Pork Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoons - A plate of fried egg rolls and a plate of fried wontons are placed on a dark wooden table. The egg rolls are cylindrical and golden-brown, while the wontons are irregularly shaped, crispy, and light-colored. The plates are white with a gold rim, and the setting appears to be in a casual dining environment.

My husband and I stopped by here for dinner one night and we've been hearing great things about Dragon Sushi especially their really cool decor! The place was busy but we were greeted right away and had to wait for a seat. We did ask if we could sit at the bar which was fine. It took the staff a couple of minutes to get us water and our menus. Once we ordered, the food came out relatively fast but we did have to remind them about a drink we had ordered. We ordered a couple of appetizers which all were okay. Miso soup had a ton of green onions, I usually like them but not as much as they had. The pork egg rolls and crab Rangoon weren't as crispy as I thought they would normally be. The price for the sushi rolls and all of them being 50% off is a great deal and the sushi rolls were delicious. As we were sitting there waiting for our food, I watched one of the chefs check his phone with gloves on then immediately went back to making sushi, didn't change gloves at all. At the end when we were ready for our check, we got it and had put our credit card down... a server grabbed it immediately and charged our card. Great, no he charged us the wrong table. Thankfully, we got it taken care of immediately and they voided the charge of another table. We also noticed a good amount of flies flying around the restaurant, not sure if it was because of the weather and the sliding door but it wasn't great knowing flies were flying around near our food. We were given three togo boxes and only used two. I set the extra one off to the side and immediately noticed a small bug crawling inside there, it was gross. I think this place has a ton of potential but needs to fix some stuff before it can really strive.

Dinner - The image shows the interior of a restaurant decorated with numerous hanging paper lanterns in various colors, including pink, red, yellow, and white, each with Japanese characters and designs. The walls are covered with posters and artwork, many featuring Japanese text, traditional imagery, and anime characters. There are tables set with soy sauce bottles, and a few patrons are seated, enjoying their meals. The overall ambiance is vibrant and themed around Japanese culture.

Let's start with the positive. The place is very Vibey a great little decorative spot. The manager seemed to have awareness of what was happening in the restaurant, but not very responsive. The waiter needs to maybe find another profession got upset when we walked in because we asked how long orders were taking because we were on a time crunch after asking a question he didn't want to service anymore so he had someone else service and then she was crabby so it just kind of ruined the whole meal. The sashimi was paper thin the soy sauce was disgusting and the Philadelphia rolls were pretty good. Not sure what was inside of them had an extra ingredient, but the food wasn't the problem. The problem was the staff miso soup was the best part of the meal and the eggrolls. Those were pretty tasty. This restaurant is on the right track, but probably needs to find better personnel because customer service is half the battle in a restaurant and after the way we were treated I won't be back. I wish you better luck, order, eggrolls, and miso soup. Those are good and a for effort with the manager While he was nonverbal about his awareness he tried quietly to address the situation poorly. I must say, but tried.

Located in the same building right next door to where Fork and Fig was located. I dropped by to check out Dragon Sushi for an early dinner on Saturday afternoon. Staff was nice and friendly, but the service was terrible. We were greeted at the door, but had to wait for some tables to be cleaned. One of the servers sat us down and gave us a menu. We tried flagging down our server to let her know we were ready to give our order, but the staff seemed busy and flustered. 15 minutes later one of the staff members told our server to go check on us and she finally picked up our order. We ordered chicken dumplings as an appetizer and three sushi rolls. Unfortunately we received our three rolls first and tried flagging down someone to let them know we hadn't received our chicken dumplings. We weren't even halfway through our rolls, and another server dropped off our check. I let him know we didn't receive our dumplings. Another staff team member dropped by with our dumplings and said he would take it off our bill which was nice. We also had to flag down a server for refills. As for the food, I enjoyed each roll. The surf and turf was unique. I've never had steak on top of my sushi before. California is always a sure thing and I forget what the other roll was called, but it had green chile and shrimp. For 50% off each roll, the sushi was definitely worth the price. I don't like giving such a low rating, but the service needs improvement. Other tables were getting frustrated with the servers not checking on customers or having to flag down for service. I would probably do takeout next time and skip dining in.

Crispy tuna rice - A plate of six sushi pieces is presented on a dark, textured ceramic plate. Each piece is topped with orange fish roe, sesame seeds, and a dark sauce. The sushi appears to be a type of deep-fried or battered roll, garnished with crunchy toppings. The plate is placed on a wooden table, with part of a person's hand and a small bowl of sauce visible nearby.

We've been to Dragon Sushi on Eubank before and we couldn't wait too long to try them in their new location. I was glad they kept the same decor and vibe! It is always a joy to see all those colorful signs hanging from the ceiling. It is clear that the staff is new, but they were trying hard being on top of the orders and apologetic for delays. The menu is slightly different but still has many of the yummy ole great rolls. The rolls continue to be big, tasty, excellent, and half-off! It's always difficult for me to remember my order after the fact but I have some pictures for everyone to guess and try them. Overall, other than a delay in service, the rest of our experience was comparable to the old Dragon Sushi, making it an easy choice for our sushi cravings

Ambiance - The image shows a restaurant interior decorated with traditional Japanese paper lanterns in various colors, including white, green, and red, hanging from the ceiling. Red and white striped fabric covers the ceiling, and numerous banners with Japanese writing are displayed, some with prices listed. A television screen is visible in the background, and the overall decor suggests a Japanese-themed dining environment.

