Great selection of styles and sizes. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Can't ship/order out of the store.

Do yourself a favor and go buy from a different Dr. Martens store. Everything was going great until it wasn't. The employee who was tall, skinny, had a tooth gem, brown skinned, curly hair, wearing the new pascal made in England dead stock boots was the most TWO-FACED person I have ever encountered! Such a fake person. Her attitude completely changed after telling her I was going to wait on purchasing them. She replied by saying "Okay fine you can leave now" and pointed to the door. She even went far enough to bump into me on purpose on my way out. Her coworkers were smirking at us on our way out after she bumped me. They should hire more genuine employees. I would give ZERO STARS if I could.

    New docs!

Awesome shoes and good service! I've been wearing doc martens since high school and I haven't purchased a pair in four years due to the fact that I had three already. However, since there aren't any doc stores in the Northern California area that I'm aware of, I went in on a whim. I saw a few limited edition designs that looked cool and unique, something from a cartoon. But what caught my eye was an ankle boot red pair of docs with zippers and lace. The lace was obviously now just for show. The leather was that beautiful crimson red leather and the design I believed was called naturesse. They always fitted beautifully and docs are extremely easy to move in regardless if you broke them in or not. I decided to buy them and bring them home as an early birthday present to myself and I absolutely love wearing them all the time!

Came from the Herald Square store where the holiday shoppers took over the experience. Upon entering the Soho location I was lucky enough to be helped by the store manager Athena. Not only did she answer all my questions but also pulled additional shoes after my decision had been made, simply so I could be certain of my choice. 10/10 will be buying from this location in the future due to the easy experience and friendliness of staff.

This location was clean and had 3 people working the floor so every person got individual attention. Shout out to Jordan who was extremely professional, helpful, and friendly. He answered all my questions and provided tips for getting accustomed to my new docs. I wouldn't have believed he only started working there two weeks ago if he hadn't mentioned it to me.

Best news I had all day: Doc Martens is making vegan shoes again.

Horrible customer service. I wondered around for 10 minutes and then finally helped myself after being over looked by 4 employees.

Definitely in the spirit of genuine, retail exchange. Some old school salesman sealed the deal.

Note that I've previously stepped inside the shop to survey the selection, and last night I stopped in for what was only supposed to be a quick moment... The owner greeted me and almost immediately started talking prices. This is $20 dollars and we have that for $25 dollars, but this is a little more expensive, and that's this price. Oh, that fascinator is beautiful on you and you can put it layaway. It was just $79 dollars, mind you. Excuse me? It's such a turn-off when people see brown skin and assume that the purchase would be unaffordable without a payment plan! Not to mention, I started off by noting that I was only taking a quick peek on my way to pick up my Nordstrom purchase. Though I promptly told her that I don't need layaway and I pay for things outright, I had already decided that I wouldn't be buying from there. Her fixation on talking to me about price was all I needed to hear. Nothing disgusts me more than when people make assumptions! I have beautiful vintage hats in my collection, fine jewelry and quality costume jewelry, and beautiful bags that I've purchased abroad. She could've had a repeat customer who prioritizes quality goods and, more importantly, quality service.

My order arrived with missing items despite paying oversized shipping and waiting days for delivery. Since then, I've been stuck in an endless cycle of apologies with almost no action. After nearly a week of emailing back and forth, I was asked to provide my order details again. Why? The entire email trail already contains everything they need. Instead of reviewing the case history, each representative seems to start from scratch, wasting the customer's time because they can't be bothered to read their own correspondence. Muji has mastered the art of apologizing without actually resolving anything. Every response is filled with sympathy and promises to "look into it," yet there is no urgency whatsoever to fix a mistake that was entirely their responsibility. Once they have your money, you're left waiting while your case sits in limbo. For a company that promotes quality and simplicity, their customer service is anything but. Poor communication, zero ownership, endless delays, and customers forced to repeatedly chase for updates. Paying extra for oversized shipping clearly doesn't translate to better service when something goes wrong. If you're lucky enough to receive your order intact, you'll probably have a good experience. But if there's a problem, don't expect Muji to treat it like a priority. Based on my experience, their customer service is all apologies and no accountability.

I feel like it's free aromatherapy because they have tons of diffusers going on but never overwhelming. I also appreciate this location is wheelchair accessible. The employees are helpful and never pushy. It has the usual stock of home goods and clothing for men and women, but I don't think this location is particularly large if you're looking for the full array of what Muji offers.
