Ruth is a very caring, dedicated wellness disciple and massage practitioner. My session was personalized, and she really took the time to explain her ethos and her approach to wellness and massage. She also listened to me and my concerns about my chronic sources of pain. Most importantly, she focused on those areas during the massage. I was so grateful to receive the care and consideration I did. So much so, that I knew I would have to purchase a massage for my husband in addition to future sessions for myself! I ended up with the man which I was okay with enough but the woman translated to the man that I like it on the softer side. She said okay and to let him know if I need him to go softer. A little into the massage it was still way too rough where I had to hold my breath at some points because I was in so much pain. I told him to go softer and I'm not sure if it's a language barrier but I felt like it was even harder. I had to cut my massage short because I couldn't just lay there in pain anymore and the pain was getting to be too much, esp after I already told him I need him to go softer. After I cut the massage and told him I'm finished he kept massaging my legs until I kept saying I'm done and this is over about two or three times. I went to pay for the full massage and the receptionist had the audacity to ask me to tip him. I am a great tipper but I did not feel it was required if I cut my massage short and I knew I was going to be in pain the next day. The first girl came out and apologized and said I did not need to tip because she knew I was not okay with the service. I was not going to write a review but I am waking up the next day in pain I definitely did not have before I went in there. Overall I had a very good experience at this location but there were some concerns…read more I purchased the Men's Facial with the DIAMONDGLOW upgrade: Probably the best facial treatment I have experienced. The DIAMONDGLOW upgrade was worth the money in my opinion. They used a hose to gently scrub my face and extract the bad while infusing the good. Whatever it did, it was fabulous. Left there feeling refreshed, pampered, and not overly red nor sore like some other treatments in the past. My technician, Diane was professional, informative, and thorough. Highly recommend booking her. Now for my concern...The two women at the front desk that I interacted with were really nice and helpful. So my personal interactions were very pleasant. There was however a young lady with braids at the desk that was borderline aggressive and unprofessional with the customers she helped over the phone. She was also the same way with her coworkers. Her tone and loudness made me a little uncomfortable sitting there listening to the tension. When you spend this kind of money to pamper yourself, the last thing you want is to feel like you are bothering the workers to book an appointment.
