The home improvement and repair space is hard to navigate! I can honestly say that from my experience with Drain Mob, all these 5 star reviews are real and authentic. Our trusted plumber referred us to Drain Mob. I didn't even realize that a lot of the plumbers you utilize for in home repairs are not as familiar with drain lines so it requires plumbers of a different specialty area. We had an issue with our clean out area and they came to help diagnose the situation. The other plumber we had called was going to charge us $325 just to take a look at the area. Drain Mob did this as a part of their free assessment and were able to set us up on the right path. They were honest about next steps and it ended up saving us a lot of money and future headache. I'd highly recommend giving them a call! read more

Very nervous to get quote regarding possible roots in surface drains around property. Drain Mob quick to respond, estimator Tyler Downs very helpful and professional, clearly sealed the deal for me to proceed. Was scheduled same day and drain tech/estimator Rob Patrick saw video sent to him by Tyler first, drains cleared successfully as promised. Very professionally done, both highly personable and bright. Took the time to call company and speak with manager personally also. Told both employees about their level of excellence. It is what helps the world go around. Thank you, Jeff W. We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Drain Mob, and I have to give a huge shoutout to Tyler and Diego for their outstanding work! From the moment they arrived, they were professional, friendly, and super respectful of my home. They walked me through everything before getting started, answered all my (many) questions patiently, and made sure I understood what was going on every step of the way. My home got a complete upgrade with sewer inline and I couldn't be happier with the results. Tyler and Diego went above and beyond, and it's rare to find service that's this reliable, honest, and high quality these days. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again or recommend them to anyone needing plumbing help. These guys are the real deal! read more

I would like to give a special thanks to the 4 reps that handled my situation on a Friday with little notice and somewhat of an emergency situation. I called on a Thursday and they were able to come next day because we could not use our water or toilets due to a huge clog (under ground) they were able to dig it up and repair so we could use the facilities again. I can't thank them enough. Cody, Javier, Jesus, Matthew and Mauricio, thank you!!!! I highly recommend them! They are very nice and communicative when you are very stressed with these household situations. read more

Great service. Arrived earlier than promised and fixed our kitchen drain problem efficiently and quickly. Friendly, but business-like.

My friend referred me to Drain mob. Surely they did not disappoint. I know nothing about drainage and hydrojet but for my house, there was root stuck in the drainage line. From the beginning to call to schedule an appointment, Eduardo was helpful and clear about the pricing. Making the appointment was so easy and smooth. Then today Rob is the staff, who came to do the work. He was so patient and informative explaining to me with camera pictures about where the root is. And he showed me progress as he was flushing them away. In the end, he cleared the whole thing! He was so efficient and friendly as well. Highly recommend Drain Mob!! read more

100%, A+. Caleb and Billy showed up early, assessed the situation, and got to work. Very knowledgeable, very courteous and professional. Our toilet pipe was full of roots. They pulled a toilet, ground out the roots, checked everything with a camera, etc. Can't say enough and will call again if I have any drain issues. Thanks! read more

integrity!!! jose ,Joey his entire team everyone involved were simply outstanding!!! They noticed an issue that they could have easily swept under the rug ...not do and still get paid but stayed an extra day and a half and did the job right and sent video to prove it and still honor their original bid. I called for a possible hydrogen of my laundry line which would have been more $$$$$$ my camera and looked at the train and brought us 60 foot snake. He said let's try this. Even though I had 2 of the well known plumbing companies out to snake it to know avail. I told Mike but he said let's see how this goes. He broke through!!!! Checked under the house for leaks and checked that it was flowing into the main sewer. He did it!!! All for $ instead of $$$$. Such a pro. I'll use these guys anytime read more

