This was THE best donut I have ever had in my life!…read more I was surprised with the Pumpkin Cheesecake donut, and the second I took a bite, my mouth literally dropped. It was SO good! The donut was perfectly moist, the pumpkin purée and cheesecake topping tasted incredibly fresh, and all the flavors came together perfectly. It was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating it long enough to even take a proper picture! I also tried their Vegan Cookies and Crème donut, and it was just as delicious. The chocolate was so rich, and the frosting on top was a perfect balance. You can genuinely tell these donuts are made with care and attention to detail. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. And the donut holes pack a punch! 10/10 -- I would absolutely have these again!

Their vanilla bean latte with almond milk was really good, and my husband LOVES the cookies & cream cake donut, which is currently their vegan and gluten-free flavor. He's a huge chocolate person and still talks about that donut lol. It's also nice to find an option like that because vegan and gluten-free donuts aren't always easy to find around Orlando. As for the regular donuts, nothing has really blown me away yet. The glazed donut was good, and I really enjoyed the cake donut holes. The strawberry shortcake sounded much more exciting than it tasted. IMO, it was basically a strawberry glazed donut. I also tried the tiramisu donut and didn't care for it. Between the mascarpone, cocoa powder, and everything else going on, it was a bit much, while somehow still tasting dry. I also tried the breakfast croissant with egg and cheese. The croissant itself was fine, but the baked egg was really soft and soggy, which I didn't enjoy. Hospitality was great when I was able to reach someone. I called with questions about the vegan donut and allergens. The employee was friendly, helpful, and answered all of my questions. Both Uber Eats orders were also correct. My biggest hesitation is the value. The prices felt a bit steep, especially when I didn't love most of the donuts I tried. Would I order again? Yes, but probably for a latte, the cake donut holes, and my husband's vegan/GF donut. I wouldn't necessarily drive across Orlando specifically for it, but if we were already on that side of town, I'd stop in.

We each picked a different flavor so we could try as many as possible, and honestly, not a single one disappointed. We ended up going back for seconds because they were that good. My personal favorites were the churro, cookie butter, classic glaze, and the matcha Oreo. Those were unreal. But everyone had their own top pick, which just goes to show how solid the whole menu is. The donuts are light, chewy, and the flavors are bold without being overpowering. And visually? Absolutely beautiful. You can tell care goes into each one. I'm so sad I don't live in Orlando because I would be here way too often. This spot is officially on my must-visit list anytime I'm in town. Definitely worth the hype.

Best of all, they're not overly sweet so I can usually eat more of them. And they're great for sharing -- each individual bubble can be ripped and shared, so I love bringing these to parties. I've been a fan of Dochi since their OG East End location and am even more in love with the Colonial location since it's closer to my house. My favorite flavor is their Churro and Matcha Oreo -- literally can't get enough. The donuts are made fresh every day. Make sure to grab them early because once they're sold out, they close shop!

I remembered Donut King is open late (until 9:00pm today), and I am glad I took a longer drive. I didn't know they were giving away a free donut today. I truly felt blessed (lol). I went in for a glazed twist donut that's combined with regular Donut dough and chocolate dough. Walking out with a free vanilla iced donut was a great way to celebrate National Donut Day. While it was obvious they were VISITED today, and the plaza isn't the cutest, the Donut quality is great, and the customer service I received today was PHENOMENAL. The gentleman with the bandana was extremely kind.

Consistent in quality like a blue chip stock that you hold onto for 35 years. Ambiance is great. Storefront is in a dingy strip mall, but inside is a wall of donuts that looks like the Great Wall of China in donut form. A formidable display of deliciousness that will make your day better from the very start. Service is equally as formidable. There are always a ton of people in line, but they serve their way through them very quickly and efficiently. Very nice folks, and they always seem to have everything in stock. The donuts themselves are the best part. Soft, airy, topped with the perfect amount of toppings, filled with the perfect amount of fillings, and there are a few truly unique offerings that are very intriguing. You just can't go wrong. Overall, other gourmet offerings are out there, and they're pretty good, too, but Donut King is my original, and quite frankly, if I'm driving out to the coast for a long day of birding, I would pick the King over any of those other places anyway,

It's the kind of place where you walk in thinking you'll "just get one thing" and somehow walk out with a box full of buns because having restraint here is really hard. I tried the golden onion bun, and it was so soft, fluffy, and delicious. I especially loved the sweet-and-savory combination -- it has that perfect balance that makes you want to keep going back for another bite. Highly recommend stopping by if you enjoy sweet and savory flavors, fluffy baked goods, and definitely take advantage of their happy hour deal .

Their desserts are ok, but their tea is amazing, and the matcha and coffee and great as well. Haven't had the ramen but it's coming up. This may be more of a cultural proximity, but I wholeheartedly appreciated the speediness, straightforwardness, and helpfulness in their service. Some of the other cafed I've been to with a similar concept are clumsy, bad at fulfilling orders, and overly pushy with tips and up selling. Bakery 1908 gave me what I wanted, how I wanted it, as I wanted one. Actually, the missing star is because of the actual quality of the bakery. It may be because of the time of the day (they had a buy two get one free offer), but their desserts lacked some filling/flavor. Nothing that accompanying them with a good drink wouldn't solve. I will give them many more tries, as they became my favorite of the bunch.

There was vinyl playing in the corner with a huge collection of records. You could also see their full donut lineup on display. We were seated right away and pretty much already knew what we wanted to eat. My husband and I always share the pit sampler which comes with your choice of 3 meats and one side item -- plenty of food for two people. We got sliced brisket, chopped brisket, and the chorizo link with brussels sprouts. Their sprouts are incredible -- don't skip them! They did have a highchair and kids menu available for my toddler which was nice. I also got one of their mocktails and my husband got their seasonal "Mystery Inc." donut which he really enjoyed. Friends, this place is proof that compromise can be beautiful. Sweet meets spicy meets (meats?) savory. Every bite felt like someone dared a pitmaster and a pastry chef to create the ultimate brunch, and somehow they pulled it off. The only drawback? Ventilation. It's stuffy inside. Plan on smelling like a smoky glazed donut the rest of the day. PS. If anyone wants to bring this concept to KC, I'd like to be considered an early investor. Or at the very least, a highly enthusiastic taste tester. Holy hell. Brunch of champions.
