Carl is thorough and skilled, and he's also a dog lover, which says a lot about a person, in my humble opinion.

They have a cute little built in house with books and little toys for small kids and they have games for the older kids too, my son loves the racing game they have! Their TV is always playing some type Disney movie and their decor resembles somewhat of a Forrest, super cute and appealing for kids. The front desk is very attentive and polite. They're really good at sending reminders for appointments and assisting with setting up appointments. Their wait times are very minimal. I've never gone there and waited longer than 5 minutes to be called. As for the staff in the back, they're angels. Their dental assistants are so patient and gentle. My son isn't very fond of the dentist and it takes a little longer than usual for a simple cleaning....usually if the assistant is having issues with the cleaning the dentist steps in and helps. They're literal angels and definitely know how to deal with children. Recently we went in for a quick cleaning and of course he was giving some push back. Our dentist was amazing! She was able to calm him down and gain his trust. I am very pleased with their services and bed side manners. Even though I've moved from the Burke area I will continue to make the drive here. I've been recommending this location to friends I have in the area. If you prefer fluoride or no fluoride to be used for the cleaning they are very respectful with your choices and will always tailor to the needs of your child. Amazing dental place for kids! 10/10 recommend!

They have private rooms if your kids have sensory issues, and they have overhead TV screens playing animated kids movies that they can turn on/off depending on your child's needs/preferences. We are a family who refuses fluoride treatment for health reasons, and she understands and respects our decision, never trying to persuade or demean our decision (as other dentists have over the years). They even have an orthodontist in the same office for if/when your kids need braces later on in life. If your kid experiences a dental trauma, or requires sedation for major anxiety issues, she works with a trusted area anesthesiologist and shuts the office down once per month for dedicated sedation and surgical cases. (Which we have used 5x over the last 10 years, and highly recommend.) The waiting room has a safari theme with jungle animal decals, stuffed plush, etc. There's a smaller "kids tech room" that has video games and mounted iPads too! For adults, a Keurig machine for a much needed caffeine boost. They work with most dental insurance plans, and the front desk staff are very friendly. They even provide a letter of medical necessity if you need it to appeal for anesthesia coverage from your plan. Highly recommend Dr. Neda Kalantar for any type of kid, including those with special needs such as autism, ADHD, anxiety and sensory issues.

I can't tell you how many times they have messed up my billing or given me incorrect treatment information. You would think an office dealing with children would be on top of things, but they are far from it. I cannot trust that I am being charged correctly. Just today, I was given 3 different bills and ended up paying the highest one. So many mistakes, so many errors. Enough is enough.

What I will say is the woman at the front desk with the glasses has no social skills and one of their assistants has no business working with children . She literally is very awkward and aggressive and doesn't know how to interact with them. I had to give this office a call Monday evening after hours due to my daughter complaining of pain in the back of her mouth. When I looked inside her mouth I saw her gum tissue swollen and covering her new tooth (tooth number 30) . I had to leave a message. One of their doctors on call had called in a prescription for antibiotics. The really disappointing part is the fact that they did not bother to call us in the following days to check on my daughter and to schedule an appointment for her to be seen. No one called us to follow up. It seems a bit strange to me that a dentist called in antibiotics straight away but didn't attempt to check in on the patient or schedule a follow up. Wednesday morning I called and scheduled her for an exam to be seen that day at 2:30. We were taken back by one of their assistants. She had a horrible interaction with my daughter. Didn't say one word to her. She talked to me directly and stated she needed to take X-rays. She was really aggressive when trying to take the PA of tooth number 30 . At one point I had to ask her to stop because she was hurting my daughter. When we get back to the room the doctor explains my daughter is being referred to an oral surgeon to have the painful gum tissue removed. As soon as we got into the car I called the office they referred us to. I was told the doctor has been retired and the other doctors did NOT see children. I took my daughter back into the office and explained this to the woman with the glasses at the front desk. She disappeared for a moment and returned to tell me "well just take her to see one of the other doctors there." I then asked her if she heard what I said when I mentioned the other doctors did not see children. She disappeared and came back again with another referral and these were her exact words " try this place. If these doctors don't see children then you need to call your insurance and figure it out for yourself. " I was in shock . Can you imagine a dental office that doesn't stay up to date with their referrals and could care less about the outcome? We are talking about my child here. I definitely understand at this point that they do not go the extra mile and have very limited care for their patients. We will not be back to this office . I am glad someone else left a review of doctor Han so that we can see this is a pattern. When it comes to your kids , you can't afford to have a doctor care a small amount.

Since this was our first time here (and our daughters first ever dental appointment) I was expecting a bit more (after reading all the reviews) and was surprised the tech never introduced herself or really engaged with our daughter. She was however, incredibly patient as our daughrrr decided toe or three different times she wanted to sit in the chair and lay back to attempt to watch to. In the end she lost interest and by the time Doctor Dave came in with his "silly glasses" Our daughter opted to sit in my lap. Dr. Dave did a quick explanation of how we were going to conduct the "cleaning" he had me lower my mask to show how he would count teeth. He sang the abcs as he checked my daughters teeth, remain engaged/attentive and answered questions. He even managed to floss her teeth (not even sure how he pulled that one off; maybe he's a magician!) Overall, we had a positive experience and will continue to use this elective for our dental needs; but I think it may be geared towards kids maybe 4+; but we gotta start somewhere. Lastly, the treasure we received was a Mickey toothbrush, floss, toy car, and bubbles (a huge hit). I had picked some stickers (since this is what our daughter loves) and hopefully made this a positive experience for her so she continues to enjoy her time at the dentist.

My kids love the trinkets they get from the vending machine. They usually give out tokens to the kids after each appointment to use on the vending machine. It was a warm and thoughtful gesture for the kids. Things went backwards after our appointment yesterday. My son is shy so I usually ask the receptionist for a token on his behalf. Sadly the receptionist refused to give us one. In a shameful way she responded while my son stood next to me: "We don't give tokens to kids who have an orthodontist appointment...We only give them to the kids who get their cleaning done." I had no words as it took a while for me to process what I heard. We've had appointments of all kinds and never experienced this before (one time my daughter got a token simply waiting for her brother in the lobby). I'm not the confrontational type so needless to say, we left the office with our heads down, not having the same warm and fuzzy feeling as before. Just want to be clear, this is not about the prize/rewards (we can get these from Amazon for dirt cheap). It's about how the receptionist crushed the principle this clinic upholds. If this the policy she is forced to enforce then the clinic is better of discontinuing the whole "reward system" program, instead discriminative of who gets it vs not.
