Big shop and a lot of selections and also the nice person. Was gonna shop a whole set of ski and was able to find the right ski binding and shoes. Unfortunately the poles selection is minimum.

Wouldn't make good on its free return policy, billed me for return shipping. Stick to zappos or something.

OMGGG..I can not rave enough about this place!!! Ever since a good friend recommended it to me…read moreyears ago, my fam and I have since come back for our EVERY snow need. PF Powder (aka P.F. McMullin Snowboard and Ski Co) is a cute small business ~ literally your one stop shop, specializing in all things ski & snowboard. It's located in Santa Ana in the deserted looking Edinger Business Park. They are definitely known for their discount prices on all winter/snow-related gear, outerwear, and accessories, as well as services like waxing, tuning, and rentals. When you walk in, the store is so neatly arranged and organized, it's super easy to find everything you are looking for. After coming here for so long, I legit just discovered that upstairs houses their "gently used" section, for those looking for an even more affordable option. The workers are super friendly, with a chill vibe. Everyone is knowledgeable & always willing you help you. My lil fam of 4 snowboards every year, so we have come here (year after year) to update our snow outfits, to googles, boots, snow socks, thermals, & beanies. You name it, they have it..AND we've bought it! Even when my kiddies wear younger..babies, we even got sledding/tubing gear here, so they could play in the snow. We really appreciate the affordable prices ~ ranging to discounted ones to more pricey name brands. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

They have multiple rows of snowboards to browse through, at least 5. Along with quite the selection of bindings and boots to choose from on their wall. Each sticker price is a package deal that includes boots and bindings. We chose a board that was $519. We opted to upgrade our gear, which they gave $120 credit towards boots and $100 towards bindings. They have enough variety to fit your budget that includes options from current and past season to choose from. Binding installation was also included in the package. Boots we chose were priced at $310 in store (online price $330) and bindings at $240 (online price $250). So we ended up paying $190 for the boots and $140 for the bindings. Our grand total came out to $928 with tax. Do the math and that comes out to a bang for your buck. We saved about $300 from the set we initially purchased at REI. Competitive prices and great customer service. I highly recommend stopping by :) pro tip: do some research on gear you are interested in before going, call in to check on brands and sizes you may be looking for, and try to come in on less busy hours like weekdays for the full experience.

Not super warm and welcoming either but if you know what you want, they have quite a selection and may carry things tha other places do not have. Don't expect low prices here. I know there is a REI in Arcadia but I rarely visit that area these days. A Friend recommended this location over the Arcadia one, as it is bigger and it was perfect because it happened to be on my route one day. I stopped by on a Friday afternoon and was able to return my online order quickly. The cashier was very kind and the return was quick. I never used the product, the sizing was just way off, even though I had followed the product's website video guide. When I visited, it just so happened to be Member Days so I took a look around. This location certainly has "everything." It feels rare to have a fully stocked store these days. Since I did not need anything at the moment, I plan on stopping by again in a few months when I have an idea of what to use my gift cards on. There were employees throughout the store and they often greeted me and asked if I needed help. Great customer service! There was also restrooms for customers to use. There was plenty of parking in shopping center and overall, had a great first experience.

It is generally clean, bright, and well organized, with plenty of sections to wander through and browse. That said, nothing here is really cheap. There are a lot of interesting and useful products, but the prices are high enough that I constantly find myself hunting for clearance items. It would be very easy to blow through a one thousand dollar gift card in a single visit. Thankfully, the local 20 percent off coupons help make purchases feel more reasonable. The staff appears to be made up mostly of high school and college age employees, and that shows in the customer service. It is not bad, just very young and a bit unpolished. Most employees seem concentrated in the shoe section or working the front registers, with limited presence elsewhere on the floor. The running shoe selection for adults is a definite plus, with plenty of options to choose from. Overall, it is not a terrible experience, but it is not a great one either. I will continue to shop here because it is one of the few places that reliably carries sporting goods, but it is more of a necessity than a destination.
