The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I had my 7 month old son with me and they helped to entertain him when he got cranky in the exam room. April helped me pick out a winner pair of glasses to suit my face shape. They are truly wonderful here. read more

My husband had a appointment and they called to change the appointment asking him to come in earlier. He could not leave work. ( claiming that he needed a longer appt because of his age). I was told the person who scheduled the appt was not familiar with their store policies. I scheduled a appointment elsewhere and wrote a review. I received a call from the district manager Andi and she offered a $30 discount and a free glass care kit. I told her I would think about it. I received a call the next day from the store manager Amber she offered me a reflective coating free...in addition to the previous offer. I explained that I really needed the glasses the next week we were planning a vacation. She said she would put a rush on them.and we should have them back the next week. Went to scheduled appt at 6:30 did not get seen until 7:30 ( keep in mind we were told previously that he needed a longer appt due to his age.) He had his eye exam and glasses picked out and we left the store before the 8 pm closing time. Paid for the glasses no $30 discount. On Monday I noticed the receipt said plastic lenses not glass..requested they be changed to glass. Did not receive the glasses early.....it took 3 weeks to get them. When I spoke to Andi she said the delay was due to a equipment breakdown which the store manger did not mention during our conversations about when the glasses would be ready. Picked up the glasses ( no discount, no glass care kit) the sun tint is extremely light. My husband took them into be checked and the clerk said it was verily there, she would let Amber know. Did not hear from anyone just phoned the excuse I was given about the tinting was that the lenses are glass and they won't tint any darker. That's strange my glasses are several times darker ....his old glasses are several times darker.... Long story ....lesson learned if you have a bad feeling don't give them your business. read more

I have recently brought my two kids and myself into the New Castle office. We worked with Chris and Tanner all three times and they have been amazing! They were very helpful helping us pick out glasses and making sure that we get the right ones for all of us. The doctor is pretty nice, but receptionists act like bothers them to help you. Lord forbid they have to change or update something in their computer. I do not like to feel like I am an inconvenience to anyone. They also don't mind talking about you at the desk when they think you can't hear them. Just plain rude. We did not feel welcome, and we will not be back EVER. read more

Worst eye care center in New Castle, and by far the worst eye care center i've ever been to. I went there on Sept. 5, 2014 for an eye exam to get new glasses and contacts. Here it is Sept. 30, 2014, and they still haven't ordered my glasses or contacts! They keep giving me the run around. Yeah...that's the way to keep your patients coming in!!! Needless to say, they gave me my prescription, and i'm going to the eye doctor i should've went to in the first place! IDIOTS!!!! read more

Went once, and I'll never be back. Whoever was helping me, Erica, Emily or something along those lines was incredibly rude. She rolled her eyes and sighed when I told her I was a new patient so we'd have to fill out some new paperwork and she pointed me to the receptionist who handed me the clipboard. Then Erica told me to have a seat and scoffed at me when I sat in the "wrong" chair. If we're doing new patient paperwork, then obviously I've never been there before, so how was I supposed to know the waiting room was around the corner? Thankfully, someone else did my pretesting and she was a sweetheart. Then the eye exam itself was informative and the doctor was very nice and willing to answer my questions and things really started to look up. Then it was time to buy glasses and everything went downhill as soon as I got stuck with the girl from the beginning again. Apparently she was going to be selling me my glasses and the effort she was going to have to exert had just ruined her day. She was very short, and not helpful at all. I didn't even realize I was looking in the opposite gender's section for 10 minutes. She started rushing me along and sighing when I'd put a pair back down. I even tried to ask her opinion on how I looked in a pair and she said "Ew, no. Those look really bad on you." I was actually offended because I had really liked the pair. Once I had picked a pair, she kept pushing for me to get the gold package, I told her I had no need for that much extra and she would not let it go. I understand they like to sell the better packages, but she pushed it way too far and put down all the other packages. After I paid, she said Yay, that will make for a nice bonus." and under her breath she added "would've been nicer if you'd gotten the gold." I just couldn't believe anyone would be so openly rude. I talked to the little girl at the front desk to see if I could speak to a manager and IT WAS HER! I couldn't believe it. That would have been such a nice visit to a new place if it wasn't for that manager. There is no way I would let someone like that represent my company and I don't know if she was having a bad day, or always acts like that but she should have more a better business sense and some maturity. read more

Jill Smith explained everything she was doing during the testing and went the extra mile to set me up with the best quality glasses for my needs and financial situation.
