I only get their tamalas, which come four ways (that I know of): beef, chicken, pork with red sauce and pork with green sauce (spicier). I always get the chicken and green pork. Unlike these places in Columbus, Ohio (yeah, I said it), they give you a HEALTHY portion of meat at a much better price! They must literally make thousands each day, because the line for the tamales is always long and people buy serveral dozen at a time. When you ask for your type, they go back and wrap them while you wait. The end result is a (very) hot package of twelve. You can literally eat them on the way home. The masa (breading) is perfect, yet in no way, dominates the meat. Can't say the same about these other spots that seem to rip you off. My only disappointment is that their price jumped from $7 to $12 per dozen, which is a significant increase. However, it has been 2 years since my last visit, so between inflation and business they might have lost during the height of the pandemic, it's understandable. But then again, $12/dozen is still a fair price for such as good tasting item. I bought 5 dozen, at two dozen and froze rest, which will be quite tasty when I decide to heat thaw and reheat them. I gave a dozen to one of my sons and his girfriend, who sent me a motion clip of her enjoying it. She told me that it took her back to her childhood in Vegas, where they also make wonderful tamales.
