I wish you could give half stars as this is not quite a 4 but better then 3. Nice little…read moreestablishment in a small plaza. Nice crowd for a small bar. Off the top maybe 5-6 tables and a bar that holds 10-12 people if I was guessing. Multiple TVs playing all sports. Keno, Jukebox also available. Nice neighborhood bar. Staff were very friendly even though they were busy. As for the food, I ordered mozzarella sticks, a hot Italian sub with tater tots. The cheese sticks were bad. Tiny, lukewarm and not much flavoring. Marinara dipping sauce was bland as well. Now for the sub. Unreal Italian Sub. The tots were crispy and salted. The sub was AMAZING... repeat AMAZING. Served with Italian dressing, on a toasted roll. Banana peppers, onion, tomato, with multiple meats and cheeses. Definitely a bar favorite as I saw many people eating the same dish. It's worth a visit or a try if you're in the area. The big positive of this place was the prices. $2.50 a beer and $10 for that sub. My tab was low so that's always a good thing. I would go back to this place however it might be tough sometimes if the bar gets pizza. In the plaza it sits next to a pizza place that I was told you can order the pizza from the bar and they have a window to slide the food through. I didn't try the pizza so I won't review that place. Overall, a 7.1 out of 10 with everything included.

But always check out the specials for homemade soups and more. Today I had the special: breaded pork chop with home fries and mixed veggies which was great at 15$. Cozy place. Great juke box. Check the joint out.

Sandusky, OH has quite a large LGBTQ* community, but... Crowbar is just "meh". I really expected…read morebetter and realized that it's just like every other gay bar in most smaller cities/towns: music that is way too freakin' loud, expensive drinks, and the uncomfortable feeling that everyone over 40 is constantly trying to take me home. The service from the bartenders is quite good; they're able to handle large crowds almost effortlessly from the four different times that I've been. The drag shows are quite entertaining, as always, but that's not what makes a club great. If I had any suggestions, I would probably start with the DJ staff: they play great music, but have no idea how to read a crowd at appropriate times or how to adjust the levels to match the room and/or crowd. Everyone loves to dance and have a great time, but I don't think everyone should feel like their ears are bleed when they leave. Granted, this is typical of many different clubs, but it doesn't mean that it's how it should be done. Really, I had a great time and had some great drinks that were over-priced, but that doesn't mean there isn't plenty of room for improvement.

If you're craving a juicy burger and/or tasty wings while in Sandusky, Main Street Tavern…read moredefinitely has to be on your list. We came during peak dinner hours and waited ~20 minutes for a table, which wasn't bad. The place isn't too large, and given how good the food is, I can see why there could be a wait. We decided on the jalapeno poppers (June special), onion rings, lemon pepper wings, and two burgers with fries (BBQ ranch jalapeno burger - June special, Hot N' Spicy burger) all to share. Plenty of food for 2 adults and 2 kids to share! We all agreed everything was delicious. The poppers come out super hot, so definitely wait a little to bite into them. Onion rings perfectly cooked and crispy. Wings were plump and had good lemon flavor to them. Both burgers were juicy, but of the two enjoyed the Hot N' Spicy more. Service is friendly and attentive. Parking is available in a small lot directly next to the restaurant or along the street.

She let us know what they were known for (wings and burgers and their rotating specials) and gave my indecisive mind plenty of time to figure out what I wanted. Everything sounded so good! We settled for the golden bbq wings and classic pretzel bites for appetizers. The wings were great and that sauce was delicious! Wish we could find something similar in Seattle. The pretzel bites were good but we were already getting full. He got the Uncle Charlie burger which he liked but said it was a bit messy. He also said the maple sauce on it was unique and a little overpowering. I built my own burger and kept it simple with mayo, lettuce, grilled onions and cheddar. It was really good but I wish I didn't get so full on appetizers so I could finish it. I really liked the pickles that they served as a garnish. A little sweet and spicy action going on. Also the fries are hot and crispy and some of my favorite I've had anywhere. I wish this gem was in Seattle. It seems like a great place to grab a seat at the bar and watch sports on their televisions. They also have some tables available if you want to sit there too. I also liked that one of the tv's showed pictures of their specials. I wish I could go back and try some of their other items. The wraps and sandwiches looked really tasty and I love the uniqueness of some of their combos. If you're in the area and want some delicious food served with a friendly smile, stop in. You won't be disappointed.
