I've been wanting to have a massage here for years. I finally was able to go. I love that they have a small private lot to avoid taking a ton of time trying to find street parking. The lobby is huge. I never realized how great their shop is. I would have liked an explanation of how it works before heading up stairs since they have an area to relax and with beverages after your massage but I'm assuming they wanted to get me right upstairs before my service started which was appreciated. My massage therapist was awesome. I did a custom 50 minute and it was so relaxing and the pressure was perfect. I come here every 8 weeks or so for a custom facial with Danielle. She is THE BEST. She doesn't push additional services, she really evaluates my skin and tells me her recommendations. I've previously had facials at many other spas and I've stopped going anywhere else. My skin has visibly improved and it's such a relaxing atmosphere. I received a phone call the next day & was able to book my appointment! The staff was friendly & accommodating I started reading reviews which were 50/50 & was a bit scared! My mom and I got facials yesterday at Drew Patrick. Every single employee was super!!! I had Milli, and my mom had Fariba. Both Estheticians were top notch!! Neither esthetician tried to upsell as other reviews mention. They simply offer things based on what they see with your skin. There is absolutely no feeling of pressure to buy something you don't want. You say no thank you and move on or accept the offer. In addition to reviews that criticized up selling, I noticed other reviews that criticized the 24 hour cancellation policy. I am married to a business owner that has this policy as well. Businesses cannot reschedule your slot if you do not give the courtesy of canceling ahead of time. These people giving low reviews for that reason should be banned from reviewing. Back to our experience. Both Mili and Fariba were EXCELLENT!! The table you lay on is soooo comfortable, and they adjust it to your liking. We even compared notes on the nice neck, ear, arm, and hand massage they give as well. We took showers afterwards which was a nice way to end our spa experience. Great shower!! Drew Patrick Spa is spotless and the ambiance is everything you expect a spa should be. It was my mom's birthday and they were so kind to her. The owner, Drew even invited my mom to take a peek at his office which used to be a bank vault. She had seen his interview on channel 12 news. Hit or miss here. Always a hit with Bonnie though. I'm not going to call out a certain esthetician but I've had her before. Today I took my daughter in law for a special day. Just basic facials. While we waited we had some light snacks and water ( would be nice if they had some fruit infused water) (bowl of mixed nuts and raisins only option ). When our names where called I immediately remember one of them, thankfully my daughter in law got the right one. This being her first facial I wanted her to be happy. I know my skin, I take very good care of it. This particular aesthetician likes to up sale. Hydro facials, Microderm, infused c water facials you name it she's trying to sell it. All around $290 I just wanted a relaxing facial. She told me my skin was dry and this type of facial would be basically useless. Whatever, it a was a 50 min facial. Her hands where on my face I would say 25 min out of the 50. She was washing her hands, changing her gloves, timers, bells blinging, fixing my head band,throwing the glove warmers on my legs. Heating up towels bla, bla. She could of been on her phone for all I know. I could sense since I didn't go for the extended facial services I was a waste of time. When my "$150 facial "was completed my robe was tossed on my legs, I've never experienced this practice before. Sorry to say not a great experience yet again by her. However, my daughter in law was very happy. She had a lovely time and no up sales where given. Was told she had beautiful skin. Enjoyed every moment. The spa is beautiful and I met with the nicest people from Samantha at the front desk to Gosia my esthetician who gave me an incredible and relaxing facial. Manager Monique was a nasty nasty woman. I was gifted over priced sweat pants that did not fit. I came back with the original pants (tag attached) and original receipt. Monique would not provide store credit toward the item because "I waited too long to exchange it". When asked why did not come in to return the item quicker, I let her know that I was not local to the area and she began to question me about where I lived. So unprofessional and rude. She then proceeded to let me know that she was "willing to offer me credit based on the sale price." When asked what the sale price was, she replied "I don't know, like 50% sounds good." Having received two gift cards a number of years ago, I was excited to finally plan a spa day with friends for a much-needed massage. I was impressed with the cleanliness of Drew Patrick upon walking in. When you first walk in, there's a lovely shopping area, which we browsed before checking in at the front desk. Our experience checking in was excellent- we received a bag with robe and slippers and instructions to go upstairs to the locker room and waiting area to wait for our treatments. So far, so good. Unfortunately, the rest of my day wasn't exactly as I envisioned it. I've had many aromatherapy and hot stone massages in the past to compare to...this massage was only meh for me. The massage therapist was very professional and nice, but it just wasn't a great massage. Oh well. The most frustrating part of this experience was when I went to pay ($175 for a 50-minute massage) using my gift cards. I had one gift card in the amount of$100 and another for $75, which were given to me when my husband passed away a number of years ago. I hadn't used them for a variety of reasons, one suddenly being a single mother and having three kids and not having the time to take for a frivolous spa day when I had so much going on. Then Covid happened, and it wasn't exactly first and foremost to do a spa treatment (not sure if they were even open throughout). So, the cards were over five years old. But I had a receipt for one of them, showing the amount and date it was purchased. The cards didn't go through, the young girl at the front desk had to get help, and they only ended up honoring one of the cards. She tried to give me some story about a law that went into effect since Covid that gift cards can't be more than five years old yada yadda. Ridiculous! It's a travesty that they can get away with not honoring gift cards (with receipt). That somebody night in good faith. The gift cards even had the amount on back and DREW PATRICK on the front. I will never frequent this business again and will certainly share my story with others who might be in the fence about going there. Very disappointing. read more

