*** MINT OREO ICE CREAM GOAT *** I got the Mint Oreo ice cream single scoop 10/10. It was only $6! Five dollars for the one gigantic scoop and one dollar for the waffle cone equals six !!! WHAT???!!! I haven't seen a price like that since I was a kid. The best Mint chocolate ice cream I've ever had in my life. It had crumbled Oreos and chocolate chunks in there. However, the Oreo and the chocolate chunks were very smooth and soft. I am not a fan of anything crunchy in my ice cream especially chocolate chips of any sort. I like everything in my ice cream to be very soft & smooth & melts without having to chew any hard bits of chocolate bits. This was absolutely incredibly perfect. I wanted to get an ice cream cone while I waited for my burger, which was made to order. I ordered the double plain hamburger. Their beef is really seasoned well, it tasted so good. This is definitely one of the best plain burgers you'll ever find especially for a meat that is very seasoned well. The burger took about seven minutes. It was super quick. Comes on in potato egg bun that is super soft and warm.. this burger just literally melts in your mouth. Their house sauce is fire. Definitely get the house sauce.
Stopped by on a lovely Sunday for some lunch and ice cream. No parking at the location, you have to park in the neighborhood near by. Walking in it is a bit small. But the customer service was amazing and lucky for us the food came out so fast. I got a cheeseburger. It was a little salty, I would have loved some tomatoes and lettuce but it was good. The bread was fab. I hubby loved the hotdog and the French fries were fresh! We got a great little table out front in the shade. I will say it is right on a road, so I was a bit nervous with my daughter, but it all worked out. After eating we got ice cream. I cannot tell you how incredible the young man at the counter was trying to help my girl pick a flavor. Awesome staff. Good food.
Habds down one of the best burgers in the twin cities. A little disappointed in the "fun bun" - more bread than ice cream.
This burger has been going viral in the Minneapolis community, but personally it did not make my top 10 list. I will agree it is an extremely reasonable price for a smash burger and fries, but I did not care for the specialty sauce or how it paired with the smashed patty. The fries were my favorite part of the meal! They had clearly had a lot of visitors prior to us, but the trashcans were overflowing and all the ketchups had run out. While the burger wasn't my favorite, they killed the ice cream game! The flavors are unique and so creamy! I will be back in the summer time for the ice cream -- fair warning, the only parking options were street parking on the next block down.
Been eating a lot of smash patty burgers lately and wanted to try theirs. Me and a date went just for burgers. They have ice cream and I tried some at Pig ate my pizza but today was all about burgers. I didnt see a parking lot, so parked on the street. Walked up and ordered. Fairly quick process. They have a patio so we ate outside there. I thought the burger was delicious, my date thought hers was plain but thats because they didnt put anything on it, you have to tell them what you want. Overall good experience for a smash patty burger. Not sure how much id go during the winter though cause its more of a pick up and go experience.
Ample free street parking on the side streets (not Lowry). When asked for my name and number (while ordering) I thought that was a sign the food would take a long time. However nope, ready in about 5mins. The fries, absolutely delicious, seasoned, and crispy; my favorite! The order is big enough to feel 2-3 people (along with their burgers). I got the Dream Burger, single patty. Thank goodness b/c after eating half my fries and and 1 bite of the burger, I was full. However, I pushed through and finished it off. The special sauce is good and has a slight kick. The burger is overall delicious, but the 1 downfall is given how saucy it is, things can get messy. Cut yours in half to minimize the mess. I didn't get any ice cream, but sampled the Pandan Coconut. It was okay, but not for me. Perhaps next time I'll try something else.
Stopped here on a Saturday night. Wasn't super busy when we first walked in but the line quickly formed and was a bit chaotic. Smaller space. Very small space. Most logical ice cream shops the line forms where the ice cream is and then moves down to the register. It was my first time here and I followed the 2 parties in front of me, moving to the ice cream. However the cashier started taking people's orders from the line while we were all waiting causing it to be more crowded up front. Plus people ordering food w/ ice cream or shakes were bumped ahead of us as well. So I guess know what you want before approaching the cashier, pay then wait for it. They have a few places to sit & eat outside but it was a bit busy. Anywho, didn't try the food as I don't eat beef/pork but I got the turtle cheesecake ice cream, it was good but I probably wouldn't go through all the hassle to go here again. Parking in this area is rough but doable, you will for sure have to walk a little bit.
This is such a fun little spot in NE. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which sets the tone right away. The flavors are really creative, which made it hard for me to choose, but I ultimately went with the Peanut Butter Cookies & Cream and the Strawberry Lemon Curd. The PB one was super chocolatey and rich, and the lemon curd had a really strong lemon flavor that worked so well with the strawberry. Both were delicious! They've got great outdoor seating that's perfect on a nice day. Inside is a little confusing layout-wise, but once you get your bearings it's not a big deal. Overall, this place nails it with fun flavors, great vibes, and awesome people. Definitely worth the stop.