My cast iron Sewer line 80 years old needed to be replaced. I called Drain Mob for a quote and a young man arrived in a big white truck. He camererd the line and measured the ENTIRE line and gave me a shocking quote for a complete Relining of $29,600 then quickly said he could knock off $600. He then proceeded to put a notepad in front of me and introduced 100% financing with NO interest in the first 12 months. I said "That was a crazy out of my budget quote, can you cut it in half, or 30%. He said no. I said I'd get back to him.. I then researched other companies and got it done by another reputable Sewer relining company for $18,000 (For the same linear feet and NO money up front. Drain mob pricing is insane. read more

Awesome job done with reasonable price! Previous owners that I rented out to back in Chula Vista used them for years. I finally purchased my new home in Spring Valley and they came out, inspected my pipes including the main pipe leading to the city and explained what the blockage was. They also did a hydro jetting to help remove the oil and gunk from my pipes. read more

Our technician Austin was cordial, knowledgable, and helpful throughout our whole lining process. I really appreciated the way he was available and willing to go the extra mile for a customer by explaining clearly and making sure I understood what the scope of work would be. The interface with drain mob and their estimates were really helpful. They also gave me a before and after video of my work done. I have worked with Black Mountain Plumbing and other highly rated San Diego plumbers but I found Drain Mob to be of high quality and high customer care. Even another company I got a quote from (I got 5 quotes) they said Drain Mob is really good. The price of the work also was reasonable for the work needed to be done. The day of the job about 5 workers showed up and they explained things. Francisco was the technician on site working and he was helpful in once again explaining the scope of work they would do and how they were going to tackle the issue. I will for sure be a returning customer. read more

Wow, from knowledge & expertise to customer service, Drain Mob is on point! We were looking at a $38k job to replace our corroded cast iron drains with ABS. Not only was it insanely expensive, we didn't want the risks of trenching all the way up to our foundation. Thank God we did our research! They say you should get 3 bids for standard contract work; 10 for drains and plumbing. We can absolutely see why. The scope and price were all over the place from company to company. It took four bids and weeks of back and forth with competitors before we decided to go with Cody and his team. But once we did, we had complete trust in them. Their customer service is very old school in a way that doesn't really exist anymore. Where other companies gave us a blanket price or made us wait a week for quotes, Cody was ON IT, working up four distinct proposals for us, all extremely detailed and itemized, so we knew what solution would best fit our needs and budget. When we hit a wall--due to both the unknown state of our kitchen line and the barrage of industry jargon--Cody gave us space and ultimately offered to complete the job in phases so he wouldn't overpromise and underdeliver. At no point did we feel pressured to go under contract like we did with the other guys. Cody was just there, holding our hands until he answered every last question. Bonus points for him being a boots-on-the-ground contractor, not a random sales guy! As for the job itself, Tyler and Dawson killed it! They let us know what they were doing every step of the way. When a member of the crew had a family emergency that resulted in a no show, Jose made it right from the back office, bending over backwards to get a replacement tech on site the same day. He also discounted our bill for the inconvenience and moved other clients around to get the OG crew back on the job ASAP per our request. For as unsexy of a project as this was, we're thrilled with the results of our pull-in-place epoxy liner. We have before and after pics & videos, a new clean out and stand pipe, and a reputable company to turn to if we ever need them. Plus we paid $13k less than we would have had we done a complete replacement via trenching. Do your research, but just know--their Yelp reputation is legit. Drain Mob will come through for you. read more

I have used Drain Mob for a major pipe lining project as well as an unexpected pipe replacement project while in the middle of a bathroom renovation. These guys are the absolute best. Cody, Mauricio, and Javier were so responsive, helpful, and dedicated. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! read more

Regarding their comment below-- They offered me $20. I declined. Then they called me after posting this review to offer me more $$$. I said NO. Do not want other possible new customers to fall for this Bait and Switch. I called Drain Mob and was very explicit what needed to get done. They quoted me $495 over the phone. Their technician came out. I asked as soon as he stepped off the truck. Confirming what needs to get done and the price. He stated" I am not quite sure who quoted you that amount, our minimum for this is $650". They are a small company. So, I am quite sure everyone is well connected regarding communication. Was leaving for vacation so paid the $650. I did complain to them regarding the above. They offered me $20. I despise companies who do this. Give you a price over the phone . Then step off the truck and say that was the wrong price before they even look or do anything....... read more

