Food is cooked to order, we usually call order in and by time we get there food is being dished up, fresh and hot. Staff is friendly service is good seating/dining area is clean. Nice ambiance, questionable pricing but we still love the food. read more

I always get the same thing and each time is the same flavor and how the way I order it for take-out. They are quick and fully staffed in the kitchen. read more

Trying different places in Laplace and I must say this place was magnificent. I've been looking for a good Chinese restaurant without going to the city and this is it. As you can see from the pictures they don't miss a beat with the portion size. I got home and meal prepped this one plate for 3 days. The steak was so tender and juicy. The rice wasn't over cooked or hard. It was just right. And you know when you rewarm Chinese rice it's hard the next day. That was not the case. A day later it still had its freshness read more

In recent months, the food quality has gone down. They are very little or no vegetables in the fried rice.. it's just not the same

The owner was really rude telling me that she's been in business for a long time, and it is not in their policy to remake or refund any meal. Especially because she said it was not her employees fingernail tip because the nail that was in the food, was dirty and that they don't have long fingernails anyway, and they never cook without gloves (meanwhile the guy was in there cooking without gloves on at the time we bought the food back) read more

Amazingly FRESH classic Chinese food, provided by amazingly nice people. Try everything you won't regret it. read more

The food is not the same as good as it used to be and the price has went through the roof. This used to be our go to place not anymore.

I stopped in for a taste because I was in the mood for shrimp fried rice. I got the 4 whole fried chicken wings with shrimp fried rice. The fried chicken was delicious. It was perfectly fried and seasoned well. The shrimp fried rice was bland. However, after I added a dash of salt and two packages of duck sauce it tasted good. In my opinion, it's not a good place to dine in but it's great for takeout. I didn't have to wait long for my food to arrive and service was pretty good. read more

Dragon Garden Restaurant - 4 Whole Wings and Shrimp Fried Rice - Chinese Near Me - Laplace, Louisiana

Stuff is just plain good! I love the food and the amount. Can feed 4-5 people with two meals. Great delicious value!

Every Chinese food place I have to try the General Tso's and theirs was really good, nice sized portions and decently priced. Will order again read more

Great prices. Food always good and hot. And they're super quick and convenient. Def recommend

Good food. Plenty of plate specials. Definitely one of the 'go-tos' in the area. Not the best fried rice, but hey they make up for it with the other items they prepare i.e. Chow-mein, lo-mein, chicken dishes (per my companion), beef & broccoli & the ribs; just to list a few. Ample portions sizes for sharing. Fair pricing. Quick preparation (like Fast Food of the Chinese Food World). Rather than taking your name, they place your order under your phone number. Sounds corny & a no-brainer, but it works. read more

Huge portions but over rated. Customer service is nonexistent. Taste is nothing special a bit bland. Paid 35$ gor two plates.

Trash, found something in my food that was some sort of a bug, maybe a roach, will report them and never eat there again.

Great place for quick take out. Orders are ready in about 10 - 15 minutes and they are always friendly. Do not like the atmosphere for dining in but is a good take out spot. They also seem to always be home whether or not it is a holiday. read more

There are amazing, plus the food and the way they give everyone there good and keep everyone save is just amazing I would go to eat there everyday if I could. read more

Really REALLY good chinese food. These people are on the ball with what is good to eat. Fried Rice is not as good as say Chinese King, but their Mandarin chicken is absolutely lights out. I also appreciate the packaging they use for to-go orders. Again, another one of those Chinese joints that proves Louisiana has some of the best Chinese food in the nation. read more

Very disappointed! Overpriced! I was charged 14.80 for a lunch plate that I was told was 8.99 and 1 single eggroll!!

The best vegetable rice! Fried chicken is perfect! Homemade duck sauce is the best! I've tried many places. Their shrimp fried rice is great as well. Not many places competing with them! Whatever you request they do it perfectly! Great choice read more

This is my husband's and my favorite Chinese food place. I'm addicted to the sesame chicken and the crab ragoons. Everything is always hot and fresh and delicious! This is our go-to take out place. read more

I love the orange chicken and beef and broccoli. The prices are reasonable. The staff can be a little rude at times. My kids favorite is their shrimp fried rice. read more

Great restaurant for take out. I always get the house special fried rice and egg rolls. No frills just good food.

Worst boneless chicken and vegetables I ever had. Only have two stars because the fried rice was good.

This place is terrible they worry about talking more then customer service. I ordered paid in cash and waited over 30min just for them to tell me o I forgot. This is the second time it has happened. All they do is talk not professional at all. Do not eat here if you plan to eat they will forget your order. You will not be a happy customer. Worst place I've been to. read more

They have the nastiest rice I have ever tasted in my life. My boyfriend told my family and I that it was so good and we all were so let down! They force you to get pork fried rice instead of shrimp as the standard. read more

Great food. We have this at least once a month. We get takeout. They don't talk too much, call and we order orange chicken and lo mein. It's is the best. One to go plate feeds us both and We have some for lunch. My brother from Texas always has us take him a plate when we go visit because he loves it. The orange chicken have real orange slices in it. It's amazing! read more

Terrible. Gave the 1 star bc I had to to leave a review. Spend $70 on dinner for 3 (2 adults, 1 child)...food is absolute garbage. No flavor, not hot, staff is a joke. The styrofoam and plastic cutlery was a nice touch. Will not go again. Will post daily for every dollar spent. Do not waste your time or money read more

This place is a hole in the wall, but that is because it's not some fine dining restaurant it's laid back and the food is amazing! You will get full! You will have leftovers and it is fresh, made to order and some of the best Chinese food I have ever had! I love the crab rangoons, the mandarin chicken, the seasame chicken and the soups, will definitely be back. read more

Great food here! Fast service, friendly workers, and hot, fresh food. Doesn't get much better than that.

I often pick up food from this restaurant. The food is good. It's counter service so it is what it is. I have never had a problem until this past Tuesday night. I phoned it my order and had my daughter go and pick it up. When she arrived home I quickly realized the order was wrong after I had eaten the egg roll that came with it. I called back to let them know the order was wrong. We were told to bring the item back for the correct item. They did not start cooking the order until we got there! They made no apologies for the mistake! The guy at the counter made it seem like it was our fault for the mix up! No apologies no compensation for the wait and no replacement egg roll! I have no intention of dining there again and will let everyone know how rude and unprofessional they were. They might want to consider having someone who speaks clear english taking the phone orders it might cut down on the confusion. Just a thought. If you advertise a special on the wall behind the cashier he or she should know what it is! read more
