Their Groupon is a scam. Despite the fact that fine print on the groupon says that the only black out date for the groupon is Sundays, they only offer appointments on M, W or F from 10 am - 5 pm. It's one thing to offer your services at extremely limited times (after all it's your business, you can run it how you would like), but it's entirely other thing to conceal that information from consumers who are conned into purchasing the groupon under the premise that they could make the appointment Monday through Saturday read more

I bought a Groupon to try this place out since I was looking for a massage place and this was convenient. Most reviews on Groupon were positive so I wasn't too apprehensive. They had weekend appointments for me which was great. The "paperwork" was a simple one sheet questionnaire. My massage was nice the masseuse was genuine and sweet concerned for and about my comfort and experience. She didn't talk too much during the massage and spoke to me about options for my pain management. I would and will be going back. read more

Serenity Source was highly recommended by two of my best friends. I had an excellent experience from the time i walked in 'till the time I walked out! The receptionist was extremely friendly and informative. The layout of the place is cool, clean and very relaxing and David my masseuse for the massage was amazing. the groupon is a joke,or a scam..they will make you jump through hooops,then make you show up,tell you they have no therapist,be rude,and not honor the groupon.my girlfriend bought me a massage here with groupon.they kept changing it,telling her she didnt read the fine print...very shady place.do not waste your money here...go someplace good this is a scam place.they made us both come in for some strange reason,after she paid,then when we did,told us they dont have a therapist here.complete waste of time and money. read more

The massage I received helped my back muscles relax and manage pain from my fibromyalgia. The reason I only give 3 stars is due to the casual experience I received from my massage therapist. She asked me questions about my personal life, which in any other setting I would be okay with, but it's hard to relax while trying to think of replies. I might sound too harsh, but I'm used to a strictly professional spa where all massage therapists are dressed in their designated work clothes. It was a clean room however and the music was relaxing. I just wish I was able to be relaxed my entire experience rather than once conversation was ended. read more

I have a massage at least once a month. This place is very close to my home, so I figured I would give it a try. The people who work there talked through the massage so loud, it was impossible to relax. At checkout, there was no one to be found. I waited 10 minutes for someone to check me out. My masseuse, Chris, would have been great if I was there for a deep, deep tissue massage. Unfortunately , I wasn't. He never once asked about the pressure, if I was comfortable, etc. I asked him 4 times to go lighter, which he would do for about 5 minutes and then revert back to the deep tissue. When I came to Serenity Source, I immediately felt at home. The office was cozy, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Because the office accepts my insurance, I was able to receive care from the chiropractor, physical therapist, and receive a massage. The doctors seemed to really care about me, and we discussed a care plan for managing my back pain. The massage was one of the best I've ever had. My daughter purchased me a groupon for Serenity Source. I get there 10 minutes before my appt. The woman at the desk asks if I received her email. I said no. she said she tried calling but I never got a call. She said I cant use the groupon because I was there in April on my groupon which I purchased. I said it was a gift and my daughter didn't know I was there before. The owner Diane insisted its for new clients only and that she wouldn't honor it. I said most places have a waiting period. she said I need to leave and physically pushed me out the door. Diane the owner threatened me and was very nasty. I told her she has poor managerial skills. She should have honored the groupon. When I asked how to get a refund she said that was my problem and she threatened to call the cops. I would never recommend such a poor tasting business to anyone for a massage. I told her you lost me as a customer and she didn't even care. What kind of person runs a business like that! I feel she could have worked something out with me. let me pay groupon price like other places have done, given me half price or something to satisfy the customer.
