Adorable little gem nestled in the heart of Babylon village.. I usually visit when I'm waiting for kotobuki to open... They have something for everyone in here, including kids (they have a nice section for them). Anyway, they have cute little bracelets and necklaces ranging from Alex and ani, lokai, strength, and positivity... We came in here to find something for my moms friends daughter, she recently lost her mom. They have stuff in here that is perfect for that, we ended up getting her this really perfect strength necklace.. they have perfect greeting cards for every occasion.. I like this store. They have lots of cute stuff for sale that you can't find just anywhere. I love the cute greeting cards and have bought many for friends who have loved them. I have also bought several Alex and Ani bracelets here for friends that they have all loved. They sell an array of jewelry, and other unique gifts for friends and loved ones (and yourself too, of course). They offer massages and facials but I have yet to experience their services here so unfortunately I can't comment on them...but hopefully one day soon. If you're in town, definitely stop in. The salespeople are nice and helpful, and I doubt you'll leave empty handed. read more

I received a gift card for an hour massage and I'm so happy I did. I wanted her to get majority of my knots out but still end off with a relaxing technique. Which is exactly what I received. From past experiences , healthy alternatives made me realize what I was missing. I love that they use oils to scent the room, they sometimes start off with making you breathe in lavender which I love and the bed and sheets are super soft and clean. I've been here multiple times since my gift card and it is my favorite spot to relax. I've tried a different person each time and was never let down . Huge parking lot directly behind which is convenient and I am in love with the store inside. Tons of unique cute gifts even Alex and ani too. read more

Great friendly place! They offer so much that I wasn't aware of! In addition to the inspirational items in the store they have services such as Massages, Acupuncture, Facials (some of the most superb facials you'll ever get!), and Holistic Nutritional Counseling. All of this in the heart of Babylon Village... who knew? I had a Vino-therapy Facial there recently which is composed of extracts from grapes. As far as I know they are the only place on LI to do that type of facial. OMG!!!!! It was a 1 hr. hands on facial... the Esthetician never left the room and she also massaged my feet, hands, and shoulders! My face felt like a porcelain and I literally felt like I was floating. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and friendly. The items in the store all have different stories and lives to them and are either recycled, made by local artisans, or give back to a particular community in some way. Awesome. One of my favorite places in Babylon Village. Really friendly safe, always super helpful. Every time I go there for a gift they show me new merchandise and it's usually something that i like better. Always get my Alex and Ani bracelets here. They have a really good selection and make it convenient if you need to exchange or return. I've been using their services for a long time and the entire staff is super BUT there is a new massage therapist named Kristin that is extraordinarily talented. As an avid equestrian I've sustained my fair share of broken bones and bruises. Sustained a full shoulder replacement that left me compromised on the right side and suffered a severe hematoma-lower back injury. Both problems caused severe damage. I still ride my horse but with physical limitations until I was treated by Kristin. Booked two sessions and I'm back to riding like an athlete. I will most definitely be visiting HA again very soon and can return to more enjoyable horse back riding on my pony... read more

She listened and followed through with all the pains and aches I get from my job and being physically active. Highly recommend her for a full body massage. Please DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! I purchased a FAKE amber teething necklace for my baby here and when I notified the owner she was nothing but rude! No apologies or anything.... The acupuncture offering (& singular yelp characterization) surprised me, but they do have a spread of vitamins, at prices to which I'm not keen. Babylon Village is overflowing with obese frequenters, a curious paradox considering all the places like this, but I guess they couldn't possibly be a detrimental presence in the 'hood. I got the uppity "what I don't know is not worth knowing" essence to it from the employee whom I asked about a supplement, and nothing thrilled me, and do I really need your boutique OTC drugs? I went to Healthy Alternatives last night because my husband had gotten me another gift certificate for an hour and a half massage that he was on me to utilize. I called earlier in the day asking if they had any appointments available for the day, making it a point to inform them of my gift certificate for the hour and a half massage that I've been meaning to use for awhile. I was told they can get me in for 7:15 that evening. At the conclusion of my massage, I realize that I was only given an hour massage. I figured that the therapist was unaware that it was intended to be an hour and a half. I informed the front desk of the mix up and they said that I never informed the receptionist that it was an hour and a half and they never would have made the appointment for 7:15 because they close at 8. They also informed me that they would be taking $85 off of my gift certificate, leaving me with only $35 left on it. I asked how much it is for a 30 minute massage (so that I could get the remainder of my hour and a half massage at a later date), and I was told that it's $50. I was upset that I wouldn't be getting the hour and a half massage that my husband paid for, so the woman at the register called the owner. This woman had a snippy tone from the beginning of the conversation, telling me that there was nothing she could do. That the gift certificate was for a dollar amount, not a service (although it did say both $120 and hour and a half massage on my certificate). She said that they wouldn't have had time for an hour and a half and that their hours are clearly stated. (Meanwhile they made the appointment for 7:15, so it would be after their supposed closing hours even if it was for only an hour. This gave me the impression that they just stop taking appointments at 8pm). I told her that the appointment shouldn't have been made if they couldn't accommodate the service that I had a certificate for. Her response was that they were "just concerned about getting me an appointment". So, they were more concerned with getting me in the door, than giving me what was already paid for. We went around in circles a few times when it became quite clear that I wouldn't be getting what my husband paid for. I told her that this was bad business and that I wouldn't be returning for any future services. Her only response was "I'm sorry to hear that". My family was a fan of this establishment due to the convenient location. My mother and Aunt were fans of the little shop with unique (although pricey) trinkets. My husband had gone a few times himself and gotten me and some family members gift certificates. Needless to say, I've informed my family and friends of my latest experience, and they were shocked. Their unwillingness to fix what could have been an honest mistake on their receptionists part has lost them a lifetime of business from my family and I. read more

The few times I went there, although the facials were just ok, they seem to just want to push whatever product they are trying to push for the month and and two times now when I wanted the oxygen facial (after having one and knowing the difference) I was pursuaded not to get the oxygen facial and try the theravine (which the new one is $20 more). I was not happy and preferred the oxygen facial and when I contacted the owner she never even said she was sorry and outright lied and said I told the masseuse that I did not like the oxygen facial (why would I come back two weeks later for another one?????) never going back there again and they just lost a good customer. I am a customer care devotee...so if a business is remiss or negligent in this aspect of running their enterprise, I shop elsewhere. I drove all the way over to this location Saturday 12/26, the morning after Christmas. The sign on the door stated the store opened at 9:00AM. I arrived at 10:12AM and the place was clearly closed. There was no notice as to a change in schedule or any special hours due to the holiday. As I waited to see if someone would show up to open, several other cusomers came by and were clearly confused and annoyed at the situation. I called the number listed for the shop and a recorded message did nothing more than say the store was open 7 days a week. Again, no mention of any change in hours. So, clearly, though this is a service oriented business, service is not what they are about. This shop was recommended by a friend who asked to be updated on my shopping experience. Clearly, I will not be offering a positive account. I will be taking my business to a place where the customer comes first..period! read more