We had our main line descaled, clean outs and an epoxy liner installed. After receiving four other quotes, we decided on Drain Mob because it was clear from the start they were the most knowledgeable and fair priced. Drain Mob was great to work with. We appreciate everyone at Drain Mob for making such a huge project less painful and are so happy with their quality work. read more

Technician Jonathan arrived right on time and was pleasant, efficient, and very knowledgeable. He cleared my drain quickly and made sure everything was running smoothly. I also appreciated how careful he was not to track water into the house. His friendliness and attention to detail really stood out. Eduardo in the office deserves a shoutout as well--he kept me updated about the schedule and was always pleasant and helpful. This is a super professional company with excellent customer service. Stephen A. came out to clear our drains, and he is exceptional! On time, super helpful, intelligent and friendly. While here he advised us that he found a crack in a main cast iron pipe that could burst at any time. (This house was built in 1957). We are so glad he was here to fix our original clog and to suggest we get the cast iron fixed. We found another exceptional plumber for that, and now feel safe. Thankfully, Stephen had a great eye, which helped to avoid a bigger problem. Really appreciated Steve, he is wonderful! Thanks! read more

After we tried checking all our toilet fixtures, using a plunger and auger we requested the services of drain mob to look into a possible clog. Had good reviews, local to my neighborhood and seemed like they were honest with assessments. Jonathan came to our home and used an auger with a larger boring head and found roots!!! Took less than an hour to find issue and fix it. Overall, happy with the value and experience. read more

Technician couldn't solve the problem and owner threatened for a payment for service call when there was no talk about service call from beginning when scheduling done. Very very unprofessional owner cursed and threatened on phone. Initially when technician couldn't solve the problem the other guy name Cody called and asked that he and owner has more experience so I should let them come in to check again but they lied about rechecking the issue. Their purpose was to come in person to threaten me and my wife. Unprofessional no respect for customer. I highly recommend to look somewhere else. read more

We have a 60 yr old home that has had most of the plumbing replaced but has a couple of weird tie-ins from the kitchen sink to the main. The sink was starting to drain slowly, and it was a matter of time before it was going to be all bad. Our neighbor, who is a plumber, recommended Drain Mob. We called and got an appointment for the next day. They were running a tiny bit late but were still within the expected time frame. We appreciated the phone call keeping us in the loop. Hank and Caleb were the techs and they are an asset to this company. Great personalities, clear with what needed to be done, careful with our stuff and did a great job. I would recommend them to all my friends. Thank you, Drain Mob, for getting us flowing again. The Zugel's read more

I had an emergency situation at 8 am on a Saturday. My sprinkler value had a leak and we had flooding from the lawn onto the street. I called Drain Mob and even though Drain Mob could not perform the service for my area, the manager Billy spent almost 2 hours helping me look for someone who could help and service my area. I appreciated this because it was almost impossible to find someone to fix an irrigation issue at 8 am on a Saturday. Most other businesses were closed, did not service my area, did not perform the type of service needed, or simply were booked. Even though I was able to find a different technician, Billy told me that he would still have his technician on stand by if I needed it and helped guide me through the process so I would not get up charged. Billy went above and beyond what any business was expected to do and I'm truly thankful for that. read more

Having a specialist who has the right knowledge and equipment to diagnose a problem is critical. Rob from Drain Mob met the challenge and was able to resolve 22 years of sewer use. There are plumbers and then there's Drain Mob. Feeling grateful! read more