The fries were even better on my return visit--perfectly crispy, with that zesty kick that makes them some of the best I've ever had. Now, the Dream Burger? It lives up to the name. Juicy, flavorful, and smothered in their special sauce (just the right amount, too). My only tiny wish? More pickles--but that's just me, I could eat them by the jar. I'll be sticking with this burger every time I go. So glad this gem is in my neighborhood. If you're thinking about trying it, go for it--you won't regret it. One of the best burgers I've ever had.
I had to come try their burger after I heard the reviews, didn't disappoint to be honest. I got a cheese burger and a ham burger. The fries were super crispy and perfectly salted. Then burger; I usually need some veggies on my burger and to rate it, but woahhh it was decent as hell. It was pretty busy but my burger came out really fast, I'll def be back
Tried Dream Creamery and really enjoyed it! The Dream Burger was absolutely delicious juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The fries were great too, crispy and well-seasoned. There wasn't a long wait, which made the whole experience even better. The only downside was the ice cream flavor selection not really my vibe this time. Also, it would be helpful if the bathroom had a hook or shelf to hang a bag or jacket. Small thing, but worth mentioning. Overall, I'd definitely go again just for that burger and fries alone!
An adorable local fast food place! It's pretty small, but we ate during a slower time so it was cozy. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I also appreciate that their prices are exactly as written--if it says $5, it comes out exactly $5. As an added bonus, the prices are reasonable compared to other similar ice cream/fast food places in the area. The fries were fresh and crispy, and the dream smash burger was incredible (albeit a little hard to eat due to its floppiness). The ice cream was decent; they didn't skip on the portion sizes. read more
Really good burgers at a decent price! The burgers were incredibly tender. $12 for a basket with fries for a single is a great deal and you add a patty for $3. The meat skirt was great on them. I also added bacon which was also incredibly tender. The cheese was really creamy and gooey too. I thought the patties could have used a touch more seasoning, but a minimal comment. They were meaty and delicious. The fries were battered fries, which I really like. And we're scaldingly hot out of the frier. They were really good. There is extremely limited inside seating...basically just a rail on the window. So in bad weather don't count on a spot inside. Plenty of benches outside and a patio though as long as the weather is good. The ice cream is also very good and competitively priced at $5 for a single scoop. Service is like a fast casual restaurant. They take your order and you pay and give your name and they bring it out to you. read more
I stopped at dream creamery last night for Minnesota Burger Week which features normally higher priced great burgers for only $10!! I drove around to find street parking and by the time I got there was already about thirty minutes til close and lines were still out the door. Its a tiny place and gets warm inside so it was nice they kept one of the doors open and made sure to take food orders while they could and clearly stated when the cut off was and who the last customer would be. The team was working super hard Xavier and Melody were out front tag teaming scooping ice cream, calling out orders, taking payment. I was impressed by how they kept it together on what looked like an overwhelming night. And I can only imagine how hard the kitchen staff worked. On to the food: this was my first time visiting I like that they have so many unique ice cream flavors I didn't sample any ice cream before ordering but got the lemon blueberry pound cake. It was good but the flavors didn't really pop I wanted more tart lemon curd to balance the sweetness. I enjoyed the chunks of cake in it and they were too big. The burgers are juicy smash burgers it had garlic dill pickles and their special sauce. I love smash burgers and it had a great flavor more salt forward or seasoned than other burger places I've been to. The onion rings were a big, salty and crunchy after a few the seasoning is a bit overpowering but the sauce that comes with it was delicious it was one of the best I've had! I'm looking forward to checking them out again when they're off the burger week. It's definitely worth a stop. read more

