Place is LEGIT. OMG how did I not know Dreamruns exists in So OC. Went to them to rent snowboards and boots for kids, they had great selection. Staff is VERY knowledgeable , and if they don't have something, they refer you to local stores. Amazing ! read more

CLOSED MAYBE? Went to check it out but the website and phone number dont work anymore, last season I got a whole snowboard setup, service, vibe, and product knowledge was top notch but the notable part was the selection was wide enough so you could try everything out and dial it in!!! Love the interior of the store as it adds some individuality to it. I bought my full ski set up here and was even given a nice discount for shopping in store! Or perhaps it was because I bought the full ski set up? Either way, come here for all your snow goods. They're bound to have it all! read more

I've been pretty impressed with this place overall. As a skier, I feel like they cater more to snowboarders, but they definitely carry all the winter sports essentials. My 5 stars has to do with the service I received and their willingness to price match. We were leaving for Mammoth to ski last season, and I really wanted a Burton jacket I'd seen for 50% off at REI, but it wasn't going to ship in time for our trip. Turns out DreamRuns had it in stock, and when I called ahead, Cameron said he'd match the sale price at REI. TBH, I love REI but I was really happy to be able to spend my money with a local small business instead. Give these guys a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. read more

I have ordered a lot from Dreamruns lately and initially was very happy with their prices and selection. I am building a garage bike workshop and am building my first mountain bike, and I have ordered many of my parts from these guys. This week, however, I received an order which did not include 2 things I had paid for (disc brake levers). When I contacted customer service, they just told me "warehouse said it was in there", and that was it. Then they sent me a copy of the delivery notification. What?! Truly terrible read more

Hole in the wall location but great for what I needed for both a ski and snowboard tune up for the season. They offer a variety of top brands for snow sports and biking. The store itself is clean and well stocked. They did not have a technician available to adjust the bindings on my skis but suggested a nearby location. Staff are knowledgeable and we got what we needed done within a few days of dropping off our gear. read more

Ok... so I hadn't gone boarding in a while.... Like pre-Covid. So I find this place called DreamRuns on Yelp and give them a call about getting my board waxed and new edges. Dropped it off and waited a couple days, got a call when it was ready to go and they pointed out that the bindings could be an issue on the slopes since they look very old and worn. He told me about a sale that was going on for the last few left of some new clean bindings and said "Kinda got a feeling here... you might wanna think about new bindings... If you don't need them, just bring them back for a refund." So I was like ok sure, another guy just trying to upsale me, but he gave me a receipt and told me I'll have no issues asking for a refund so I felt all was good. Back of my mind I was like, pfft imma just return these bindings even though they were on sale since I probs don't need them. So I left them in the trunk. I get to Tahoe, drop my board down, put my foot onto the current bindings, proceeded to snap in AND THEY FREAKING SNAPPED RIGHT OFF!! Old Bindings broke right there! The Wizard at DreamRuns was right!! My trip would have been wrecked buying new bindings at mountain prices. DreamRuns is legit af y'all!! Will definitely be going back here for all my boarding needs! Last minute before going to the mountains tomorrow morning, I was looking for new boots and bindings after 10 years! I figured I'd splurge and try the new Burton Step On bindings and boots and noticed online that DreamRuns had some in stock in the OC. Never been to this shop before but was immediately impressed walking in at the selection they offered. Cameron helped me out and got me into Burton and DC boots which I ended up settling on the DC boots and Burton Genesis bindings. Everyone was super friendly, cute shop dog hanging out, and people were really helpful. I had an older Custom X board with older EST channels and hardware which at first didn't seem to fit the new bindings (meaning I would've had to buy a new board). Another team member came over and figured it out! Just the willingness to come over and help was extremely appreciated regardless of whether or not they solved the problem. Parking was easy, and I was in and out within 30 minutes. Looking to go back end of season to get more gear! read more

I happened to walk by this place while waiting for a nearby mechanic and I'm glad I did. This place has a great selection of snow gear and boards. I don't know much about bicycles, but they had a mountain bike section in the corner. Layout of the store makes everything easily accessible. They access their inventory through their system for sizes and then help you pull whatever you need. Edson helped me out today. He was friendly and offered great suggestions for the gear I was looking for. I'll definitely be recommending this place to everyone. Thanks! read more

Honestly, having worked in a surf/snowboard shop, I was expecting to get vibed, because I vibed people when I worked a similar job and it's generally a job prerequisite and it's common to get vibed at board sport shops. It's just part of it. That being said, the staff was friendly, helpful, made killer recommendations, and were accommodating and great with my oldest who is on the spectrum and was exploring the shop. Seriously the best MTB and snowboard shop in all of Southern California! I started mountain biking about 2 1/2 years ago and found them online when I was looking for getting protective gear. Went in and was so stoked to see the size of their showroom and the amount of gear they had in stock! They did an amazing job sizing me for pads, a helmet, gloves and clothing! I've been snowboarding for close to 30 years, and after a 7 year break, decided to get back into it and went in, got recommended the proper board based on my style of riding! Went back and grabbed a helmet and new bindings. They've always guided me in the right direction with anything I buy! Since then, I would never shop anywhere else for my MTB or Snowboarding needs! Quick turnaround times on both mountain bike and snowboard services makes them an one stop shop for all your needs! I can't thank the DreamRuns crew enough for being such great customer service based local business. Cannot recommend them enough! read more