They handed me a pamphlet with no prices so I asked her again. What is the pricing on services. They saying what a facial cost cause that was the least expensive service at 150. I didn't want facial, I wanted a massage. then they gave me the price of the massage and it's Extremely a high amount.. double the price then a beautiful place down the block in Islip's so I asked why and she had to audacity to tell me that they're high end spa. I've been to many high-end spas and $200 minimum of the start of a massage is ridiculous. I was quite appalled that her answer was will wear a high end spa as if I've never been to a high-end spa I have and they're not even that costly and you get to enjoy saltbox or pools or other facility. I've lived in Bay Shore for years but somehow never been to Drew Patrick. I got a gift certificate for $150 and booked a microdermabrasion and peel for $180. I've done peels and md before so I knew what to expect. Very disappointed with this facial. Saw no results from it at all actually. The salon itself is very nice and the aesthetician was a doll which is why I'm giving 2 stars. If you're paying that much money, you should absolutely see fabulous results. read more

I was gifted a gift card for drew patrick from south shore university hospital during the height of the pandemic for being a health care worker. It took me a while to use it but I just did recently. The counter attendants made me feel so uncomfortable for using this gift card, like I was some kind of peasant. The masseuse, however, did an amazing job. I was very stressed from the long nights at work and it was the first time I got to relax in a while. So after a wonderful 50 minute stress relieving full body massage, I became stressed all over again when using my gift card downstairs. I recommend this place, just don't use a gift card. read more

I have driven by here many times when going to Bay Shore Village. Upon first time coming into the establishment, you will see a sort of gift shop store front. There are so many knick knacks and skin care and such for the browsing and shopping. You walk further in toward the back and you will see the front desk to check in for spa treatments. Although I have yet to try one of their treatments, I did utilize their yoga studio. It's clean and spacious. I also noticed an exercise room as well in the back. I am very fortunate that Drew Patrick supports cancer patients on their road to recovery and offered a free meditation yoga class for patients. I am truly grateful and now that I know more about this place, I will definitely try out their spa in the future. read more

