I will start this review by saying I went to their old location and LOVED IT. This was a mediocre experience. We arrived on a Friday night and we were told 1.5 wait which for us was not a big deal because we were waiting on friends. This place is noticeable smaller than the old location and standing room in the bar is at a premium. It was difficult to get to the bar and the bartender insisted on only making our drinks one at a time which was strange. The drink quality is high though and the two $10~ beverages I had (old fashion and secretariat) were delicious. After waiting for a long time (the full 1.5 hours) we were seated in the back room corner. I ordered the mussels with fries because I was starving at this point. For $18 the meal was really good food quality wise and portion size. The mussels were served in a butter type sauce with fries in the same container. A small loaf of bread and aioli came with it as well. I loved my meal. Sadly my husband's portion size of scallops was tiny with three scallops. He had to end up sharing part of my meal. His meal was $26. I would not recommend coming here if you are in a rush or are tight on budget. I did like my meal but other's had less than stellar meals. It was hit or miss if you will. read more

Food was so good ! Service was great and we will definitely be back. We had the pretzel and potstickers to start (to die for) then I had the special grilled cheese with lobster bisque soup. Hubby had the caprese burger. Brother had the SBLTA sandwich and sister in law had the burger sliders. Fries were cooked perfectly with aioli garlic sauce and then I had the tiramisu for desert. The food was excellent and it's obvious the chef is very talented. Nothing but praise for the kitchen and the food. The service is sub par, at best. Our waitress was not attentive and made no effort to engage. We were a large table and I guess she figured that she was already getting her 20% tip so why bother with good service. We made reservations and we were seated. We had appetizers and ordered right away. It took a long time for our food, which isn't a big deal. We were happy to have drinks and enjoy our apps. The food was worth the wait. But we were informed that we had to be done by 7. Ok, well we got our food at 630 so it felt like we had to rush to finish. They didn't ask if we wanted dessert. They just wanted to flip the table. Like I said the food is amazing but they need to have better service. read more

We took our dinner group on Friday night, my 3rd time here. I decided to splurge and have the 28 day aged sirloin. Mistake! Waited all week and could only eat half the dinner. It wasn't tender at all and was difficult to cut with a steak knife. They did comp half the cost. Well, 2 out of 3 isn't bad but from now on I'll keep it simpler. Tried Draft Gastropub based on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. It was busy but we were seated quickly after ordering drinks at the bar. We ordered the crab cakes for an appetizer which had great flavor but we did not care for them being deep fried. We both ordered steaks, one off the menu and one special. They were both incredible and paired with amazing sides. The freshness and attention to detail in the dishes is top notch. We will definitely be back here and can't wait to try some more of the items on the menu! read more

Came here for lunch. Beer list is solid. We had the empanadas and tuna tartare for small plates. And split the gastro tacos for entree. The tenderloin taco was probably the best thing we had. The tuna tartare needed some more spice, but was good nonetheless. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped here for dinner and it was delish! Every step of our visit was pleasant...even the hostess greeting us, who was very funny and friendly. Our food was amazing! We started with the potstickers for an app. Then, I had the lobster mac and cheese which was phenomenal and my boyfriend had the Margherita pizza which he seemed to like. On a side note, I ordered an old fashioned which turned out to be basically straight whiskey...definitely not what I was expecting. We stopped here on a Tuesday about 12:30 pm. Parking lot was full and they were busy. The hostess said it was 20-25 min wait for a table but they came and got us in about 5 min. The menu had a lot of unique choices. The waitress came to our table right away. I chose the Bourbon burger and my wife had the Bourbon chicken bowl. Both were nice size and were excellent. So although this place seems a little expensive at first, I think it is worth it. read more

