The truffle mushroom stood out to me because the dumpling was packed with mushroom duxelle, and the aroma of truffle was evident as soon as I transferred the dumpling to my plate. I also liked the rice roll more so than usual because the Chinese doughnut inside remained crispy. Sometimes the roll gets drenched in so much sauce that you lose that textural difference. Not here! And there was a good amount of pork floss on top too. Egg tarts are a dim sum classic, but typically it's not the Portuguese version. I don't mind that they broke from tradition! The custard was smooth and not-too-sweet and the crust was sooooo buttery and flaky. I don't go out for dim sum as much anymore because it's often too expensive for what you get. I've been to other places where you're double whammied with shrinkflation AND additional costs (tea charge, condiment charge, etc.). Jade Palace does charge for tea, but that's it. The food very fresh and well cooked. During the holiday, the restaurant also provide free deserve to us. Very excellent customer services. The price of the food is a little bit expensive.