Horrible experience! I went for a facial. They were very nice. I got undressed and was prepped on the table. She began to watch my face. I then told her I had Botox the day before. She said she would check to see if that was ok. She came back in and said it would be best to reschedule. She spent quite a bit of time explaining to me why and I even thought, " when I reschedule, I am going to recommend her" I got dressed, returned my slippers and robe and told the women at the front desk I will reschedule once I am cleared from my doctor. She smiled and I left. 10 minutes later, as I was driving, they called me. It was the same employee that had told me to reschedule. I know it was her because she had a heavy accent. She told me I was being charged 50% of my facial bc of their cancellation policy! I couldn't believe it. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager. I said, " but you didn't tell me that during our discussion in the room." She said she just found out. The women at the front desk didn't tell me that prior to leaving. So I had to pay 50%. Very strict cancellation policy. You might think to yourself, "Good, everyone's time is valuable." And you would be correct. Cancelling plans sucks, people rely on consistency and expectations. Salon and spa appointments are no exception. Life happens, of course. Traffic accidents occur, emergencies, caretakers cancel. Road blocks that echo like a butterfly effect, bumping things down along the way. Most people don't expect things to go awry, so they punch in that credit card number, holding their reservation, looking forward to their day at the spa. But, you know, shit happens. I received a gift card to Drew Patrick and was looking forward to some relaxation. I'm a working mother of an infant, and really could use that relaxing hour on a day off. As luck would have it, the stars aligned and I nabbed a babysitter, but as you might've guessed, she experienced an emergency and had to cancel. Now, I would be a huge asshole if I gave her a hard time about something beyond her control, so of course I said all was good and I'd reschedule my appointment. Too bad, so sad. 17 hours is not enough notice for Drew Patrick. Their "customer service" manager, Jackie M., feeling magnanimous, waived the cancellation fee, which I appreciated, however, it was not without repeating several times that their policy is a 24-hour cancellation notice. Did I get her voicemail? 24-hours notice? Oh, you read on our website, 24-hours notice. Can you please hop in your time machine and give me 24-hours notice, as it's very unfair to our aestheticians. Maybe instead of cancelling, you can find a person to take your appointment? Remember what I said about time being valuable? How about keeping it short and less insulting, Jackie? How about after my explanation simply stating, "I'm sorry you're experiencing an emergency, I'll be happy to waive your cancellation fee this one time, when would you like to reschedule?" Instead of just really hammering the point home about how much of an inconvenience I am to the spa you're running? Joke's on me, I guess, since I'm wasting my time writing this review. I just feel very uncomfortable about going to my now rescheduled appointment. If Jackie is any sort of representative of the establishment, I'm not even sure I want to set foot in there. I can't say enough about Drew Patrick Spa in Bayshore. There is a cute spa and gift store when you walk in and you are greeted by front desk staff graciously.. Miguel in particular is always so helpful and is so nice. You are told to arrive early to allow ample time to change in the locker room which has plenty of lockers, toilets, and showers.. The spa is always clean and the sauna shower is an extra treat after my massage. I love that the massage rooms are upstairs and when you come out of the elevator you are in another world and you can completely relax. It is quiet and they offer water or tea and a light snack. The waiting room is beautifully laid out with comfortable seating while you wait. I've been coming to this spa for about 10 years now. I see Carrie as often as I can. I have fibromyalgia along with several other back ailments and she is the only one I trust and can relax enough around to touch my back. Not only is she great at physical healing, but she is great at mental healing as well. She makes you feel at ease right away and has made my aching back feel 110% better. She is worth every penny and Drew Patrick Spa is lucky to have Carrie. She is an angel. There is not one thing I would change about this place. Just returned from the spa and I am completely impressed. Everything is so luxurious from the front lobby with a suite of shopping available to the changing rooms featuring a rain fall shower to the comfy robe and slippers provided. My facial technician was knowledgeable and was able to diagnose my skin problems on the spot. She also made sure the products we discussed were waiting for me at the front desk when I went to check out. I will definitely be back once my wallet recuperates because that's the one drawback -- they're pricey. But totally worth it. read more

This beautiful, high-end, EXPENSIVE spa has a lot of amenities, from hot yoga classes to spa lunches and a coffee bar to a retail area and steam showers. However, the spa services themselves are a bit humdrum. I got a scrub there, and it was much less thorough than scrubs I've experienced even at Aveda Institutes! No decolletage, no hands and feet, no midsection work at all. It was all back, arms, and legs, and even then, barely any pressure was applied. When I took a shower the next day, I could still easily scrape off dead skin on my back. The massages are just so-so, too. It's all just relaxation and no therapeutic work. Barely any pressure. Essentially, what you're paying for here is the ambience rather than the service. But at cruiseline/resort pricing, you'll walk out disappointed. read more

Wait, how is it that this place doesn't have a photo yet?! I've been here twice so far, planning on going back in the near future. My cousin took me here last year for a facial. It was a lovely experience. You are taken upstairs to a quiet oasis, treated to a relaxing luxury environment, and given top notch service. She gets massages there which she says are wonderful. I actually did a Christmas gift for my mom, sister, and cousin here this year that was great. They were very professional and helpful about getting all our services coordinated. My mom and I had facials (which were wonderful) and my sister and cousin had massages (which they loved). We had a spa lunch in a small room off the main spa area which was so perfect. It really felt like a little vacation. Yes, it is expensive so it is a once in a while treat. I go for the ambiance and a nice facial so I always leave happy. Plus the service is fantastic. Very, very, VERY underwhelming! I received a gift card and decided to spend it on a HydraFacial. My esthetician spent more time trying to take pictures of my skin then on the actual service. I also felt that she was needlessly rude and condescending. Now, of course I understand that people have off days and I absolutely don't expect anybody to entertain me during a service. But I really felt uncomfortable. And, by the end of the lackluster appointment, also taken advantage of. To be clear, I have had this exact same service done at other spas and was blown away by how great my skin looked after. At DP after spending $200 (hydrafacial+tip) I saw absolutely no change in my skin. Drew Patrick (for a supposedly high end establishment) is all frills, no results. Don't buy into the hype of this place. It's a complete waste of money and you'll walk away disappointed. I absolutely won't be back. read more
