason I gave them 2 stars is because you would think you get what you paid for. They changed it but everything says it was checked and ok on the list and they don't check everything so the pricing is ridiculous! You think of you ask for a full service oil change you would get what is checked off on their checklist they show you. Thankfully, I knew that the cabin air filter was new because when I checked it on the car lot it was way too dirty and had lots of debris. My car is still dirty. I paid the the $40 for the best wash and interior cleaning. Still had bird poop and dirt spots all over my car after the interior clean I still had sand in the back mat of my trunk and had to vacuum it when I got home. I just moved here from Texas and in Texas the interior clean is included in the car wash and only cost $25 total and they actually do a great job. This place is an absolute rip off. The first time I went to Drive & Shine, I was scammed. I swore never to return. However, I needed an oil change later in the evening, and $24.99 didn't sound too bad, so back I went. This time, I was determined to not get screwed over. Let me describe my visit to these con artists for your pleasure. The words out of my mouth when I drove in were: "I would just like the basic oil change, please." I reiterated this phrase when they were moving to sell me on new wipers. In short, I was pretty clear that I didn't want anything extra. The next attempted upsell consisted of about $450 worth of unnecessary nonsense. Seriously. They tried to sell me on every kind of "flush" and additive possible. But I was prepared for this and declined it all. So far so good. I'm definitely going to get this $24.99 oil change! So they inspect the filter and change the oil. It takes maybe two minutes. And now it's time to pay. I take out my credit card and hear these words: "That'll be $47.90." Are you kidding me!? Will these people never stop? I respond: "No, that's supposed to be $24.99." The tech immediately apologizes as follows: "Oh, I'm so sorry. Let me fix that for you. It's just that last time you came in you had the full service, so I thought that's what you wanted this time." I twice requested the basic oil oil change. I never requested a full service anything. And there was nothing "full service" about anything they did. They changed the oil. I also can't find any oil change that would sum to $47 and change on their website. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if it is company policy to penalize employees who let people out of Drive & Shine for $24.99 (plus tax and a $2 "service fee"). read more

My Wife took our 2017 Jeep Cherokee in for a wash as we had just purchased it . The next day I looked at it and noticed that above the drivers window had rub mark in clear coat . I asked her what happed to the jeep and she replied I just washed it , Why . showed her the mark . she said i just drove it home . Log story short, what should have been the $24.99 oil change ended up costing me almost $70 (every penny I had at the time). The oil change took almost an hour and after all that my car started leaking oil because they didn't put my drain plug back in all the way.
