I hired them and they poked around in the back yard for two days claiming they couldn't find the line. They had long poles that they stuck in the ground and even had fancy xray type detectors they scanned the yard with. One guy kept digging around one spot with a shovel. After he left that spot and moved on, my renter went out and found the sewer line right where he had been digging. They got me for two days of labor. They are con men and rip offs.

In the plumber's defense, the tenants had not maintained the yard well and the meter... tho obvious to me as I had lived there, wasn't obvious to him. He did find it and continued the work. After the install.. all seemed to be going well. The old water heater was on a crummy, rotting piece of wood and they stuck the new one on top of it. I called to their business three different times on three different days and did get a callback eventually. They have agreed to come out and make things right, which makes me a happier customer. I was concerned, initially, about service after the sale but they have come through to make things good. The communications problem did give me pause but it happens. I have actually contracted with them to do another job for me.

The second complained about his hours with this company, came and "fixed" the problem. Neither "fixed" the problem. I called The Rooter Wizard on a Sunday expecting at best an answer machine. Much to my surprise the owner of the company answered the phone! He listened and arranged to be at my home the next day. He and his workers were on time (!), clean and assessed our issues. He was under the house and in the attic. Once his assessment was complete he showed us videos of areas of concern that we could not see. He is honest, compassionate, fair and complete. He maintains open communication, is fair and prioritized work that needed asap attention vs items that could be done at a later time. There were no surprises. His work ethic is far beyond what we have found available in southern MS with all workers- not just plumbers. We have lived all over the US as Navy sailors. The Rooter Wizard maintains the highest quality work ethic we have experienced. Called a local plumbing co, but it was Sat. and no help. Mon morning I called the firm I had sent emails to on Sat. morning talked to a nice lady who informed me that they could be out about 2:00 p.m to check out the damage and give me an estimate that would cost $69. If I allowed them to do the work the $69 would apply to the cost of the work. As I was out of water for the entire weekend I decided to see if I could find someone who could come out earlier. I contacted Cajun Maintenance and was told that a plumber would be out before 0800. True to their promise a plumber arrived, looked over the problem, and wrote me a quote. I looked it over and agreed to the work and the price. The young plumber was well versed in his job because he went to work and had main feeder pipe removed at the site of the split in it. Went in from under the sink, cut the bad pipe from the inside of the house, cut a length of pipe that he soldered at the place he cut the old pipe out. Reconnected faucet and everything worked as it should. The whole thing took about 2 hours. I paid the plumber the fee that he quoted to me....It was a fair cost for getting to me as soon as I called, professional work, and the fee was very reasonable. I will definitely call Cajun Maintenance in Denham Springs if I need fast, professional service at a reasonable and fair price.
