For the last 2 years, I've had 3 plummers come to my house for a smell that was awful. When we bought this house, I was told the smell was the garbage disposal, so we replaced it. The smell was still there, then was told it was coming from pipes, the plumbing company told us of pods to put in dishwasher, garbage disposal...etc. this went on for 2 years. I have a rental property that I was cleaning because the new tenants were moving in a week....it was Sunday and when I flushed the toilet; water back up and out it came through toilet and tub. Immediately call Drain Pro and Eric arrived in less than 2 hours. There was not a clean out so he remove the toilet and unclogged it. Next day, same thing happened and he came back and told me that it was a good idea to use the camera to see what was going on.....made an appointment with Mike and when the camera was inside the sewer line, we could see the pipes full of roots. Im disappointed that I didnt have a good experience like the rest of these reviews. I actually had the same similar situation as the other bad review. I called early in the week because i was referred from another plumbing company to drain pro for septic inspection and certification. I spoke with Mike who scheduled me the following day which was great. The technician Jeff came out and from the beginning did not say hello and seemed annoyed. He started digging but after my husband left he came and told me he couldnt find my septic tank and that my husband would need to dig it or they can use cameras for a couple hundred more. He stated that if my husband finished digging we wouldnt be charged but still charged me the $200 and left because he said "did you see how much i dug" When my husband got home, he went in the hole Jeff dug and the lid was there already. I called Jeff to tell him and he said if the second tank was dug as well. I asked if my husband dug up the second, will I get refunded. He said no and that he will dig it himself and swing by later that afternoon. My husband called mike to see exactly the confusion of the septic and he said would ask the tech and call him back. He didn't. The tech never returned either. The next morning I asked if they would be able to come and Jeff said "yeah ill get to it some time today" i told him that i needed more of a time frame because i didn't get an additional day off for work. He said he would for sure come later on and will call an hour before. Never showed. So now I have one tank dug up, and out of $200. I understand with the covid things are busier at times than normal. But I dont think that takes away from having to just tell the customer the availability instead of lying and saying twice you will come but dont show up or even call to state you are not showing up. Absolutely the poorest example of customer service from a plumbing company one could ever experience. Out of two separate service plumbers that have graced our doorway one is always surely and rude and appears to have the knowledge of plumbing less then a lumberjack with no consideration to the safety of his customer and must be paid on commission since he wanted to replace an entire water heater that only needed a small part replacement...all this without even showing up with any tools in the first place. The second plumber from the company (apparently which is also the owner) does have greater interpersonal customer skills but is untrustworthy and untruthful as he is known to make appointments and not keep them nor even bother to return phone calls as per his promise. The bottom line is after several days of getting a run around of excuses of the job did get completed after several phone calls to the company. Too bad it only took SEVEN days to replace a common stocked part that can be purchased at ANY plumbing supply store including even the big box home repair stores. My family had the unfortunate privilege of discovering it was time to get the septic tank pumped. I requested a quote and received one within 10 minutes of sending the request. I was worried about having to set an appointment later in the week and having to figure how to take care of "business" in the meantime. Much to my surprise and delight Drain Pro had the best bid, but could also be at my house within two hours! Ricky showed up right on time and got to work. He located the tank quickly and made quick work of digging out and draining the tank. The poor guy had an amazing attitude in 109° heat! When he was done he had also completed a map of where the tank is with measurements and a scale! It was actually hard to tell where he had to dig in the lawn or flower bed as it was all put back very neatly! Talk about going above and beyond. I hired DrainPro to redo all the plumbing in our 105 year old house in the Oleander Neighbor during our recent remodel. They did an excellent job from start to finish. They stayed right on budget which usually isn't the normal with the contractors I have used in the past. They explained everything to me so I could understand what was required and gave me a few options so I could see what best fit by budget. The job was completed on time and they even worked around my other contractors to complete the project. My project included replacing all the plumbing under our raised foundation, replacing all the plumbing to an upstairs bathroom, adding plumbing for a new shower, hooking up a 100 year old claw foot tub (which was quite difficult due to the parts being so old), disconnecting an old water heater tank and installing a new tankless water heater, and fixing my water pressure problem. All through the project I was kept informed each time an issue popped up and they provided options to correcting the issue. Their price was very reasonable, coming in lower than a few other bids I got. But when you are replacing plumbing pipes quality work is more important than the lowest bidder.
