I can't speak for every patient as im sure its case by case, but since i don't have any dental insurance, they worked with me so that i could afford the work i desperately needed. I genuinely felt they cared about my health before making a buck. Dr. Cai personally called me himself 4 days after having 2 teeth extracted to check on me and make sure everything was healing as planned. His staff(especially Lisa i think her name is) was also very warm and helpful. I called the office multiple times before and after my procedure to ask questions and she was a delight every time. The dentist, Dr. Kourosh Bazarjani, was rude, squeezed my face while performing a root canal, pulled on my hair and pinched my lips and cheeks with his instruments, and was incredibly condescending and dismissive to me. He outwardly showed frustration while working on my mouth, and even let out several loud sighs to let me know that he was having a tough time. Before the procedure, he asked me to raise my hand if I had pain. When I raised my hand several times, he dismissed me and pressed the drill into my tooth even harder. The office manager "had a talk with him", and he came back even more rude and aggressive. I will be reporting this doctor and the practice to the Virginia Dental Board.
