I called a very popular roofer in the area for an estimate and had the worst experience. He left his car running, looked at the roof from the ground, and said "you need a whole new roof", and left. My home inspector said absolutely not, call someone else. Another estimate came from a company that didn't even come to the house. I told them what my inspector thought was the issue and he quoted me a price solely based on that. Feeling super defeated, I ended up calling Ryan at Elegant Exteriors for a 3rd and final consult. I definitely saved the best for last because Ryan was phenomenal. He was up on the roof before I knew it taking pictures and surveying everything. He showed me what he felt was the issue and his prices were very reasonable. He was such a pleasure to work with too- just a genuinely nice, helpful, and honest guy. Buying a house is so stressful and when you run into issues like the roof, you want someone you can trust and who will reduce the stress. That person is definitely Ryan. Fast forward a few years and I'm ready to replace my roof. There's no where else I'm going but Elegant Exteriors. Ryan suggested a solution for a flatter section of our roof that no other contractor had. We were having problems with water in this area and Ryan's solution will surely solve our problems. Ryan worked with us on pricing. He had a superior warranty to the competitor, who says "I bet we did your neighbor's roof". Ryan made it impossible to hire anyone else. Matthew, the project manager, kept me informed of scheduling and what to expect at every step. Ryan and Matthew were on site for all of the job and Ryan was up on the roof a good portion of the day making sure the job was done right. Ryan, Matthew, and the crew went over and above. They solved several problems we had. They even saved us money on the day of installation by pointing out we had copper flashing around our chimneys, which is superior to aluminum. They notified me, reused and resealed the copper flashing, and credited me back $200. Ryan runs a super honest company. Elegant Exteriors is the company to hire for your job. (The previous owners left all supporting documentation for his review)! The minute I opened the door I sensed resistance. I invited him in and explained my issue. Initially, it was difficult to see the damage because of low lighting. I explained my dilemma and said, "wait, I have a picture of the problem." Once I showed him the picture he immediately put his hand up yelling and said, "Lady there's nothing wrong, you're crazy." Blaming the damage on the reflection of my ceiling fan. I was enraged and began yelling as he quickly excited my home. Now, if it isn't the roof that's fine, he was called into MY home to make an assessment, but the disrespect and attitude were unacceptable! Was it the tone of my skin, the fact I'm a woman and no male was present, the fact he's a business owner/contractor and believes he has no accountability for his work or behavior? Well, we will never know! I can assure you there was nothing, absolutely nothing, in my encounter with him that warranted his nasty unprofessional attitude! To close the circle, I have a friend who is a contractor come in and look at the roof, thankfully, it's just shabby work! Lucas answered while on an existing job. He was very honest saying he can't drop by to make an assessment. Knowing the importance of the situation, he said he'll have his father drop by to take a look. The father (was it Joe?) came by as promised and saw that the previous roofer didn't put flashing around a portion of the chimney. He gave a couple of possible fixes and I picked the more expensive one. He gave me a break on price if i went with the more expensive fix which i appreciated. Before showing up for the work due to budgeting issues i changed to the lower price solution. He didn't have any problems with this change. He and his other son (not Lucas) came on the day as promised. The funny thing was I didn't know they were there until i heard banging outside! They ripped some of the old roof tiles, installed new flashing and overlay them with some leftover tiles I had laying around. They also caulked around other parts of the chimney. They cleaned up their mess. There were aome storms afterwards and no leak! Thx to Lucas for knowing the importance of the problem and having your father and brother fit me into their schedule. And thx to father and son (was it Joe and Ezekiel?!) for fixing the leak! I would definitely consider them to put in a new roof when the time comes!

No matter who takes your information to pass it on, Dave and his manager will never call you back. Windows were purchased through them for my dad's company for the house he was flipping. They originally quoted them a certain price to install the windows that were purchased. Since it's now my house and no longer being worked on by the same contractor, they won't honor that price. My contractor now has been calling constantly too for a call back. Would not use archer if I were redoing the house again. Worst customer service and beyond unprofessional.
