I love the fact that he draws my blood. I abominate trips to the lab and the wait there too.

Hard to make appointment. direction to doctors is confusion. NP could not diagnose, nor get help. an hour later told to made an appointment with an eye Dr. my solution was a visit to the MAYO CLINIC website, solution provided instantly. as others have also said, other INOVA practices get good rating . others have said it has become too large and unconcerning . I agree. Do not recommend this practice.

Parking was probably the hardest part at this location, as I'm used to going to Reston or Tysons Corner, where parking is very close to the office. Once I found parking in a lot about a quarter-mile away and walked to the office, I realized I couldn't get in without pushing an intercom button. Again, not something I was used to at the other offices that I've been to. But once I got inside, checked in, and let them know that I was trying to get lab work before my visits, they took care of signing me in for both and getting me set up. The lab tech took me back shortly after, and it was someone I knew from the Reston office. After finishing with the lab tech, the nurse practitioner quickly called me back, took care of the reason I was seeing her, and had me quickly on my way to my next appointment. I can't say enough about One Medical as a practice, and I highly recommend you give them a try if you need primary care or a new doctor.

My absolute favorite doctor Dr. Lim has left the practice so I've been hopping around whoever has been available and have found each person that I have met has been incredibly kind, smart, and sensitive to whatever issues I am facing at the time. The back and forth communication between the app is amazing and has saved me hours of my life .. and the ability to make same day appointments is life changing. They have a children's practice as well, which I am highly considering switching to as I can see it being easy to schedule sick and well visits, get doctors notes, etc. My company used to pay One Medical Group as a benefit but it is so good that I continue to pay out of pocket. I am so glad that Amazon has purchased the company to make this type of quality health care more accessible for all.

However, I later received an unexpected separate office visit charge in addition to the preventive exam billing. My concern was not the care itself, but the lack of transparency regarding billing. During the wellness visit, the provider briefly reviewed outside lab results I had brought with me, and I was later billed for a separate office visit associated with that discussion. I was not informed during the appointment that this could result in an additional charge. After reviewing my visit documentation, I also felt portions of the note did not fully reflect my understanding of the visit, particularly regarding the extent of evaluation performed beyond the wellness exam. After raising concerns and providing supporting documentation, the office acknowledged overlap between the preventive visit and additional billing and indicated the matter would be reviewed. However, I did not receive a final follow-up or resolution regarding the coding review or reimbursement request. I would encourage the practice to improve communication around preventive visit billing and provide more consistent follow-up during billing disputes.

I see him often to manage my medication and thyroid levels and every time he is very patient and answers all my questions. Often times with doctors I feel like I'm being rushed or my concerns are being brushed off but he seems to really care. His front desk staff is superb as well, the previous front desk was sort of rude when I called for an appointment but now, Diana the receptionist is always warm and remembers me by name and is very thorough with following up and trying to work with my schedule. Recently I needed a pre authorization for my medication which is a controlled substance and again his staff Diana the receptionist and the medical assistant, Maria were able to get it approved within 1 day of the request! ** I was a medical receptionist for 9 years and the service I receive here from start to finish is consistent and superb. She's one of the most professional, personable physicians I've ever met. Even though I see Dr Crane Lee just 1-2x per year, I always feel like she remembers details of my health, family, and so on.

When my sister had a mini stroke that left her unable to read, Crane-Lee said two things that may have killed my sister and could have killed any number of other people as well. First she correctly guessed that my sister had experienced a stroke, and she told my sister that she could drive if she felt like it. The most likely thing after a person has a stroke is a second stroke. The number one rule is to get to the hospital immediately. Secondly, she said that my sister could go to the ER, but she might have to wait all night, that she could line up various appointments instead. That is utterly ridiculous. When a stroke patient is taken to the INOVA Fairfax ER, s/he's going to be in a bed the minute after s/he signs in. There are numerous hospital-wide announcements every time a potential stroke victim is headed for the hospital. I was there for two months last year and I heard those announcements all the time. They take things very seriously in that ER. I was in a bed moments after I signed in. So was a friend with a broken arm. In fact, my sister did have a second stroke, after which she did go to the hospital, but it was apparently too late. I would assign a Minus Ten if I could.
