Unprofessional. We contacted Farmworks for estimates to renovate a bathroom and screen porch. After…read moreTim provided us estimates for both jobs, we let him know that we'd like to move forward and get started on the screen renovation right away. Tim said he'd get back to me and let me know when he could get us on the schedule. That was a month ago. I can't speak the quality of their work, but I can objectively say there is a fair chance the company will waste you time and then not show you the respect of calling you back. I understand if they were too busy for the job or didn't want it for some reason, but not why Tim disrespected us, wasted our time, and acted unprofessionally by agreeing to do the jobs in the first place. I'd recommend starting with another contractor with more reviews and an established reputation of professionalism. Edit: (Post Owner Reply) My review of Hallmark is similar because I had a similar experience. I described my experience accurately and honestly in both cases. You didn't challenge any of the material details of my review. A semantic argument about the definition of "ghosting?" I don't consider you telling me you'd get me on the schedule after accepting your bid and then not scheduling the work "a mutual dodge." I consider it an objectively unprofessional waste of my time. You were secretly offended by me getting multiple bids on a large job? Really? At the time, you said it was fine. I guess that wasn't honest. The bottom line is, attention to small details makes or breaks a job when it comes to home renovation. When a contractor shows you they can't get large details right (Like remembering to schedule your job after meeting and multiple calls discussing the job), that speaks to how likely they are to get the small details of the work right. This fact is something that might inform a lot of people's decision when choosing a contractor. Thank you for admitting you dropped the ball.

I could not be happier with the result, but was most impressed by the conscientious attention to detail! He had no issues answering my questions or dressing my concerns without being cocky or condescending... something a lot of contractors need to learn these days. I decided to hire him to install my kitchen for my full home remodel. I have zero regrets choosing him for the job. He did an excellent job and he did it right. I really liked his quality of work and his work ethic. I decided to ask him for a couple more estimates for other jobs that still need to be completed. I hired him for those jobs also. Sean's work is top notch at a fair price. Sean knows what he is doing without question. He's honest and has a great deal of pride in his work.... and it shows. He fully honored his contracts and didn't skip on completing any of the work I hired him to do. When he was done for the day he made sure he, and his assistant Zack, cleaned up before they left for the day. I've had several contractors in my house since this project started. There's only two that I would highly recommend. Sean is one of them. The other contractor was the electrician. I still have more work that needs to be done in the future. I trust Sean enough to make sure he will be the contractor I'll call when I'm ready to start getting those jobs completed.

Stop right here. Look nowhere else. I have done the legwork for you!…read more In 2018 we had Steve and at least 5 other contractors come out to give us a quote on our kitchen remodel. After meeting Steve, there was an authenticity about him that none of the other contractors possessed. Every question that we asked him, he was up front, honest and listened intently to our wants and needs. After receiving many quotes, unfortunately then, we knew we had to save up before we could afford to have our kitchen done. Fast forward to the end of 2019 and we were ready to take the plunge! We knew that Steve was our guy. We gave him a call, he came back out several times to take measurements, design, etc. We had a start date of March 2020. Surprise... COVID! Everything was in limbo and we decided it was best to wait. Finally come August 3rd, 2020 Steve and his helper started demo work. Our final completion date was mid October. During construction time, I had two other friends getting their kitchens done as well. The horror stories they told me of their contractors being late, not being honest, charging more than what the contract stated, etc. had my husband and I feel like we hit the jackpot finding Steve. Many contractors now a days sub everything out and don't lift a finger. Not this guy! He is there every day, doing the work, and is passionate about his craft. He is meticulous and will not cut corners, leaving you a project that you are proud of. Steve is arguably the hardest working human my husband and I have ever met. When you hire Steve, you don't just get a contractor, you get a friend...that turns into family. My husband, my two children and I fell in love with Steve. He brought us joy daily during the two months he was with us and has become part of our extended family. We miss seeing him frequently, but now get to enjoy the work he did on our home daily. All of our friends and family that have walked into our home think we hired a high end contractor and designer for our project. We hired an expert handyman - the name says it all. They respect your time and your home-from taking off their shoes as they walked around getting their measurements, to the installers who cleaned up after they were done.