This place is fantastic! My husband and I both had the dream burger. He got a double patty which he did not need. One single smash patty is very filling. The fries can be shared because you get so many. They are nice and salty just like I like them. They also have tons of ice cream flavors. If you can't decide you can have as many samples as you would like. read more

My friend saw a review of Dream on Tik Tok, so we decided to check it out. It's a little place in NE Minneapolis and they offer a limited food menu and ice cream. I tried the Dream Burger and it was REALLY good. It is a 1/4 LB smashed beef patty with special sauce, garlic dill pickles, raw onions and American cheese. I added bacon because, why not! It was cooked perfect and super filling! It's a messy one, so grab a bunch of napkins. The fries were really good too and you get a X-Large serving to share. I did try the scotch-aroo ice cream, but it was so good that I forgot to take a photo. There is no indoor seating, but they do have some rail seats or tables in a massive pile of mulch to sit at. The staff working were super friendly! There isn't any parking except on the street. A great summer destination! read more

Not as great as what you've heard, or seen. Only side street parking, expensive, not worth it. We ordered ice cream and one cheeseburger. I ordered a scoop of Scotcheroo which was advertised as butterscotch ice cream with bits of scotcheroos. However, I didn't get even one tiny piece. Nothing. And the ice cream was not impressive. It was fine. My kids liked theirs. The burger was too smashed, dry, crumbly. I realized this place is operated by the same group who runs Nouvelle in Robbinsdale where the burgers are similar, but not as dry. I don't understand the hype. At all. Order in the tiny space, give your phone number so that you can receive a notification when it's ready and you can make your way back inside to pick it up. There is only side street parking around the block, limited seating very close to an alley, parking lot, or sidewalk. I uttered not one sigh of satisfaction or delight. read more
Fun Summer stand serving food and ice cream. Stopped by here to grab a sweet treat after dinner. Staff were really helpful and offered suggestions when I asked for a pairing with one of their unique flavors. Ice cream was delicious and serving size was perfect. Pandan Express Grassy with a nutty undertone. If you love Asian style desserts, you'll appreciate the flavor combo in an American style ice cream. Raspberry Lemon Cheesecake Citrusy, tart, and bright but also heavy with that classic cheesy flavor. There's road construction out front, so one would currently need to walk to it, but there's plenty of seating when you get there to relax and enjoy. read more
Believe the hype, dream creamery has the best burgers! I tried the featured burger, and it was the best burger I have had in the Twin Cities. This cute but small ice cream shop on busy Lowry Avenue is worth a visit. You'll have to park on a side street because they don't have good parking, but don't let that stop you. The burger is a peppery Smashburger with garlic aïoli and cheese, onions and pickles. And it's a handful! Make sure you grab some napkins. The ice cream is good, but the star of the show is definitely the burgers. read more

It's a cute little shop, all seating is outside. I discovered this thru someone I follow on TikTok. It was alleged that they have one of the best smash burgers. The burger is good, it's very thin and I ordered the cheese burger with pickles and mayo. Mine ended up falling apart. The bun seemed very fresh and light, which I like. The fries are good but you get so many, I wish they had a half vs. full order option. Because I did not need that many fries for myself. I also ordered a kid size scoop of ice cream and I got the mint chocolate ice cream- it was the absolute worst ice cream I've had. The mint had such an awful after taste. I took one bite and threw it right in the trash. I'd skip the ice cream and try the burgers for anyone wanting to try them out. They have a limited selection for drinks. They had cans of coke, Diet Coke, and sprite. And they also had a bottle of root beer. I'd recommend for the burger and fries but just know the price is a a little high for a smash burger for a fast-casual dining establishment. My friend got the double burger with fries and a double scoop of ice cream and she enjoyed it all. read more

