Pinto bean tacos on corn tortillas
    Molly E.

I was grateful to find that there were affordable plant-based options at the quick service and grab and go at centertown market during my stay at Caribbean Beach resort. I tried the pinto bean tacos on corn tortillas, which came with a side of cilantro rice, as well as the grab and go curry chickpea salad. I loved the cilantro rice but I personally wouldn't get the pinto bean tacos again. Something was bitter in them and not my preference. I loved the curry chickpea salad and wish that it was available to order at the counter so that I could have it over greens, instead of only as the grab and go. It comes with a side of pita chips but because they are in the same container with the salad, they were a mix of soft and hard and ended up in the trash. A chef in the kitchen was nice enough to give me a side of romaine that I enjoyed with this meal!

Cuban Sandwich (9/10) with Cuban Fries (10/10)

We tried a fair amount of food from here on out trip this Mothers Day 2025. The Fish Tacos and the Hot Cuban Sandwich with the side of Cuban fries were our favorites! The fish tacos had fantastic flavor, the fish tastes fresh and so did the slaw and crema on top! The Cuban fries were delicious with the mustard Swiss cheese sauce and the bits of pickles and ham! Another good highlight was the meat platter they had! It has sausage, chicken and ribs with a mango coleslaw and seasonal veggies with a roll and fried yuca. The fried yuca was old and the ribs were so cheap HOWEVER the chicken was amazing! It was a lemon marinated chicken and the flavor was amazing...I couldn't get enough. And the sausage was so flavorful with a nice slight spice. The mango coleslaw wasn't overpowering with sweetness from the mango and the veggies were so fresh and tasty. However the rest was really on and off. They had a great fresh deli sandwich with turkey and Gouda cheese with bbq mayo and fresh veggie slaw but the second time I got it, the cheese had gotten hard from them pre making the sandwiches in the morning and them just sitting out. The mango bbq pulled pork sandwich was just like a regular cheap pulled pork sandwich you can get anywhere...no mango flavor what so ever and the coleslaw tasted like regular coleslaw. The bacon, egg and cheese bagel for breakfast was okay, it was only $6.99 so it was worth the price! We shared it and it was enough until lunch after we checked out. The chicken tenders are also normally great on property and we found these to be weirdly stringy and just seemed like they weren't the same. Not sure if maybe Disney is changing to someone different for their chicken tenders or if it's just this resort but meh, the ones at like Cosmic Rays for example are always the same and good!

Quick food for the kids before heading out to the parks. They have the Mickey Mouse Pancakes. Grab a quick little something, but save your adult appetite for the goodies in the parks. Had the bagel breakfast sandwich and it was fine. A lot of stuff is premade and the Mickey Mouse pancakes were dried out, but the little ones didn't care much.

I feel like this spot is the hidden gem of Disney quick service food. The menu is really unique compared to basic park fare and they have way more healthy options. There's plenty of seating and it's a great way to get a quick meal at the Caribbean Beach Resort. I got the chicken bowl and a mini key lime pie. To drink, I got a canned blood orange wine spritz. The chicken was tender and well seasoned with jerk spice. The rice, beans, and pickled veggies made it balanced and filling. The mini pie was super cute and rich. I was impressed with the whole experience. If you're staying here or took the gondola over from Epcot, this is a great spot to cool off and eat.

Ham and cheese omelette and hash browns

On our last morning at Disney, we didn't have to be anywhere until after 10 or so, so we took the skyliner from Pop Century to Caribbean Beach for breakfast. My friend was super excited about the avocado toast, and when it arrived, I can absolutely see why! It was LOADED! I ordered a ham and cheese omelet that was less than stellar, but was a pretty large serving. It looked like it was kept under the heat lamp for about 30 minutes with the cheese nearly hardened. It came with a side of hashbrowns that were pretty good. I didn't really have a chance to think about what i wanted, so I probably would have chosen something else. I really liked the atmosphere and everyone was exceptionally friendly. You may have to walk a bit to get to the location, but since Caribbean is a pretty sprawling resort, we excepted this. If it's your thing, get the avocado toast... i wish i had!

