I loved that Proven is GAF Master Elite qualified, and in addition is one of just a few roofers in the Master Elite Presidents Club! But the real proof was the quality and excellence of service that was provided during the roof install. The crew showed up on time, tarped the entire work area to catch the torn off roof and nails, and there was a project manager on site the entire time! He kept in touch by text letting me know where in the process they were, and even texted me photos of the progress! Afterwards, he walked me around the entire home showing me the details of what was done. The property was left in pristine condition, not a scrap or nail in sight! Not sure what parking lot they get their employees from but they did more damage than the simple job that I hired them to do. I should have posted this back in 2024 (it is currently 2026) when this issue occurred to help you Yelpers but didn't want to impact a legal recourse. The job I hired them to do was to take out a roof ridge vent and replace with regular roofing ridge shingles and install an attic fan, that was all. Did not need 7 employees hanging out on my roof. I had to yell up to them that taking the chimney apart was not included in this work so they bent the aluminum capping back half ass. They did not even replace the ridge vent shingles correctly or enough therefore left exposed nail holes from removing the ridge vent shingles. The photo (see my photos) of this job shows the light of the sky that you can see through one of the holes from the INSIDE of my attic. When complaint was presented to the owner I was told that the holes are too small to let rainwater in!! They also cut the ridge vent shingles right on my existing roof without a cutting board therefore slicing up the existing roofing shingles. The attic fan was the wrong one installed which was a cheaper version. Wouldn't you check the item to insure it was the correct model BEFORE installation?!? Proven contractors also conveniently gave me an additional estimate for $$$$ thousands more to fix the damage that THEY caused. Also owner of this company is very curt and dismissive when approached with the complaint. This company was a never-ending NIGHTMARE so if you hire them you better have knowledge and be the supervisor yourself.

I trusted this company to replace my roof and fix a small leak around the chimney. I told them…read moremultiple times that chimney waterproofing was the #1 priority. They replaced the roof, took full payment, and told me everything was done. Five days later, during the first rain, the leak became much worse. Water was coming into the house. When I called, they sent someone who blamed "siding issues" and "rotten chimney plywood" and refused to fix anything. The project manager promised to follow up and never did. I went onto the roof myself and found the real problem: they never installed the flashing between the chimney and the roof cricket. It's completely missing. This is basic roofing work and absolutely should have been done, especially since I specifically hired them to fix the leak. I have photos proving it. This company did not complete the job, did not address the leak, and did not follow through when the issue was reported. I cannot recommend them based on my experience.

The original repair was done bad. Wrong size gasket with razor blade cuts. Wasn't the right size and did cover the correct areas. Requested a refund of my $200 and was told "NO". The owner Tim is not reasonable and said it was an as-is job which continued to leak after his repair. Leaked with 30 days of 1st and 2nd picture was his repair. 3rd picture is corrected repair. I gave my address and never heard back, so I moved on to another company. Today, 10 days after they never responded after I gave my address, while in the middle of a meeting, I hear a bang outside and my dog freaks out. I had no idea they were coming and they were fully on their way to climbing up my house without my permission! The problem wasn't even on the roof, so I have no idea what they would have done once they got up there. When I messaged the company to say I didn't appreciate them coming unannounced and unscheduled, I was told it was my fault for not specifying that I expected a call before they showed up! Wild. Do NOT send this company your address--even for an estimate--or else they may randomly show up to your house and climb up on your roof unannounced and they will go up there whether you are home or not. I have found Marcy the owner is to be straightforward and honest, and though she can be a bit brusque at times, as she is in the Philadelphia roofing business I can understand. Their pricing is reasonable for quality of work. No roofer is cheap and if you apparently find one, don't trust them. We have a complicated roofscape (skylights, large AC unit mounts and penetrations, and major crickets required to clear drainage obstructions) and some leaking problems that predate our ownership. Castelli, and particularly their foreman Jimmy, have been generous in attending to drainage problems that may or may not have been a result of their work. I appreciate their work and the efforts made to help us negotiate our finicky roof.