I've been wanting to stop at Dream Creamery for a while and omg their ice cream is amazing! I got something similar to coco puffs cereal flavor and it honestly hit the spot. They also serve other foods such as burgers! Otherwise their ice cream is their main speciality and they have pup cups too if you end up bringing your furry friend. There's street parking plus there's plenty of seating outside too if you want to stay and eat! Highly recommend stopping by! read more
This definitely the best ice cream I have had in ages. The scoop is full of flavor, creamy, and has just enough toppings to not be overkill but perfectly portioned. I'm not usually a mint ice cream person, but knowing this was flavored with Andes mints plus the addition of oreo cookie chunks made me have to try it. Dream Creamery has been on my list to try since at least last summer, but creeped closer to the top as my best friend moved to the area. We stopped in for our first visit on a Wednesday evening around 7:35pm. Not too busy. I ordered the single Dream burger and fries. Note, for the Dream burger you can choose if you want a single, double or triple patty. You order at the counter and wait off to the side near the kitchen for your name. Food was made quickly. Only outdoor seating. Inside is pretty cozy and really just a come on in order and enjoy outside kinda vibe. You are able to try the different flavored ice creams before deciding, but there are so many to pick from. I passed on the icecream this visit.... Over stomach capacity after enjoying half of my dinner. I'll need to give it a whirl some other time in the future. Overall, I thought the burger was tasty. My pallet thought it needed more grilled onions, lots more pickles, and less special sauce. Fries were perfection. I love the crispy golden brown and zesty flavor. During my short visit, I noticed staff maintaining the hydration water station/condiment station and cleaning up tables. Staff were also friendly. I could see how this spot gets busy as MN weather gets nicer and warmer. The amount of people driving or walking. by each and everyday this is a perfect spot for impulse icecream stops. I will note I thought it was a little pricey, but this would definitely be a spot I come to as a treat, not all the time. If you're in the area or don't mind a little drive, I suggest you check it out for yourself. Don't forget to join their rewards program, too! read more
I know this is an ice cream place but their smash burger is top tier! They are very generous with the special sauce! My boyfriend and I both got an order of fries and we both agree that one order would've been sufficient! The service was really quick, we waited in line for about 5 mins and got our food in about 10. Parking is easy, there's plenty of street parking around. The ambiance is family friendly! They have plenty of outdoor seating. I saw people with their dogs, children or just hanging out. 4/5 bc We didn't try the ice cream but the waffle cone looked so good! read more

Honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had in Minnesota!! The perfect double patty smash burger with cheese, grilled and raw onions, added bacon; it was sensational! Came at the recommendation of fellow Yelp Elite Squad member Ben K, his partner claimed it was in his top 5 and truly in my opinion he could be right! Patties were so juicy and the flavor of everything was so spot on! I couldn't get enough I'm now going to be left dreaming about that burger! The ice cream is a nice touch as well I had a vanilla milk shake with caramel drizzle and some ice cream scoops with my partner. We tried the brown sugar cookie dough and salted caramel tres leches with sea salt sprinkled on top, out of this world yummy! There isn't a whole lot of seating so there's a limited patio space and some other outdoor seating. Cute space for a date or with friends on a weeknight out, we even ran into a few other Yelpers from the book club 'literati' so that was fun. Shoutout to Alex P for the fun night out! read more
I like Dream Creamery but the patty was over the top salty to my liking. I wanted so bad to like my dinner but ended up drinking lots of water to balance myself out. I might not go back for a while. Was a little sad about my experience but my first several visits since soft opening was wonderful. read more