    Chicken bowl

Came here for rushed take-out order so that we'd have a touch of Disney magic with us on our flight back home to the West Coast. We ordered the chicken bowl and fried yucca bowl with shrimp. Chicken bowl - "Jerk Chicken served over Rice and Beans with a side of Tomato and Cucumber Salad topped with Cilantro-Lime Tofu Crema and Pickled Vegetable Slaw." Fried yucca bowl - "Fried Yucca topped with Black Beans, Pico de Gallo, and Cotija with choice of protein" (we chose shrimp) Both portions were huge. I don't think I've ever had an instance where the menu picture of the food item did not do justice to what we actually got. Looking at the chicken bowl picture, we expected a small bowl with bits of chicken kind of like Chipotle style. Instead, we got 2 big slabs of chicken that had to be chiseled at with a knife. The fried yucca bowl had a lot of shrimp and a lot of yucca. Flavors were on point. Although, of note the jerk chicken didn't taste like jerk chicken; it just tasted like well seasoned chicken. Really satiated our hunger when we were waiting at the gate to board our flight. Definitely got a lot of head turns and probably made nearby passengers very hungry.

Restaurant is located inside the resort and convenient for food and drinks. Service - It wasn't that great as the lines to order got long, getting tables cleaned took long, and you didn't get that checking up on. Food - Portions are very smalls, Food is just whatevers without any great taste to it, and presentation isn't there. Prices - In the higher side for what you get. Seating - Its not to bad as its a decent size place. Overall it's not worth going here unless you need something quick and not trying to leave the resort.

(1/13/2024) went to meet some old friends in town who were visiting the theme parks. Just to make it easy (especially for the kids), met for dinner at their resort's food court, the Centertown Market at the Caribbean Beach Resort. It was pretty good for a food court. The options were interesting and varied enough for even those who consider themselves to be mildly adventurous. I had the Mixed Grill, of course, so I could try a little of many things. Not sure I'd say much if it was "Caribbean," but it was a fairly tasty plate of food, minus the obviously very wilty, and long-held slaw, which was well past its prime. The chicken was moist, skin a little rubbery, but fairly well-seasoned. Pork ribs were fall off the bone, had a spiced (not spicy hot, but seasoned) dry rub napped with a sweet Rum Mango BBQ sauce. Fried yuca cubes were like every other you've had anywhere and probably the most tropical thing on the plate. The Bubbles of the Sea special Little Mermaid drink was eye-catching. The green apple popping boba were fun and zippy, the rest was fruit-flavored sugar. If you're staying at this resort, you could do worse for a quick-service in-house meal.

    Open face omelette
    Mike Z.

This is different than most other resort quick service places. Here you order from a single line, they give you a restaurant pager and pick up your food when it is ready. Besides that the food is standard resort quick service. Can't go wrong with the bounty platter. But the open face omelette was less than ok, tastes like it was pre-made and just heated up when ordered, not sure why there was arugula on top of it, was out of place.

If you don't already know about the ability to purchase a mug that you can use for unlimited refills during your entire stay this is a must purchase. It is 18.99 and you can get it here.Have been to Disney many times and the counter person did not mention this option and tries to sell me a regular drink for $3.99. This place is great for a quick meal , recommend the Jamaican jerk pizza and the pepperoni pizza. The burgers are ok and a nice option.

    Omelet
    Amy T.

Breakfast ends at 11. We did our order at 10:54. We ordered the Bounty Platter, Ham and Cheese Omelet, Cafe Latte, Mr Pibb, and a tropical juice. The platter should now be called a bowl. It's easier to eat it all together now though. Food is touching if that is an issue for you. The juice is actually a non-alcoholic frozen colada. LOL. I didn't realize that. Still delicious. Portions are smaller than a few years ago but still decent. Prices are typical for a resort dining area. Mobile ordering makes things so much faster. There were plenty of seats.

    beef and chorizo burger
    Corey N.

We were supposed to eat at Sebastian's Bistro. Told when we called that they'd accept walk-ins and we were fine. Told by hostess that they were reservations only. I knew we were in for a bad time in the food court after having tried the prison grade breakfast, but were left little option with a hungry toddler. Attached photo of the beef and chorizo burger. Lettuce black around the edges, wilted, shatters upon touch. Bun stale and hard as a hockey puck. We couldn't figure out what vegetable the chips were cut from, but hard, stale, and burnt. The the deep redness I might forgive. I was going to power through it. I know chorizo can be reddish when cooked. As I got to the middle.. that became questionable, too.

