He wanted to take everything off, but I asked him to please just do a fill and file, and he did!! He gave me beautiful, short, rounded nails with many coats of baked gel pale pink polish. I was delighted. While this took much longer than usual, I still had plenty of time to get to Amityville, so I got a basic pedicure, too. The pedicure was also great. No complaints at all. While it was more expensive than most for the gel polish, that's probably because my nails were in such horrible shape from the chipping, dye, etc. I was also happy to see water and nail drying spray, which I used on my toes. It's a clean, busy place. All the nail stations were busy when I arrived. Definitely make an appointment. They also offer other services, although I didn't read the list. I am thrilled to have found a nail place, and really don't mind driving to Patchogue, because I can get other stuff done there too, like get gas at Costco.

Her name is Delilah. Truthfully she needs to be the head nail technician there (even though I haven't had anyone else) she really sealed my experience. I will never go anywhere else going forward nor use anyone else. The main thing amongst others was that she was SO knowledgeable and patient with me about the different services they had and that she made it clear the choice was mine (did not push any expensive options on me like most nail salons do). Thank you so much for having her apart of your staff and for being so close to my job where I could even go on my lunch break or right after work. Oh and her work by the way is so clean and neat as you can tell by the photo. I will be telling and insisting everyone I know go to this salon and use Delilah specifically. I am beyond upset after my experience here. I went in hoping for a relaxing head spa, but this was a nightmare. The entire time, the water was scorching hot and kept pouring into my mouth and up my nose. The service was completely unhygienic--they touched my face without gloves, and the shampoo used smelled and felt exactly like Dawn dish soap. They even rubbed it right into my eyelids. They clearly had zero training; instead of a massage, it was just aggressive, painful scrubbing the entire time. They were yanking my hair with a full grip and literally punching my head, arms, neck, and back with their fists. I have had many spa services in my life, and this was the worst by far. I left with my head throbbing, sore to the touch, and a massive headache. On top of that, they walked in on me while I was changing even after I said I wasn't ready, and they spent half the time just cleaning the sink instead of doing the service. I wasted my time and money and am in so much pain. This place needs to be looked at by the State Board of Cosmetology or whoever is in charge of regulating spa salons and massage services, because they clearly aren't trained or sanitary.
