THEY WERE ALL OVER THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE TODAY BABY!…read more I must have wandered into the store while they were conducting customer service drills because they were all "at attention". I wanted to say "As you were" but decided to just let it be. Who complains about great customer service? No one! Several employees offered assistance and one gentleman was nice enough to get a basket to hold my wares. Love it!! So when I entered, I was hoping that they had the World Market selection, (like Perimeter) because I needed a snack. Unfortunately, they did not. They are a smaller store but probably have everything you need to make your bedroom and bathroom comfortable and cozy. Also they have great accessories and gadgets for the kitchen and other areas of the home as well. I loved the bedding that they had displayed because it was cotton and it felt really nice. I believe in 100% cotton bedding because I find it to be very durable and very cozy. When it comes to their bedding, you really have to watch for queen sizing because it is really not true queen size, it is designated as full/queen which means it falls short. This is something that I noticed a couple of years ago when I was looking for bedding but it may no longer be an issue. Just make sure that you check carefully. If you need to get organized, BBB can help you out. They have great drawer inserts to help separate your smaller items. I purchased a great boot rack which holds six pairs of boots in perfect position so that they hold their form and there is no drooping. As you get closer to Christmas, they have a great selection of "white elephant" gifts and small items that are perfect for stuffing stockings. I have been looking to update my bathroom curtains for a while and just had a difficult time nailing the color and length. Imagine my surprise when I actually saw the perfect color, on CLEARANCE and in the size that I needed. I kept twisting my head to see if I was reading the price incorrectly because the regular price was $37.99 while the current price was listed as $4.99. Yes, I took a photo. So I purchased $76 worth of curtains for $10. SCORE!!! Today was a good day! *** This is an update regarding the curtains I recently purchased for my bathroom. I love them! The color is spot on and they are a very heavy "drapery like" weight so they hand well. They also do a great job of blocking light. This is the second time that I have purchased curtains here and I have been pleased each time because they are of a very nice quality. I once purchased my drapes/window treatments at JC Penney but they have changed their signature collection so I needed to find another option. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Every employee has a positive and can do attitude. In December, we shopped nearby for a Breville toaster oven and we stopped at BBB and they found the model we were interested in and arranged Home delivery which took only two days! Today my wife went to BBB to purchase the Pro Glass 10 piece storage containers which was being discounted and due to their great close-out price were sold out. Not to worry, Bruce ordered 10 piece set for Home delivery! Not too many employees go the extra mile but BBB employees do! Thanks to you all

Upon entry, the warm smells of steaming sweet potatoes greets you! I think you can buy a bag & snack while you shop! I highly recommend eating BEFORE you go here, or you'll be tempted to buy a little bit of EVERYTHING! All the eastern Asian flavors and popular brands as well as the generics, Latin items, American staples, from fresh to frozen! The fresh seafood and hot deli items was cool. There were people stocking more things while I was there on a mid-Friday. The staff wasn't overly friendly, but they were around in case I had a question. There are cafe vendors and a dining area past the cashiers. They had Korean BBQ, hot dog on a stick, shave ice, & more. There's even a minimal area offering clothing and Korean skincare! For the kids (& the kid in you), there was an arcade including the Gacha games! Prices weren't outrageous and actually comparable to other international markets. Now that I know where I can get all my childhood delicacies, I'll be coming here often!!

Outside of the grocery side, there is a good size food court section and many cute boutique shops that sell skincare products, cute Asian items and clothing. Friendly service. Price is not any cheaper compare to the east cost Hmart, but quality is consistent. Large shopping center with ample parking. Highly recommend.