We had issues with our plumbing since early this year. We had been using our home warranty for the repair twice. This have never happened before... First when the storm was happening late January, we drained the bathtub which led to water rising in our shower and water seeping on the side of the toilet. It took about 40 mins before it all started gurgling and it all drained. The plumber from the home warranty came out and since there were no issues he could see, he concluded that there was probably a backup from the city that caused the sewer valve to close. Two months later, two of the toilets downstairs weren't flushing all the way. The home warranty sent their plumbers and they said that it was toilet paper that was causing the valve to close. They recommended to not use toilet paper or to use less of it. That didn't seem to be an acceptable answer for us unless we install a bidet. The warranty company said that they may cover it if we have someone else come out and they give a different resolution. We called Drain Mod and they came out the next day. They looked at the sewer line and said it's about to back up again. We all agreed to remove the sewer flap/valve. We requested them to run the camera down the line to make sure it's not something else blocking the line. They waited patiently while I called the warranty company since they said they wanted to speak to the plumbers while they were there. (The refused to cover the fix but that's whole other story.) Overall, we were happy with the service we received from Drain Mod and would use them again. read more

Wow - Fantastic! Great job, determination, cleaned up, polite. I would not hesitate to use them again & highly recommend.

They were very responsive. All workers were friendly and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.

We had an unpleasant surprise over the weekend. After trying to troubleshoot ourselves with no success we had to call in the professionals. Drain Mob was able to accommodate us last minute with a small wait time window so our whole day wasn't wasted waiting around. I can see why they get five stars.. we were given a 10-12 am timeframe and Jonathan showed up to our home right before 10am. He was friendly and quick to get started. He quickly diagnosed the issue and not too long after our drain was flowing again. He went the extra mile by giving us tips on how to avoid the issue for the future. Overall we are extremely pleased with Drain Mob. Highly recommend them! read more

If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would! Joey from Drain Mob is hands down the best plumber I've ever hired. Despite some traffic and scheduling delays, he still arrived at 6:30 PM after a long day and tackled my severely clogged kitchen drain like a true professional. The clog was packed with grease and was a very stubborn clog, but Joey quickly cleared it using a hydrojetter, making it look effortless--an obvious sign of his experience and skill. Not only was he incredibly efficient, but the price was the best I've seen--much, much better than other highly-rated San Diego plumbing companies I had gotten quotes from. Drain Mob as a company is just as impressive. From the initial phone call to their follow-ups and check-ins on Joey's arrival, their customer service was top-notch. It's so hard to find companies that truly care about their customers these days, but Drain Mob exceeded all expectations. I've finally found the go-to team for all my plumbing and drain issues. If you need a reliable, professional, and fairly priced plumber, look no further--Joey and Drain Mob are the real deal! read more

I recently had a clogged shower drain and needed the issue resolved ASAP. Reaching out to inquire about the service and getting an appointment was extremely easy and seamless. Rob was extremely professional yet friendly and he got the job done so fast, I was so impressed! I'd highly recommend Drain Mob for any of your plumbing needs! Thanks guys! read more

Rob from Drain Mob showed up within 40 minutes of our initial call (even before the time window they provided). Rob cleared our clog (using our outdoor clean-out port for access). As an additional service, he also sewer jetted the drain from the house to the city line, which should mean we won't have to deal with what was a toilet paper jam again for a long time. Pricing options were provided up front and were consistent with the service Rob provided. The work truck Rob showed up in had all the appropriate tools for clearing drains, including a camera on a line, a sewer jetter high pressure hose, a regular hose, a compressor, and even his own tank full of water. Thank you Rob for turning what was an emergency for us into a routine call for you. You were wonderful to work with, turning our day around perfectly! read more

My experience with the Mob was very positive. I was happy to find them, as it meant that I didn't have to tear up my bathroom floor and exterior patio, which was the alternative proposed by a different company. The Drain Mob rep who came and did my estimate was knowledgeable and friendly, as were the plumbers and liners who did my job over the course of two days. I got the names of two liners, Rubén and Oscar, but the plumber was great too. Drain Mob's original estimate included the cost of installing clean outs, but it turned out I already had them, they were just a bit hidden. Their business office deducted that cost from the job without a fuss, which was just one of several ways they showed integrity with my job. I've only had the liner in for a couple weeks, but so far no complaints. read more