My first time dining here celebrating an achievement my sister reached. It a nice restaurant with a small dining patio attached. Food and service was excellent. When I ordered my Whisky BBQ Burger I asked for the chipotle aioli to be put on the side, so I could try it, as I usually don't eat aioli sauces. When the food came, the aioli was on the burger. Even though I didn't like the aioli I still ate it but the kitchen needs to be more careful when reading the orders. Again the burger, despite the aioli, tasted good. You know how return visits to a restaurant you liked initially turn out disappointing? Well that's not the case with Draft. We've been there close to ten times and have always been delighted. It's definitely our go-to place when we're up for a great dining experience. Last night we took some friends from CA to Draft for dinner, and they shared our enthusiasm. Delicious food, amazing presentation, outstanding service, and a lively vibe are the consistent characteristics. Our server last night was Rose, and she was friendly, professional, and helpful. Our friends are gluten free eaters, and Rose gave excellent guidance on what they could order. We started with a charcuterie board for the four of us to share, and Rose made sure to bring the gluten containing items separately so that my wife and I could enjoy them. I had the French Dip sandwich, again, and if there's a better one any place on the planet, please let me know. One caveat: the restaurant is extremely popular and always busy, so make reservations if you can't handle a long wait. read more

I've never eaten here because the one time I went in, I immediately walked back out. The tables are so right on top of each other that there's no way you're having a conversation with your co-diner without including your table neighbors or them including you. Draft has become our favorite restaurant! We have been there several times and the food never disappoints! The presentation is very artistic and high quality. You can tell they are particular when they select their ingredients. I particularly love the margarita pizza and my husband loves their steaks. The giant pretzel and the cheese sauce are both so amazing. The salads are fresh and generous. We also love the burgers and chicken and waffles. The French fries are so good and get the fun aioli. Ordering to-go is almost impossible as every time we've tried to order via the phone it rings and rings until it goes to voicemail, even after calling multiple times at different times of the day. Beer was good. But Dearest Matthew our bartender; when the menu states "brick oven pizzeria" one is led to believe it's a brick oven you're cooking in. The pizza was terrible. When questioned if it was in fact cooked in a brick oven, Matthew fires back "I've watched them cook pizzas and I've never seen a brick oven." The menu clearly shows "brick oven pizzeria" your attitude wasn't appreciated and if it weren't for the fact that you forgot to put our second round of drinks on the bill, you would have had NO tip. Let's start with my best experiences which were with the original location on Oneida st. At the new location, 1 out of 3 meals have been good. I had a Champagne salad that was okay but very skimpy on the chicken, goat cheese, well everything wa skimpy but the greens. Also tried the Gastro Tacos, very dry tortilla shells, and extremely skimpy. Went with friends Saturday 1/13/18, with at least 1.5 hour wait for our table because they never called us for our table. We went up to inquire and were told they had already called us with no response. We told them they never came for us. It would have been hard to miss the call if they had actually called us, we were hungry and waiting. Hardly apologetic to say the least was the hostess, a woman with gray longer hair, on the short and heavy side and grouchy. We were distressed by that experience! Our waiter was very good, food was good. Three of us had hamburgers and one waffle chicken appetizer. It took until we got our food to recover from our hostess. It just left us with a bad taste in our mouth, hence the review. read more

We called asked for a reservation, person who answered phone said no need. When we arrived 10 minutes later we were told 20 minute wait. We informed them we had just called. We walked out. I feel we were lied to. Didn't even get a chance to taste food. **** We decided to try this place again last night, I am grateful that we did, Service was fantastic and food tasted great! If you have had a negative experience, I would recommend giving it a second chance. This could become one of our favorite places in the valley. read more

Amazing food with mind blowing presentation. The staff is kind of strange, but they know what they're doing. Make sure to make reservations because this place fills up quick. The tuna tar tar comes with a billowing pile of smoke that leaves the best flavor on the fish. You will want to get your camera out to capture that dish. Meh once again. Hubby and I stopped in before the dinner hour for an app and a couple of drinks. My gripes, once again, this place is dirty dirty dirty. Side of the bar that is visible from the entry was stacked high with dirty drink glasses, empty tables in the dining room full with dirty glasses. Carpet dirty with crumbs although I will say that there was a waitress trying to clean the carpet with a carpet sweeper. The hostess chose to seat us at a table which had not been swept under. Ordered the $10 giant pretzel app which had bland cheese sauce and a nondescript mustard something that could easily have been some flavor of French's.
