Unfortunately, the corners of the largest section have turned into water faucets that were always on. I tried my own DIY projects to get it turned off, but was unsuccessful. It was finally time to call in the pros. I found Made in America Roofing also through Yelp. They were local to me and also part of the Yelp Project Guarantee program. I was pleasantly surprised that Joe got back in touch with me within a few minutes of my initial Yelp contact. He was out to my house the same day and we discussed the project and some other roofing issues I had. He had a written estimate in my hands within two days, and the project was completed within the week. My multiple corner piece gutters are dry! He took off my gutter guards from my old gutters and put them on the new ones. We added a second downspout and you can clearly see that the pitch is correct. For my other roofing issues, Joe was able to see some possible areas where rain may have been coming in and causing a shower inside my house. He even showed me pictures he took to explain what he saw could be problematic. He caulked the areas and so far I haven't had water coming from the ceiling lights. I did not get any other quotes. The price I was given I thought was fair and reasonable. I also had a concrete patch hole in my garage fixed by Made in America Roofing. Joe had his mason guy come to do that project for $150. Joe and his helper, Vlad, completed the project in a few hours. I couldn't believe how much sludge was inside the gutters. Just shows how much they weren't pitched and draining properly. Now my gutters are doing the correct job. Communication was excellent, price was fair, and he put in the extra help for my roofing problem that he did not try to get me to do a replacement or work that was not necessary. I wish I could give this company a 0 star. Recently I…read morereplaced the roof of my residential house by this company. At the beginning, I asked to add a start and end days to the contract. They refused to do so. But still thinking this is a reliable trustworthy company by the positive comments. So I chose it by paying a higher price than the other companies. During the installation, I saw the DeckArmor underlayment was blowing by wind while the shingles nailed down. I asked the leader of the crew if they should nail down the underlayment first. He said no. That's the normal. I emailed Bill, the project manager, pictures and video. I asked him to clarify if DeckArmor was installed as per for manufacturer's instructions. He didn't answer my question. Instead, he escalated it to his VP, Alex Valentino. Mr. Valentino said the underlayment was not fastened by plastic cap nails/staple as GAF's instructions. It was actually fastened by regular staples because Deck Armor and shingles were installed on the same day. That's their "standard industry practice". They have done that all the time to all his customers, not just for me. I asked him for a proof. He sent me a very blurry picture. Nothing could be seen. He made some comments about me that I didn't appreciate instead of answering my questions. I contacted the GAF's Technical Questions Support Services. They said that Deck Armor should be fastened using only plastic cap staples or plastic cap nails prior to the shingles being installed. Regardless, it is a same day installation or not. And they also attached the GAF's Deck Armor installation instructions. After I sent GAF's information to Mr. Valentino. He said he wanted his lawyer to get a full payment by legal action. Well, the installation crew skipped the fastening step. The pictures showed no fastening by any kind of nails/stapes. But he said the Deck Armor was fastened, but by staples. There's no need an inspection for more data. All the available data demonstrated clearly that the practices were intentionally cutting corners by skipping fastening, using the substandard staples for time and money, which can lead to long-term roofing system integrity issues, often remaining hidden until major issues arise. These issues stem primarily from water infiltration and moisture entrapment, leading to a variety of problems though the damages may not be showing up right away. The GAF's specific warning DO NOT use the nails/staples without cap have its reasons. They lack the holding strength and durability needed for a secure and waterproof roof, while the plastic cap ones that spreads the pressure over a larger area, preventing the fastener from tearing through the underlayment and helping to seal the hole it creates. I liked their slogan - QUALITY ISN'T EXPENSIVE...IT'S Priceless and their high ratings. I thought if I paid a high price I could get a high quality roof. End up I didn't get the quality but frustration and distress. I just asked for a simple yes or no question leading to a legal action. This company is not accountable!!!

Roof continued to leak. Gave him over 30 days to return to fix. Wouldn't come back. Said "too busy, have someone else look at it". I did that with a different roofing company. The original repair was done bad. Wrong size gasket with razor blade cuts. Wasn't the right size and did cover the correct areas. Requested a refund of my $200 and was told "NO". The owner Tim is not reasonable and said it was an as-is job which continued to leak after his repair. Leaked with 30 days of 1st and 2nd picture was his repair. 3rd picture is corrected repair. When I messaged the company to say I didn't appreciate them coming unannounced and unscheduled, I was told it was my fault for not specifying that I expected a call before they showed up! Wild. Do NOT send this company your address--even for an estimate--or else they may randomly show up to your house and climb up on your roof unannounced and they will go up there whether you are home or not. I have found Marcy the owner is to be straightforward and honest, and though she can be a bit brusque at times, as she is in the Philadelphia roofing business I can understand. Their pricing is reasonable for quality of work. No roofer is cheap and if you apparently find one, don't trust them. We have a complicated roofscape (skylights, large AC unit mounts and penetrations, and major crickets required to clear drainage obstructions) and some leaking problems that predate our ownership. Castelli, and particularly their foreman Jimmy, have been generous in attending to drainage problems that may or may not have been a result of their work. I appreciate their work and the efforts made to help us negotiate our finicky roof.