So I prepared the spicy Thai shrimp fried rice that I got from Trader Joe's and it didn't say…read morewhether to cook frozen or unfrozen so I cooked it frozen. I followed the instructions and let's just say don't use stainless steel pans but also I didn't do my test to see if my pen was ready before I put the oil in so that's on me. I have to take the blame for that because my pan is a mess and I'm cleaning it right now. But let's get to this fried rice. It has a great heat to it now I did add a little sesame oil to my pan and a little dark soy sauce and the shrimp are good with it. I would buy this again. Do you need to maybe add a little flavor yes because you get the heat, but it's not hitting me with flavor. I get a little spices, but it's not something that's gonna wow now to some people it will, but to me that's a connoisseur and a home chef I want a little bit more flavor and another thing to stretch this is to maybe scramble two eggs because it does have eggs in it, but I just think that fried rice is better with fresh eggs the eggs in it are good but I just I like a lot of eggs in my fried rice so I will be adding two eggs and some colossal black tiger shrimp because I had them on hand, but I just want it in this picture you to see the fried rice by itself no added eggs no added shrimp just this fried rice and I'm not gonna lie to you. I'm gonna buy this again the same way I like those shrimp potstickers if you're in there grab those two they're great with a little bit of that citrus Panzo sauce yes sir, thank me later. The ambience of the store it is what it is you know Trader Joe's to me it's a I would say maybe a better version of Aldi's. I don't know why I always had this stigma that Trader Joe's was an expensive store, but I do like the culture of different things I can get in all these that some things. Yes you're gonna pay for you know but I'm one of them connoisseurs that I go to Trader Joe's, Publix Whole Foods that's one of my favorites num dae mun for fresh seafood or I'll go to DeKalb farmers market every once in a blue moon and just grab a whole lot of seafood, but I also shop at Walmart Lidl because they have certain things that I can go to those storage for now you know what I should've added to this, which I probably will do later is make a duck breast that I have on hand and make it a shrimp and duck breast fried rice oh my God I think that's gonna be fabulous, but y'all have a wonderful and blessed day and thanks for looking at my review

Review for H Mart H…read moreMart is one of my favorite Korean grocery stores--ever. I remember when they first opened locations in the Bay Area in places like San Francisco and San Jose, and I would gladly make the trek just to shop there. I've never been disappointed. The stores are always clean, organized, and full of incredible food options. What really makes H Mart special, though, is that it's more than just a grocery store--it's an experience. Inside this massive market, you'll find a bakery, authentic Korean food stalls, and restaurant-quality meals being made fresh. It's honestly amazing to walk into a grocery store and have access to food that tastes like it came straight from a restaurant kitchen. Because I travel frequently for work across the Southeast--covering a pretty large region--I'm always on the lookout for an H Mart whenever I'm near one. I've been lucky to have access to locations like Cary, North Carolina, and the one in Buford outside Atlanta, which serves a large and vibrant Asian community. Whenever I'm within a reasonable driving distance--usually within about 10 miles--I make a point to stop in and enjoy a delicious, authentic Korean meal that's made to order and very reasonably priced. I've brought friends and colleagues with me, and they've all been blown away by the food stalls. My personal go-to: * LA galbi (Korean short ribs)--if it's on the menu, I'm ordering it * All the little banchan side dishes--I absolutely love them * Fresh seafood options, including live crab and fish that can be cleaned and prepared for you * A stop at the bakery for dessert--think croissant donuts, almond pastries, or a beautiful layered crepe cake Some locations--even the ones I visited years ago on the West Coast--would steam or fry seafood for you right there, which makes dinner incredibly convenient. Another thing I appreciate is the cleanliness. This store truly rivals places like Whole Foods in terms of organization and quality, even while handling live seafood. The parking lots are typically spacious, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. I also love browsing the aisles for specialty ingredients you can't find everywhere. For example, they carry my favorite laksa noodles, which remind me of a Malaysian dish I fell in love with while visiting a friend in Mauritius. It's always fun to discover unique items like that. The staff--both in the grocery store and at the food stalls--are friendly and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. Bottom line: If you're anywhere near Cary, North Carolina--or even the Buford, Georgia area--do yourself a favor and make a beeline to H Mart. As a lifelong foodie, I truly believe: Life is too short not to eat well.

As much as I love the vast selection of foods at the supermarket, there's been a number of things…read morethat have been turning me away in the past several years. Not at any other H-Marts, but at this Duluth location, things have just gone awry in the past few years. For one, they allow religious harassment at their door. I really don't appreciate being flagged down and chased by Bible "advocates" outside their door. I find that really intrusive, and bordering harassment. One time, this bawdy Korean lady chased me toward my car with this religious pamphlet...when I clearly told her "NO"...not interested. I mean, what more can I do or say without being chased like that??? So rude! I can't believe H-Mart is letting these folks harass their customers like this. Not all the people that shop at this mart is a Catholic, or Christian, or religious at all. Even if they are, they STILL may not wish to be harassed like this. For some folks, religion (or spirituality) is a personal thing. Religious harassment is so offputting...and inappropriate? I mean, this is a supermarket!!! It's just beyond the pale. This right here made me drop 2 stars off the bat! Then their weird food court hours. I mean, most food courts are up and running from 11 am on...but here, they start opening past 12 pm. I think on the day I was there, they were opening the food court closer to 12:30! That's just not acceptable. Lastly, I find their layout extremely awkward and uncomfortable to manuever around.