    Centertown Market Tiny Orange
    Bruni S.

Veggie chips & mixed fruit are gone as kid's meal options! This restaurant now gives a pathetic, hard to peel tiny orange that taste awful instead of the mixed fruit which was a kid favorite. I cannot believe Disney dining would treat kids like this and rip-off parents with this tiny orange.

Maybe it's because I'm older now, but I find the whole experience much more exhausting than I remember. It's incredibly hot, and it feels like everything has been engineered around getting you to spend money. Want to sit down somewhere? It seems like you need to be eating, drinking, shopping, or otherwise spending money to have access to a comfortable place to sit. Sometimes I just want to sit for a few minutes, enjoy the scenery, people-watch, and take a break without having to buy something. I don't care what age you are. Sometimes you just need somewhere to sit. The food was decent, but honestly, I can find good food in plenty of other places without having to navigate the whole parking situation, walk through security, and then spend money every time I turn around. The constant retail focus and pressure to spend money just doesn't create a particularly relaxed environment for me anymore. What's funny is that I remember coming here when I was 27 and being completely blown away by it. Back then, I thought Downtown Disney was incredible. I even spent a few nights going to the clubs, and those nights were absolutely epic and fun. I have some great memories from that time. But today, the experience feels different to me. Everything seems so carefully designed to extract another dollar from you that it starts to feel almost mercenary. There's nothing wrong with a business wanting to make money, but when the commercial aspect becomes so noticeable that it affects your ability to simply relax and enjoy being there, it changes the experience. I think I've reached a point where I'd rather spend my time somewhere with a lower-stress atmosphere. I want to go somewhere, walk around, enjoy the scenery, sit down when I feel like it, and have a good time without constantly feeling like every basic comfort comes with a price tag. Maybe it's me getting older. Maybe it's Disney Springs changing. Maybe it's both. But these days, I'd rather spend my money somewhere that makes me feel like a guest instead of a walking wallet.

If you're at Disney's Animation Resort, Landscape of Flavors has something sure to satisfy everyone and is pretty reasonably priced in a casual atmosphere with fun Disney theming the kids are sure to love! Service is quick and friendly and ambiance is nice sticking with the art of animation theme with little mermaid & Nemo aquatic theming. The lights look like coral, there's Little Mermaid and Nemo aquatic paintings on the walls. The restaurant is closest to the Nemo themed area of the park so that is on par for the theming. There's a giant connect 4 for kids to play with, windows looking onto the Nemo pool area, an arcade next door for kids, and a coloring room for kids next door too. The theming was nice but could have been more immersive to include theming on the tables. A lady came around giving Disney themed stickers to the kids! We got Stitch and Minnie Mouse! That included multiple visits to the Central Pantry whenever I needed a quick bite to eat at random times of the time prior to and during my conference. When I first walked into Central Pantry, I saw refrigerated areas with food options and drinks along with displays with sandwiches and other foods right there along with another display with bowls of cereal. They then had the Hot Eats section where you could order various items along with prepackaged items. You could place your order for hot items using a screen and then follow along for when it was being prepared and when it was ready for pickup based on a number you are assigned when placing your order. They had other displays with bags of chips, cookies, and other non-perishable bags of snacks. They then had the Sweet Spot with frozen yogurt, candy, cookies, and more. There were also gift items on display including bottles of wine and other alcohol with all sorts of snacks near the checkout. At checkout, you can have everything scanned and then pay for it all with regular payment options or charging items to your room. They give you a bag to take items to go and there are condiments outside the exit to the Central Pantry with plenty of seating nearby. During my first visit, I got a cold sandwich from the refrigerated section with some chips. During my second visit, I went to the Hot Eats section and ordered a breakfast sandwich with a bottle of orange juice. Both times, I took them up on bags for the ease of transporting items. I took advantage of the condiments for my sandwich but didn't need any for my breakfast sandwich the next day. While both of my visits were before the start of my conference, I didn't need to stop by during the conference itself; however, I certainly could have if I needed to due to the flexible hours. I love breakfast sandwiches. As we were sitting down deciding what to have I noticed the person seated next to us was having the breakfast sandwich and they said it wasn't that great so I passed. The first day I got the Grand Fiesta Breakfast with bacon. It also comes with crispy hash browns. Those were the best. So crispy. The bacon was crispy how I like it and it came with a generous pile that I shared with my husband. A stellar choice and lasted me till dinner. He ordered the Frittata Mexicana and said it lacked flavor. He added some hot sauce to give it a little kick. I was disappointed as I was thinking about ordering that the second day. The last two days we had the oatmeal. I believe it was $9 a bowl, expensive, but a healthy choice. After eating all those heavy meals in the park this was a good choice. It was a hearty portions, double the portion size we have at home. It was really good. I had blueberries, granola, and brown sugar on it. You can have as many toppings on it even though it say only pick 2. We did not have the refillable mugs and we didn't get any of the soft drinks. My husband got the standard coffee once and said it was the same coffee they have in the room and it's weak. To same money he just had the coffee in the room.

