    She's the only one working

The wings were alright, the service here stunk because there was only one person working, and I'm bored out of my mind. We've been here for almost 2 hours and we're still hungry. And I betcha they don't even have ice cream. Lame

Was able to visit Driftwood Seafood Co. this week during one of their soft opening nights. Due to it being the soft opening, it wasn't very crowded, which meant the amount of service was phenomenal. Abby was very attentive and came to the table frequently to check in and do refills. To start off this dining experience, we ordered the crab bites and a couple of clam chowder. First off, the clam chowder was great. It was one of their special items for the week, so it may not be available every visit. The crab bites were just okay in my opinion. The remoulade they were served with did have a good flavor though. I probably wouldn't order this appetizer again on a future visit. I've had a couple of people tell me to try the hushpuppy basket on my next visit. For the main course, I had jambalaya and would definitely have it again. The sausage, shrimp, and chicken were perfectly seasoned with all the Creole spices you want and expect with jambalaya. The people with me had fish and chips, crab cakes, and the Low Country boil with crab legs. Everyone was pleased with their main courses and agreed that they would come back to try more items. Overall, I would say this was a good new option in Lynchburg that's definitely worth a try, especially if you're a seafood lover. Can't wait to see how this restaurant develops after this soft opening week.

This business also sells bagged Texas tamales, of which this Mexican girl bought several. And the flavor did NOT disappoint, what a surprise to find authenticity so far from home. From the creaky wood floors to a worn Chesterfield sofa, this place has character and history. The owner and his wife were incredibly kind, accommodating, and down to earth people. My breve was tasty and they had options to serve my dietary restrictions. There's a general store in the back with toiletries in stock and other necessities for those who may be visiting from out of town. Even the beautifully unique bathroom design left an imprint on my mind. I can't wait to go back again and try more items on the menu!

It even offers its own locally grown and butchered gourmet beef at truly reasonable prices. A century ago, the space was a car dealership. For the last few decades, it sat idle as a warehouse for a remarkable collection of antique automobiles. It's a mixed coffee shop and storefront vibe with mixed tables and comfy couch seating. Coffee, non-alcholic specialty drinks, soft drinks, pastries, and grab & go meals are available at the bar. General grocery items of snack foods, meats, bread, and eggs are available to serve downtown residents. Visitors will notice the unmistakable motor-oiled perfume smell of that era. It's the aroma of every internal combustion engine made for most of the twentieth century. That scent graced every garage and driveway in the world before engine seal technology advanced through the 1980s and 1990s. The fragrance may follow you home like Great Grandpa's old oil slinger. Nostalgia does that from time to time.

Terrible. Food was gross and incorrect, I placed an order with the s Waitr app (also don't…read morerecommend them) and asked for a pickle on the side. They apparently didn't have any pickles or didn't bother to include one (i do not care which) and since they didn't "charge me" for the pickle it's fine to just not include it and not tell me it wasn't included. Since the sandwich was a soggy ugly mess and contained ingredients I'm allergic to, i wasted $20 and ate a bag of lays potato chips for lunch. The sandwich is stinking up my trash can as we speak. I guess they call it Zero subs for a reason because i would give this place 0/10. I'm upgrading to a 3 because even though Waitr was unwilling to help, i spoke to a supervisor at the shop and he was very nice and offered to refund me since I couldn't eat the food.

The cheese was gooey melted all over the steak. I forgot to take a pic but it was beautiful looking. Ok so I waited 7 min in the clean gas station with a/c at a table with chairs played on my phone . Was it worth it yes. Highly recommend. I would have spent 10 to 15 normally for a steak and cheese. I spent 10 with my 2 dollar tip in her jar. Like I said cheaper then competition. Had to tip she was nice, she worked hard and the last part she put a good amount of napkins in the bag without me asking.
