Simplicity of this place is worth going.....not to mention the value of your massage for what you pay. Even during my pregnancy, I would go here as opposed to Glen Ivy, Burke Williams, etc. I got the 1 hour for $20 foot massage.....but it just isn't your feet. The first time I had an inexpensive, hour-long foot massage was with my sister. She took me to this place in Hacienda Heights for $15. What a great deal! I was hooked, but not so much on the drive from Fullerton. Then one day, I noticed a $20 foot massage in my neck of the woods (just west of Birch Street Promenade); so I went with my husband one weekend, sans appointment, and they were able to take us immediately. It was clean, quiet, relaxed and friendly. While it's called the hour-long foot massage, they don't spend the whole hour on your feet; more than half is spend on everything from head-to-toe, with 20-25 minutes focused on the feet. While other women may love the Glen Ivy spas, I can't justify those costs. For $20, I can come here semi-regularly. Fresh towels, fresh foot soak in a plastic-lined, sanitary bath (unlike the unsanitary pedicure soaks @ nail salons), professional yet friendly massage therapists--all the necessities for a mentally & physically relaxing experience. My friend and I went in around 6:30pm last night the actual massage was okay. The woman who was giving me my massage, kept answering the phone calls from other customers calling in so she would switch to only using one hand, which took away from the experience. I definitely recommend that they get a front desk lady, or something to answer all the phone calls because it was very distracting and not relaxing. Then when the massage was over, we went to pay the card machine wasn't working because it was off-line. so after 20 minutes of them trying to figure out the card machine, they asked us to go to the liquor store to pay an ATM to withdraw cash. we said no we are not going to pay a fee to withdraw cash because the card machine isn't working. we had exactly $90 between the two of us to pay for the massage but that does not cover a tip. we paid for the service and as we were walking to our car already getting in The lady comes out and start asking us for the tip and we said we don't have cash for a tip and they got very upset with us and kept on pestering us for a tip and said we need to pay them at least five dollars for a tip. she was hassling us about a tip for five more times and then we finally said no we are not going to leave a tip. The service was very disruptive. Their card machine did not work. It was very inconvenient and they had the audacity to hassle us for a tip after all that. We would have left a tip because we never just stiff people but we simply didn't have the cash and they were just very rude about it. We only had exactly $90. It was a cheap massage and the massage itself wasn't bad. But if you're gonna go bring Cash and be prepared to be harassed. read more

They ambushed me at the end raging because I only left them $5 dollar tip, they wanted more than $20 dollars tip they start cussing at you in their language, and they harassing me to leave them a bigger tip. I have been coming to this establishment since they opened ! It was worth the price , so I'd even go twice a week ! I sent many friends there as well ... I'm in the hair styling industry . As far a cleanliness , it appears clean ... not so true , you never hear the washer & dryer going ... hmm I watch the massage therapist, REFOLD the same towels after being used by someone else before you ... the State Board should take notice ... anyways- they recently changed their number 4 massage and no longer turn you over to massage your back. Instead you get the laziest excuse for a massage lying flat on your back. Staff is RUDE! Especially the woman that greets you at front door. My last (and final) visit was particularly off putting- the guy was sneezing and blowing snot all over me. I've been here a few times, and it's a pretty good foot massage for 20 bucks. Today the masseuse really worked on the knots in my neck and back. This was the first time I brought a friend, and she was so relaxed she fell asleep; I'm not gonna lie: I've fallen asleep a few times before too.... This is BF and my favorite massage place near our place. As with other places, the therapist can either be a hit or a miss so you just have to give this place a couple of tries to find someone you're happy with. Other than the location, what I appreciate most about this place is how the therapist tries to be quite and not converse with other therapist while working. I can still hear people walk by but that can't be helped since the room is not private. My favorite therapists are Helen, Steven and Hien. read more

This was my first full body massage, and it was AMAZING. I don't think I got the girls name who did my massage, but she was great. The whole time she asked if I was okay, she was gentle where needed. $40 for an HOUR body massage, can't beat that. The place is calm, quiet and overall very soothing/relaxing. Horrible horrible horrible! Went in to get a 30 min body massage. I told the girl when she came in I'm very sensitive and I bruise easy. So more of a Swedish. I pointed to my neck and shoulder were I had a kink and asked her if she could please focus there. From the beginning she was rough, I kept telling her she was hurting me. Every time I did she would make this irritated sound under her breath. Then she started using her arms and digging her elbows into me. I finally had to tell her to just stop. That I was done and not to touch me. When I went out to the front a man came out. I explained to him what happened and that I was not paying full price. On top of that I was now more tense and in pain then before I came in. He was still trying to charge full price. He also said that she didn't speak English and she didn't understand me. Really! The massage was pretty good for the most part. I have really bad back aches and they did a decent job relieving my back pain. The issue I had was that I asked for a half an hour massage and they ended up charging me for the whole hour for $50. There is a huge lack of communication between the guest and host. Their English was broken so I had a hard time understanding that they were charging me for the whole hour. Also they forced me to tip them after charging me $50. I just had my first massage here. It started out GREAT! But then my masseuse took off and the counter girl took over. She then took a phone call while massaging me! Then the previous masseuse? came back! I'm guessing she had a bathroom break or something? Anyhow, she was very kind and knew how to massage. Her name is Rica, I believe. I eventually was transferred to a curtain room to complete the massage on my backside. I find that odd to have to do that. But hopefully they will get chairs that allow both sides at one station. My boyfriend and I came here for an inexpensive massage. We decided on the 30 minute "whole body" and 30 minute foot massage for $30. The massage started off good until I realized the man massaging me was sick and coughing and sucking up his snot the entire time and then proceeded to massage my face..... my boyfriend said his massage did not include his face, and he was right next to me getting the same massage. The rest of the massage was decent, slightly painful due to him digging his elbows into my back, but you get what you pay for right? Well it came time to pay and my boyfriend paid first and tipped $5 (keep in mind 20% of $30 is $6) and the guy who massaged me got pissed and walked away. I went to pay and also tipped $5 and the lady at the front huffed in disbelief.. my boyfriend and I were shocked! We are tipping within the 15-20% range that is acceptable and our massages were mediocre at best. We even got completely different massages even though we paid for the same thing. Is it just me or does it seem like the OC cannot produce one decent foot reflexology place?! I wanted to try this place because it was close to work. Place was not busy but they sat me next to a half naked hairy older man which was visually disconcerting. Next i get a guy named Shawn who had selective understanding of the English language. Not skilled at all and hardly any pressure was used during my foot massage. (I opted for the 30/30). Next I was asked to go to the private area for my back massage and was told to take my top off. So this creep barely massaged my shoulders or neck but was really into massaging my hips and butt. By the time I was done, I was more tense than when I walked in. My skirt and under wear we're more than half way down my rear. I think I was just molested! Will be reporting to the city and BBB for sure. read more

I went for my birthday. And had a good experience. I called ahead to be sure that my sister and I could have our massages at the same time. And was told that would be fine. That was very convenient for us. I was very surprised that you've got the foot and head massage in the main room. And then went to occur and room for the body massage. Another reviewer noted the masseuse used too much of her body weight and cause her back pain. But I found that very comforting she worked out a lot of knots and I had a lot of muscle relief. My only complaint was that my masseuse, was a talker. Everyone else was a pretty quiet but I could hear her whispering and giggling. And her shoes made a lot of noise. I'd give it a no star if possible. People here are horrible. Nicest people in the world but their massage was horrible. If you just want to be touched, go for it.
