The food always comes out piping hot and fresh. We have never been disappointed here.

They have the best sushi around. Food has always been consistent. Serving sizes has always been large. Best Chinese food in town.

I doubt there is a freezer here for anything except ice cream.

I haven't written a review in a long long time, just haven't had the time, but I had to make the…read moretime to write one for this restaurant. The kiddo and I differ on food we like to eat, and I am no fan of Chinese food. We went out there for dinner because we needed to pick one of her co-workers up for work later that evening as it is nearly 40 miles away from his job and he was going to have to WALK to work...not today...I digress...back to the review. I personally chose this place based mostly on the recommendation of another reviewer who posted on 03/18/2018, she said it was pretty decent and I saw pictures from what other users posted. I went in fully expecting that I was going to be disappointed and leave hungry, that was not the case at all. While they do have a lot of Chinese style offerings, they also had items including meatloaf, baked potatoes, macaroni and cheese (not good in my opinion), fried chicken, red beans and similar American foods as well. I stuck mostly to the meatloaf, which was absolutely outstanding, I'm still sitting here in shock that it was so good. The kiddo of course sampled all kinds of Chinese/Thai food including the sushi which she raved about - I'll take her word, I don't eat the stuff, no seafood for me...I also had some potatoes that were sautéed with onions, those were good on their own, but then had some that touched the ketchup on the meatloaf and these were BETTER, I got more of those and added ketchup, yum yum! The red beans were very tasty too, they were made in house...not canned and even after putting them on top of plain white rice, they needed no additional seasoning (salt and pepper). I don't eat much, so that just about did me in, though I did have a small salad, a bit of macaroni salad, that was good too, but I couldn't figure out what kind of meat was in it, it was not tuna, and I don't think it was chicken, but I picked that out just in case and just had the rest of the salad. They have a whole bar dedicated to dessert and we had a sampling of a little of almost everything, the carrot cake was not good, though the icing was delicious, we had some ice cream and some rendition of ambrosia, which was VERY good and of course, almond cookies - my absolute fav at any Chinese buffet. While I have no reason to go to Bogulsa, but if I found myself there again, I would definitely go there to eat again. They are open long hours, 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., seven days a week and it's open until 10:30 p.m. on Saturday so you can definitely find it open. If you want some where to go that's going to fill you up and not leave you broke, this is it. 2 buffets, with two drinks and a generous tip came out to $30.00 total.

This place is dirty and the food is nasty. We ate there and we both got food poisoning from it…read more Will never be back again. We also ran into two other people who ate there and was sick in the ER with us.

Had the "dinner portion" General Tso. Good portions, came with sweet & sour soup, wonton chips, an…read moreegg roll, a crab rangoon, and pork fried rice. Price was $17.38 with tax. S&S soup is delicious. Mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and tofu pieces. Wonton chips are fresh and not stale. Crab Rangoon's filling had almost no distinct flavor but the texture was good, as well as the perfectly crispy wrapper. Egg roll was ok, again fried to perfection but the filling flavor was non-descript. Pork Fried Rice came automatically with the dish. It's good. I think it's a specialty of theirs which is why it was standard (as in, customers automatically opt for it) and not plain white rice. I'm not sure if it was an upgrade charge or not. It was just automatically entered. General Tso chicken tastes like funnel cake. Powdered sugar flavor, fried bread, slight honey or vanilla. Hint of pepper. It's very tasty but not what I think of when I think General Tso. Overall this is better than some Chinese restaurants in the area. I honestly cannot say one is head and shoulders above another. We usually do Yun Long because we know what they're good at and what they're not, and Yun Long is consistent. We really like Ichiban the best but that is all the way in Picayune. Give them a shot. Do a small meal to make sure you like them. My wife and I shared this one rather than getting two full meals from a restaurant we've never tried. It filled us both up!
