I always show up on time to my appointments. I thought my appointment was for 11:15. I arrived and nobody mentioned to me that I was late or anything and they just cut my massage short. When I went to checkout I said she just did the express massage it's okay but if you can change it so I just pay for that and they told me I was late and had to pay for the full service. I was honestly shocked because I truly had no idea I was late. They claimed they called and left me a voicemail at 11 but they did not, I live 5 mins away I would have ran there if I got that call. Only confirmation I received was 3 days before the service. I used to work in the service industry and I just feel I should have been told I was late and maybe offered to move my appt. Massages aren't cheap. It's not easy to get time away from my baby and I'm super uncomfortable being pregnant. I just don't think it was fair that I was charged full price.

I just finished my third massage at B-Well Massage Therapy in West Islip. I came to them as part of…read moremy rehabilitation from reconstructive foot surgery. I had previously used a different Massage Therapist after a prior surgical procedure, but was looking for a different experience. From my first contact (by phone) with the team at B-Well, I knew that this would be a good match for me. At my first appointment, I met Kris, the owner at B-Well, who greeted me warmly and put me at ease. She is pleasant and clearly concerned about providing a good therapy experience for her clients and for her staff. She spoke with me about the massage experience and wanted to make sure that my treatments were helpful in my recovery. The waiting area is extremely clean and bright. The staff at the reception desk (when Kris isn't the person there) are also welcoming and friendly. The treatment room is comfortable and relaxing. Even though the office is right on Montauk Highway, you don't hear road noise, there are sound machines to damper external noise distractions and the treatment bed is heated before you begin your session. Truly nice touches. My therapist, Tasha, is excellent! While the therapist at my last massage facility was good, Tasha is so much more attentive and attuned to my treatment. We speak prior to each treatment to discuss any issues that I have at that particular time so that she can focus on those area(s) during the session. During each session Tasha "checks in" with me to make sure that I am comfortable and that her treatment is helpful. She has strong hands, the pressure she applies is firm but never painful - even when focusing on the area where the surgery was. During my treatment she is engaging and a truly interesting person to talk with. That said, during both sessions I've had with Tasha, there are times where I was so relaxed that I felt myself falling asleep. Truly excellent! I appreciate that my insurance covers medical massage but I have no doubt that I'll continue with B-Well Massage Therapy even after my insurance benefits end. Our masseuses Abby and Jackie were amazing. They were pleasant, thorough, and attentive. My husband surprised me with a couples massage and booked the "We Will Rock You" package. The couple's suite was super clean. A dimly lit room that had two perfectly laid out heated beds, an electric fireplace, and two elegant boxes to place our clothes inside. I loved the music that was lightly playing in the background. The instrumentals created a warm and relaxing environment. It felt as though our 90-minute session flew by, but really, I don't think we would've ever wanted it to end. It was that good! Rose-scented facial mist, Hot Stone Massage, everything was wonderful. We appreciated being asked "if the pressure and the temperature of the rocks were ok", We held the most tension in our neck & back, so they focused on those areas a lot to work out the knots. Wave-like motions. Long strokes, from the starting point all the way to the extremities. Often, the movement seemed like it was synchronized with the music lol! In terms of the booking, this place is very accommodating and responsive. I had many questions on the various couples packages. They answered what they could immediately and called me back (had in person customers) to finish responding to my questions. I called 13 days in advance to try to schedule the visit for my wife's actual birthday (a Sunday). They only had availability on the Saturday for that same weekend so i booked. The weekend before my appointment, they called to say they were able to move my appointment to the Sunday for my wife's actual birthday. I declined as we already scheduled other plans for the Sunday, but i did express my gratitude for them trying to accommodate the special occasion. For the spa visit, they were welcoming when we arrive and the massage specialists we had were excellent. They confirmed any body areas that needed special attention and then the appropriate amount of pressure. My wife also said she enjoyed her massage. It was a very good experience. We had our own room and after everything was done the package also included champagne and chocolates so we sat and had those at the end before we left the room. We had a very good experience and would definately recommend this place.

She clearly has a lot of experience with medical massage. My massage began on my back. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath of the aromatherapy oil and I immediately relaxed.