I sadly just realized that I have never reviewed Freddy's. I have been here so often that I…read moreassumed that I already had! Time to fix that oversight. Now this review has nothing to do with that my father's name was Freddy and that my mother's favorite treat was frozen custard. But those little tidbits of information don't hurt. The warm feeling that I get when I eat frozen custard reminiscent of enjoying it on the boardwalk with my mom is renewed at Freddy's not because of the ambience of the restaurant, but because of that same delicious taste that my mind still seems to remember from long ago that I have not found anywhere else before this. But I digress. Freddy's may look like your typical fast food restaurant, but it is anything but. I already loved it for the burgers, the french fries with their wonderful sauce, and of course, the custard but now they have a salad as well. Really fresh greens with my favorite burger on top as a garnish. Low-carb great taste and totally filling. But not so filling as to not leave room for that wonderful custard. On this particular visit, I did run into an issue which I will not lower my rating because of, but want people aware of so it does not happen to them. If you have a coupon for a discounted custard, and they ring in any other item after that, it will restore the custard to the full price on their register. I did not notice that and paid the full price. The manager did give me a card for a free custard next visit so they certainly took responsibility but just wanted people aware to keep an eye on that. In defense of the staff, I don't think they noticed either that it had occurred, so I did not allow that to detract from my impression of five star service from their pleasant, friendly and attentive staff Of course the custard is a star. It comes in all sorts of different ways to serve it. I tend to usually be a purist indeed, as a soft serve, but sometimes their specials are so exciting that I cannot resist. I have never tasted any of them that I did not find awesome. Their steakburgers should not be left as an afterthought. These are not like other fast food burgers; the meat is actually very tasty and because there's not any "proprietary" seasonings on it I even order an extra one so that I can sit outside with my puppy and she can enjoy it. It is small enough to not be unhealthy for her and big enough to be a satisfying snack. Its fat content does not make her ill like the typical fast food burger would. I personally like the fries and find the sauces to be quite good. Prices are more than reasonable and they have hours that make them convenient whenever you're hungry or craving that custard fix. I am a Freddy's fan and wish they would open one closer to where I live in Miami.

I had never heard of this establishment before, so when I drove past it for the first time a few…read moreweeks ago, I was intrigued. I went inside to order and eat. The resturant inside was very clean, and the employees working behind the counter were very nonchalant. I ended up ordering their grilled chicken sandwich combo with their famous skinny fries. My mom got the Freddy's Original double combo with a Turtle milkshake and onion rings. The sandwich portion was big. The chicken was very juicy and tasted alright. The fries, however, were not seasoned. I had to get a salt and pepper packet to season them. At that point, they were very good, tasty, and crispy! Overall, the meal was okay. It was nothing spectacular but also nothing terrible either. As for my mom, she wasn't very impressed with her hamburger. She said the portion size was good, but she would describe the hamburger itself as "lacy." She said it was okay, but since it took us 27 minutes to get here, she said Culver's was better in quality and closer. She was underwhelmed by the onion rings. She said it was more of the fried breading and barely any onion inside. However, she did enjoy her milkshake, but struggled to suck it up through the straw. It was enjoyable to try a new establishment, but it was just a mid experience for me.
