Billy and Justin came out and took amazing care of me and my persistently clogged mainline drain. Over the past several months, the drain from the house to the sewer had to be snaked THREE times by another plumbing service! I was even charged over $300 for a camera after one snaking. Everything "looked fine" yet the drain continued to clog. I got fed up and called Drain Mob and I'm glad that I did. I had a complicated situation with landscaping drains that were blocked with roots. We had 8 previous plumbers come out and none were as helpful or informative of our situation. Our son dropped a plastic ball down our floor drain and it clogged in the p-curve from all the snaking etc. We were told by 2 previous plumbers that we would have to cut through the slab to get to the piping under the house where the ball was stuck. Joey came out and was confident he could get it out. We were not expecting much given our past reports from previous experts. Joey "MacGyver-ed" a tool to drill into the ball and pull it out. He explained the danger of the drain and recommended a cover to keep any possible back up at of our house and avoid sewage smell coming up through the drain. No other plumber has ever explained to us the need for a cover and in fact we had a plumber out specifically to address the sewage smell that would periodically come up through that drain. Hands down the most honest, reliable, thorough, & affordable service team. 4 years ago, we were having plumbing problems every 4-6 months. Then we had a horrible sewer backup, 1 1/2 years ago. We literally had fifteen+ plumbers over a span of three months, looking at the main lines, cameras, quotes, repairing the pipes that had exploded, to Anderson Plumbing power jetting the lines, and snaking the lines Twice in three weeks after their jetting, and now recommending to go with the sleeve. As repairs were ongoing on the house over the years, worse over time, the line jetting a failure, and soon found it did more damage than good, I got another referral from another friend, for her plumber, Jeff Green of over 25 years. He gave me some sound advice that no other plumbers provided and recommended me to to talk to Billy the owner of Drain Mob. Mind you after Anderson, Bill Howe, Rescue Rooter to name a few had already had come to the house for various services their "best recommendations" to "best price and services," before over the last four years, incl., during and after the huge sewer back up with no lasting solution. By about the fifth + time sending cameras down the pipes by other companies, countless snakes, and jetting, Billy was the ONLY plumber to recognize where joints were not aligning. He spent longer than ANYONE showing us and explaining what he found. HE also later discovered a buried clean out pipe, that nobody saw or knew existed, at least since we bought the house. We initially hired Drain Mob to just repair the faulty joints, rather than the entire main, as initially planned, because frankly we borrowed money to pay for the costs, as my severance went down the 'sewer.' in the previous repairs, lousy recommendations, and false promises, that didn't remove ongoing problem. Drain Mob was the best of all worlds, the least expensive, best skilled, exceptional, and courteous service, and most of All RESOLVED our plumbing problems. While we didn't anticipate it, Drain Mob ended up replacing the whole main, not just the joints, And because when rain falls, it pours, Drain Mob found that Anderson Plumbing split the main under the house. No, it wasn't there before the jetting because we saw the numerous camera shots over the last several months of quotes, and of course no it is not something warranted as it's in the contract and a risk with jetting, but of course told such a slight chance happening, yet the sleeve was our Best option. Grrrr. Drain Mob was at the house all day to replace the main as well as other plumbers companies' damages. Drain Mob was the ONLY PLUMBING CO who told us our lines aren't standard width, and aside from DONT flush wipes ALSO don't use certain brands of TP. Sadly, we never flushed wipes before until some plumbers told my husband it was okay, and while I didn't believe them my husband and kid sent those pipe cloggers down the pipes, only worsening our sewer problems. Well, it has been a 1 1/2 years, since Drain Mob replaced the mains, and NO problems from the new pipes. We changed TP brands, had stopped flushing wipes, while we lived at the house. We now moved out, found work outside of SD, and rent the rest of the rooms/house out. We did have a few some clogs from GLOBS upon GLOBS of wipes flushed by the new/additional tenants who moved in., despite clear forewarning not to flush those. All of them denied it. But Drain Mob was there to our rescue, and even talked to the tenants and our property management and us. Billy, the owner, and his team, they are respectful, honest, care about their clients and their work. I would highly recommend them, have called them not only for myself but called for and recommended them to friends and family. We had a major issue with our main sewer line. Our plumbing was backed up (in the backyard) and we needed someone to come out pretty quickly. Billy and Jacob showed up with their big trailer and all of their equipment. They were able to hydrojet our problem away (roots in the sewer line) and we were told that our problems will come back again in a year since our pipes were right under some pretty big trees. For now, our system is working again and they were able to get it back under control pretty quickly, so we are happy with their work and they did a great job! We don't look forward to having to spend $350/year every year though, but unfortunately for us, that is our only option right now. Yesterday we had a plumber send a camera down our kitchen drain and found numerous sections of grease buildup. They offered to snake it but recommended Drain Mob to do a jet clean. Today they did it in about 30 minutes and wow what a difference. Pipes are completely clean. Just read all the reviews here, it looks like we all have been through the same nightmares and the occasional happy endings that we all have encountered dealing with stopped up drains, be it the plumbing companies and or the plumbers who come to our rescue. This has been a terrible year, add a plumbing emergency, the anxiety of trying to communicate with some unfriendly overworked person that schedules the service you need but tries to sell you "the clear coat" let alone just getting people to show up on time, with the proper tools, knowledge and determination to fix the problem without the usual "How much you Got" when one ask how much do I owe you, the whole experience can be such a drag! If the problems at your own house its bad enough, you manage, but when its at a rental it has to be taking care of ASAP. I got that dreaded call from our tenants wednesday night at 8PM that the sewage was backing up in the shower, I got on the phone, computer and immediately contacted a couple of friends and they mentioned Drain Mob. So I called and left a message that night, I got a call on Thursday at 8AM and the lady on the phone said they would have someone at the house between 2pm and 5pm, I was super stoked and the price was right too.
