Valerie is a treasure and absolutely amazing!! All the 5 star reviews are legit. I saw her one time back in 2021 for a 1.5 massage. Haven't seen her since until recently (not because she wasn't good, but because I didn't think I needed to go if I wasn't in pain). Well 3 weeks ago, I hurt my back pulling out weeds for 2 days straight. I thought it would get better but was still in so much pain after 6 days. I could feel so many knots in my lower back and my lat was so stiff. I remembered Valerie from way back and how good she was. She got me in the next day for a 60 min session. She was just as amazing as I remembered her to be. I felt so much better after and within a few days my back pain was gone. I just saw her again today for a 90 min session, this time for all the knots in my traps but she worked on the whole body. Loved it! Val is so consistent, I highly recommend the 90. My shoulder, traps and neck were full of knots and so crunchy and the relief after is night and day. I finally feel normal haha. I don't think we realize how much we put up with regarding knots, pain, and stiffness. I have such a different outlook on massages now. Valerie is hands down, THE BEST! Not only that she's amazing at her craft. She is so nice and so funny! I am so glad I found her and will vouch for her for the rest of my life. To give you some insights, I am very picky and very particular and now I see her twice a month. She is a part of my monthly budget! Lol I've only had one other masseuse that I swear by but due to moves and locations. The distance was too far. I am in love. I was looking for a massage therapist who offered deep tissue massages. I've been to many different shops, from Garden Grove to Santa Ana to La Mirada, but I couldn't ever find one who understood the meaning of deep tissue. Due to the pandemic and the entire work from home situation, sitting at a desk all day and then proceeding to the couch to binge watch all my favorite shows on Netflix really did a number on my back. I showed up to the place, she is very friendly and the place is immaculate: it's clean, sanitized, meets all the requirements for Covid (for everyone who is a little nervous). Let me tell you, her hands are magical! They are so soft yet so, so strong. I was looking for someone who could give me a good deep tissue massage. I am 65 and am still exercising and have never had a deep tissue massage. My neck, shoulders and back were full of knots and I have cervical stenosis so I knew this would help. I did my research and Valerie had such great reviews I thought I would give her a try. Oh...my...gosh! This massage hurt so bad because of all the tightness and knots but it was what my body needed! An hour later all the toxins that have built up in my body over the years we're releasing. It felt so good after my massage was over. I can't lie, it hurt for a couple of days, but it's my own fault for not taking care of my body before. I am going to keep going to Valerie on a regular basis so my body will keep moving easily and correctly. Finally someone who knows what deep tissue actually means! A lot of fly-by-night parlors seem to claim to offer them but you wind up with a medium pressure Swedish. Valerie is the real deal. Had a session with her last week and it was exactly what I was looking for and needed. I went to Valerie for a deep tissue massage and it was the most amazing thing ever! She is certified and has years of experience! I had a lot of knots on my shoulders, back and legs so I made sure to go to someone that was knowledgeable in deep tissue massages. I used to go to the Asian massages (not the happy ending ones) and it was always hit and miss. Sometimes it would be a good massage and sometimes it was just really bad. I have a chronic back issue, so I have seen numerous Massage Therapists in the last 15 years or so. Some are decent, some are good, but Valerie is simply the best. 1) She does NOT rush through the massage. You don't pay for a full hour and get the typical 50 minute massage. Many times she goes over the allotted time in order to make sure you get a great massage. 2) She doesn't skimp on some of the harder areas to work on: glutes, Quads, hamstrings. You are getting a FULL body massage, and that includes your feet and scalp. 3) Her pricing is very reasonable, and considering the fact that you get a fantastic massage and a longer one than most therapists offer, it's actually a great deal. 4) She offers discounted packages, I would highly recommend doing the 4 sessions for $240 as opposed to the individual session.
