We ordered from this place on Christmas Day because our usual place was temporarily closed. Big big mistake. My sha cha beef was almost entirely peppers and onions with barely any meat at all. It's a dark day... When this is the best Chinese restaurant in the area, simply because the chicken taste like actual chicken and not some "mystery" meat. Don't act like you don't know what I am getting at either. The food... Is not seasoned all that wonderfully. Come here for a no frills dining experience at its most expensive! You do not get free fortune cookies or chopsticks with your food either. They have barely closed the gravy so it will spill all over your lap too. Atmosphere: This place has a mid level sanitation rating, I think a 94, and visible water, brown stains in the ceiling. A lighted sign where the lights are blown, and no one has bothered to replace them. There is silver duct tape conspicuously covering certain defunct menu items. The staff: A step up from "cold," The staff is just short of rude... No one goes out of their way to be especially friendly, helpful or nice. The bottom line is, it's slim pickings from decent Chinese eats. The two stars are relative. Dragon Wok came highly recommended so I decided to check it out for myself! The restaurant was very clean inside and outside, the staff spoke good English and were very polite! We ordered a few dishes for the family by phone; our menu consisted of chicken lo mein, egg foo young, chicken and broccoli, and egg rolls! When we arrived 15 later the food was ready and being placed in a bag for us, accompanied by several different sauces, chopsticks and fortune cookies! Once we got the bag home the family dived in, and I must say, they did not disappoint! The food was hot and fresh, the egg rolls were a crispy crunchy treat of Asian goodness and and the egg foo young was delicious! I enjoyed every bite and I will definitely order from Dragon Wok again! Update: I decided to go back for more of the amazing food I delighted in a few days ago and I have to say some of the items were not that good! The shrimp egg foo young was delicious but the little mein was a disappointment this time, it was a little greasy and not as flavorful as the previous order (maybe it was a different cook)! This is the worst place to order delivery from!!! They served us a catering order of shrimp lo mein that had under 5 shrimps throughout the whole platter. The lo mein was so salty that we were unable to eat it. Mind you that it's my son's graduation , so when I called to tell them about the situation they were so rude and inconsiderate. I ordered delivery and they told me the only way to get things situated was to bring the food back myself. When I arrived , there were someone's kids up front in the lobby running around the whole restaurant , kitchen and all. The lady and gentlemen working in the back were definitely talking about me as I was waiting for my food to be remade. Asked for Hunan chicken no vegetables. Was told they can't do "no vegetables" but can make sure there is very light vegetables but they don't like to do that because then it looks like you didn't get a lot of food (which means they are just loading it with vegetables). But I said that was ok I just don't like the vegetables so no need to waste them. Got my meal and it was slam full of vegetables and once I picked them all out there were 4 measly pieces of chicken. I should have listen to my husband and gone somewhere else. First off it took 5 random times of calling in the last 4 months to find a day they had a driver. The guy on the phone was rude as hell. Not just a dialectic issue. He was just rude. He keep saying yea yea I know what you want and would not let us finish talking. We ordered from the restaurant and were very disappointed. To start, the egg rolls were just bad. They were like a wrapper with a few fillings. And were cold and tough. Don't bother We had delivery from Dragon Wok for dinner last night. It was about the worse "Chinese" food we have had. We ordered 2 PuPu for 2, BBQ ribs and 3 dinners. The lo mein was tolerable, ribs were delicious, the fried shrimp and chicken wings seemed like frozen food you could get anywhere. The batter was easily twice the size of the food. None of it was the light batter expected. The shrimp and chicken weren't bad though. The dumplings were horrible. Too much dough and not enough filling. Tasted like leftovers from lunch. They also shorted us one dinner and charged us for the supposedly "free" crab rangoons. they were the best part of the dinner ! We went against most of the reviews. Customer service is somethings that they need to work on. This man tried it today with me over the phone. I called back and asked why they where not delivering and he told me we just are not delivering. I asked why he yelled we are just not can't you understand me. The Dragon Wok usually has pretty good food however, today April 2, 2018, I ordered some food which I was overcharged for by the way but I didn't complain. Once we got our food and left the restaurant, my daughter opened her food in the car and noticed that her General Tso chicken was burned. Well we went right back to the restaurant and I politely talked to the man at the counter and he denied that the chicken was burnt and proceeded to tell me he was not giving me a refund or that he wasn't going to cook me a fresh order. He also mentioned that if I wasn't satisfied , I should call the cops. At this point I was livid but I keep my cool and asked a customer sitting nearby to look at the food and tell me if it looked burnt to him. The gentleman stated that the food was burnt, and at that point I just left the restaurant leaving the burnt food at the counter and vowed to never eat there again. Maybe I caught this place on a bad night but it was some of the worst Chinese I've ever had. I got several things and they were all bad. I got chow fun noodle soup and the noodles were complete mush. The Lo Mein had a faint scent of some sort of cooking fumes and the seafood was bland and overlooked. I only tried this cause I got a menu in my mailbox and it got decent reviews. Ordered Chinese food last night. At home sick today. This placed used to have better quality food. It's been going down hill for some time now. We ordered sesame chicken, the kids said it tasted funny, and general tso's chicken, and several bites tasted like fish, and the rice was unusually spicy. Not good at all. The only item I thought tasted good was the fried egg roll, but those are not too difficult to make well. I am going to find a new place to order from now on.