Went to try out a new sushi spot in town and didn't disappoint. Located in the heart of Albuquerque at uptown. It's small and full of character. They are doing half off all rolls probably as promotion so get while you can. Rolls are very good size and delicious. Service was on it for being as busy at it was. I can see this place staying busy for a long time. Get in while you can and they are hoping to get their liquor license soon.

A takeout container holds three sushi rolls topped with sesame seeds, with a small cup of green sauce in the center. The sushi appears to contain various fillings, and the container is placed on a wooden table. Additional takeout boxes are visible in the background.

My buddy bring some big sushi roll to our family party from dragon sushi , that is crazy how 80% of the roll are rice, and some weird taste cheese inside the roll, and I think there are egg inside roll instead of fish, and some crunchy inside spicy tuna, omg it was awful , very small amount fish, we end up didn't ate any of it , don't want get sick be honest, it's not my type of sushi

A ceramic plate features an assortment of sushi rolls with various toppings and garnishes. Some rolls are topped with green onions, fish roe, and sesame seeds, while others have a drizzle of sauce. The plate is placed on a table with chopsticks resting on the side, and a person wearing a white T-shirt is partially visible in the background.

Worst Sushi ever!!! A truly regrettable experience... I can't even describe it enough how bad this place is. Read all of the raving reviews and after dining here, I had to laugh at all of these people saying this place was so good. "Best sushi in town"??? LMFAO!!! All I can think of is how many flies were all over me, my food, all of my family dining with me and I can't imagine what the kitchen looks like. We saw the prices and thought, wow what a great deal. We got our food and had to try it, but ultimately ended up leaving everything on our plates, paid our check and left. The sushi rolls are 80% rice. Their sashimi/sushi is cut the thickness of a steak. OMG!!! I don't even want to waste anymore time on this review. Absolutely will never be back!

Our togo order: red dragon, double salmon, spicy tuna, nigiri and dumplings. All under $40!

The final price (paying with cash) was $102.32 before the tip, which seems very fair given the size of the portions and the quality. The fish was not the very highest quality, but it was very good. The wasabi was some of (if not) the best that I've ever had. The soy and eel sauces were made in-house, and were excellent. Presumably, the rest of the sauces were house-made as well. Leo was a very good and friendly server. The atmosphere was very relaxed but could be suitable for something fancier. The one thing that hurts is the price; as fair as it is, I do wish that it were a smidgen less.

The two rolls I ordered were better than last time. One was The Green Dragon (i think) using Avacado instead of seaweed. The other was Lobster Dance which is scallops and lobster. The Green dragon was okay. The Lobster Dance would have been a lot better without the overpowering sauce. The nigir were okay, but I prefer my nigiri to not have a lot sauce and all three I ordered were heavily covcered in their cloying (oyster based?) sauce. The Monkey Balls were meh, I've had way better here. The Seaweed Salad was excellent which I think was true last time. I guess I still need to try the in restaurant experience, but based on the food alone I'm not sure it would be great. If anyone has a great place they like let me know!!!

That's why Sakura Sushi & Grill stood out right away. They clearly label gluten-free options on the menu. They also offer gluten-free soy sauce, which is a huge win. Even better, they have lunch specials with gluten-free options, which is rare. It's located in Riverside Plaza in Albuquerque, just past the river on the west side. I ordered the Sushi Lunch A with premium fish and chose the double salmon roll. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the portions were great for the price. The miso soup that comes with lunch isn't gluten-free, but they brought me a side salad with an amazing gluten-free dressing instead. I felt confident eating here, which is not something I say often. I didn't have any reaction afterward and would absolutely eat here again. One of the coolest surprises: they make their own wasabi in-house. It's not on the menu, but if you ask, they'll bring it out, and it is absolutely worth it. We considered getting a sushi boat, but the lunch specials were a better value for lunch. If we went for dinner, we would absolutely order a boat. I also had hot sake, which paired perfectly with the meal. At the end, they even brought us a sweet cinnamon tea for my friend's birthday, even though we didn't order dessert. Service was warm and attentive the entire time. My friend has a shellfish allergy, and the server made sure her plate only included fin fish, which we really appreciated. We went around 1:30 p.m. on a Tuesday, and it was quiet with only a few other tables. The atmosphere felt calm and relaxed, with a casual, comfortable vibe that made it easy to sit and actually enjoy a conversation without feeling rushed. They close at 3 and reopen for dinner, so it's a great low-key lunch spot if you time it right. My friend also mentioned she brings her young kids here often, and the woman manager or owner is especially kind and welcoming to them. I enjoyed this place so much that I called my husband on the way home to tell him all about it. We're already planning to go back with our kids, which will make this my second visit in one week. If you're gluten-free, this place is a gem. And even if you're not, the quality, service, and overall experience make it absolutely worth a visit.
