The bathtub was damages when installing into place, with no offer of replacement or discount. The employees were sent to my home ill-equipped - they needed to use my tools and studs. They went to the home depot to purchase plumbing supplies they did not have for the job. The tub was improperly installed - it rocked when I stepped in. Ultimately, I lost faith in them after they failed the leak test, water dripping from the upstairs tub to the kitchen downstairs. The business owner refused to negotiate any type of refund for the incomplete job. I wouldn't trust them to replace a washer, never-mind anything more complicated.

After having my sewer line run by Rotor-Rooter several times over the past 30 years, each time in response to a recurring backup, I decided to try the local company, United Sewer & Drain Cleaning. The last straw came a year ago when the Rooter guy came out for a backup and told me it was probably just a momentary clog and sold me a jug of root eliminator instead of running the pipe. When the washing machine rinse water flooded onto the floor this week, I decided there had to be a better choice. When I saw the root incursion on United's camera, no amount of chemicals was going to fix that problem. United first snaked the pipe then suggested their "root rat" water pressure cleaning. When I saw on video what was happening in my old clay pipe (my house is 1830s vintage) I was shocked. The Rooter guys over 30 years and four visits had done nothing more than punch a small hole in a solid net of roots occurring every three feet -- length of the pipe between joints. United's crew ran the pipe and the snake came out covered in roots, as it has in the past. Unlike Roto-Rooter, they diagnosed the problem and offered a solution. The next day United's Sam and Sam Jr., father and son, spent five-and-a-half hours patiently working that pipe with a high pressure water jet that strips the roots but does not damage the pipe. He was careful to make sure no sewer water backed up into the house. What little did he caught in a bucket and carried away. It was a significant investment, $1,800. But seeing the before and after video of the inside of the pipe was worth every penny. Now my sewer line is root-free for the first time in the 30 years I've owned it, probably longer. Plus Sam gave me a plan to keep it that way including a maintenance schedule. If you've ever had sewage back up into your basement, you'd understand why the confidence that my pipe is sound and root free is worth the cost. United did a great job. They showed me everything on the video camera. They truly cared about solving my problem now and forever. And they left my basement cleaner than when they arrived. I highly recommend United.

The bathtub had to be done multiple times as inexperienced people failed to fix the problem. The water heater was a comedy of errors. First, it worked fine ans was not an emergency but following building guidelines. The simple task was to tak a unit OUT of a closet and out a new one IN the closet. What happened? 1) they used the wrong size until and had to cut draining trays to wedge the unit into the closet 2) they completely tore the door and frame apart to get the unit in the closet 3) went back on their promise to pay for 50% of the repairs---they should have paid all of them but I wanted to end the crazy cycyle Net net, the work was not good and the support to fix it was worse.

When I finally found and reached out to Mike via Yelp (thank u YELP!) with preliminary questions, he was responsive and got back to me within an hour and we scheduled a visit for later on the same day. Mike and Elisa came by and quickly diagnosed the issue in being a collapsed drywell which we decided to replace. We went with Mike after a day or so of deliberation because he was responsive via text on answering all our questions and his price was fair compared to 2 other providers we were speaking with. He also promised (and fulfilled it during time of installation) to fix any broken sprinkler lines and asphalt driveway as he needed to enlarge the existing catch basin/drain, while another provider we spoke with, did not agree to do that which meant post installation, we would need to hire irrigation company and contractor for additional repairs. The day of install Mike came with his crew and in a couple hours of time, installed a new drywell along with filling the previous sinkhole and gave me a detailed paid invoice. It was interesting looking in the large hole they dug with heavy machinery since its not something I see often time, his crew was courteous while I was there. Mike then returned as promised a few days later to repair the sprinkler/asphalt and offered to come back if any issues. I had a positive experience w/ Mike and would recommend.

I had used Empire but I felt they only solved the issue temporarily and they were very costly to happen again after 6montha. So I decided to call Roto Rooter. Two young in experience Plumbers came to my home. They stayed 30mins used a 50ft snake once and told me there was nothing that can be done that O would need to contact the city to break the concrete to get at the drain with the blockage. Looking through the internet for another Plumber I saw great reviews about O'Grady so decided to get another opinion. John called me and he was super sweet and tmasked all the right questions. He sent over Con. Con was so knowledgeable and went beyond any Plner that we have had work on the drain. He snaked twice, did the jet three times and did the camera to show me what was going with my the drain. If it was another Plumber they would have gave up after a hour. But Con worked on my drain for 4 hours and made the drain was good. With all that said they also charged me half the cost of the work. Any other Company would have charged double or triple. I recommend O'Grady 1000%! They are good people who care!