I took my board here to get waxed and got it back broken. I took it back and the one guy got angry at me and accused me of bringing it in like that and the other held the one back. So they fixed the broken part. Then when i got to the mountain in canada I did some heli boarding. When I got dropped off at the top of the mountain I finally noticed DreamRuns put my bindings on at goofy foot when I'm a regular. With no tools with me I had to come back down in the helicopter. Such a total waste of money. Im so fucking mad at this company I will tell everyone I know to never come here. read more

The store is one of the elite distributors in Orange County. The owner is considering offering customers the opportunity to rent bikes in case you don't know what you want and want to ride it before you own it. That is the best part about the store. If you think you want an electronic bike here is where you can touch and ride them to be certain how it feels when you arr on it. Atmosphere: 4 stars. Place is a little crowded with bikes but it is clean. Service: 5 star. Management is very knowledgeable about the bikes and rules around them. Value: 5 stars. If I had bought one last year I could sell it used for what I paid it. With inflation it is cheaper to buy now. Quality: 5 star. he bikes top quality These two wheeled vehicles can get up to 28 mph and cover a distance of 40 miles depending on the road and if one is going up hill. If the store has one shortcoming it is that it sells out of its best bikes. They do, however, take pre-orders. They also do custom orders and alterations. I believe repairs as well. The owner, Andrew, is an electrical engineer and quite knowledgeable about the wiring and power supply. His wife is a lawyer, so his clear on the laws and freedoms about riding them in bike lanes and such. They can be recharged with a ordinary wall outlet. They have the potential to save a great deal of gasoline by using them for local errands and grocery shopping. The shop is clean and has some excellent sodas.

The socks were my husband's own socks, and the entire interaction felt rude, condescending, and completely inappropriate. They don't even sell the same brand socks at the store. Rather than providing customer service, the associate made him feel accused and uncomfortable while shopping. Customer service training should include basic professionalism and respect. I live up near MI & ordered burton snowboard boots ... wore them for less than an hour & my heel moved too much & i couldnt wear them, went to do a return .. after spendiing $200 ...they said since i wore them and dont have my tags or box, i cannot return used items and then threatened me that not only will i not get my return , but they will charge me an 80% restocking fee. Im single and bymyself and this is my first time trying stuff and i feel i was treated terribly . I will not reccomend this company , maybe if you live in the area, but not by online orders. Customer service was cold and rude. I understand about used things , but i wore them an hr & did not need to be threatened with a charge if i attempt to return them . Just poor quality of human treatment.. i did not have them very long & they still look brand new. They did not want to hear anything else from me. Its not like i waited a long time for the return or usesd them 5 or 6 times...only an hr...and it took over 2 weeks to get to me practically. Lame. read more

I ordered a snowboard deck from Dreamruns, it got to me with a bit of damage. It happens. There was no damage to the shipping box, it was packed very neatly and with care. I suspect the board got to them that way from the manufacturer. Evson, the Dreamruns store manager promptly called me back (within an hour!) to make it right and he did exactly that! He arranged an exchange at the manufacturers local store since it was Dreamruns last board in the size and shape I required! Top notch service! I highly recommend them for your snowboarding needs! Always come back to these guys working here when it comes to buying all my snowboards. I live in south Florida and always traveling each season to snowboard around the world. Instead of purchasing at my local shops or east coast I'd rather give these guys my bussiness because they're very helpful. I always ask for extra images if the gear in store and they always provide. Can a retailer succeed at both online and storefront sales? DreamRuns aims to find out. For now (winter), the retail store is focused on snowboarding, with an incredible inventory of boards, jackets & pants, boots, helmets, etc. I dropped-in to try some Scott and Giro MTB gear and Spencer checked inventory and retrieved it from the warehouse. The shop has a huge inventory, prices were very fair, and it's obvious these guys actually live and breathe bodyboarding--not just sell equipment. If you're into bodyboarding, this should be your first stop. I also noticed a couple of negative reviews complaining that inexpensive boards folded and the shop wouldn't replace them. As someone who's been around surfing and bodyboarding for a long time, that's not really how this works. Bodyboards come in a wide range of constructions and price points, from beginner models to high-performance boards with stringers and premium materials. The cheaper boards simply aren't designed to perform or last like higher-end models. That's a product choice, not a shop issue. No one expects a surf shop to replace a surfboard that gets broken in the waves, and bodyboards are no different. I'm a big believer in supporting local businesses, especially ones run by people who genuinely know their craft. 662 has earned a customer for life. We'll definitely be back.

About one year and half ago I bought a Trustmade e bike from powerhouse for $1,000. About three months ago the bike stopped working. I was unable to power the bike. I called Powerhouse and told them about the problem. I was more than happy to pay for the repair. They informed me that there was nothing they could do. They said I would have to contact the manufacturer, order the part that needed replacing and take it to a shop that does repairs to fix it. Basically it was my problem to deal with. I emailed the manufacturer numerous times. I got no response. I tried calling them at various numbers I found on the internet and I couldn't get a hold of anyone. I left messages and no one responded. So I basically bought a bike for $1,000 that lasted 18 months. Like I said the staff were friendly and the price was reasonable. But in retrospect I should have bought the bike from a store that offers some kind of support and help when things go wrong. If you buy a bike from here just know that if anything goes wrong you're on your own.
