I've gotten 2 of my friends and my mother hooked with this spa. If you come a little bit before your therapist is ready for you they offer you red or white wine and water. They keep the establishment quiet in order for the customer to enjoy their massage or facial at peace. Groupon usually has a good deal - massage for $29, but on the spa's website they have monthly specials for massages and facials. For example, at this moment they're offering 1 massage for $30 or 3 massages for $85, which is amazing. At this moment my favorite therapist is Tamara; she's good at her job and very nice. The reason I didn't give it a 5 is because they're MAJOR DOWNFALL is that they take a long time to answer your phone call. It rings, rings, and rings which leads to the voicemail and then they usually respond to your voicemail the next day. Also, the receptionist 75% of the time she'll be nice, but I've witnessed her have passive aggressive confrontation with the customers. Fortunately, I've only experienced her passive aggressive attitude once and hope never again because I really enjoy coming here.

I did a search on Yelp and saw the rave reviews for Bodies Kneaded and the playful marketing they had (very pro Miss Piggy and drag queens, tbh) and decided to reach out. They had a text number on their website so I sent a message from the airport waiting for my flight to start boarding and by the time I was in my seat I had booked 2.5 hours the next day for a massage and facial. Now, this is not a traditional spa experience. It's relaxing and artsy and not the minimalist aesthetic you find in a lot of places. But I loved that about it. I'm here for the treatments first and foremost and those were amazing. Stewart is great! The massage? One of the best I've ever had. Truly. Because of the family stuff I've been going through my back was a field of stress knots and he worked them all out. I mentioned needing a little extra work in spots and he complied and also eased up the pressure perfectly when I had a few more tender areas. I had the deluxe massage which also included gentle cupping (effecting but also didn't leave any marks) and hot stones. It was great! My winter Michigan skin was also a dry mess. Before this I had been so embarrassed to even put on any makeup because it just immediately started flaking. He used an oxygen facial tool which did a great job of exfoliating all those extremely dry spots, including one really red spot I had on my cheek for a few weeks. When I left my sensitive skin was definitely a little on the ruddy side but trust the process! Within 48 hours it was all gone and my skin tone was even and glowing. When I got back to Michigan I had a few dry spots return but he set me up with success and after a few days of using some of the recommended oils things mellowed out. I feel so much more confident about my skin now! Also, Stewart is a gem. So kind and was sending me great recommendations for the neighborhood even before I even stepped foot in Florida! He was so kind and attentive during the session and was open to chatting a bit but also gave me the space to relax and zone out a bit which I appreciated. The two treatments together were significantly less than I would have paid at my hotel spa as well. Very reasonably priced for Miami Beach for sure! Would absolutely return for another appointment if I'm in the area. Thanks, Stewart!!

I'm a manager myself, and deal with over 700-800 people a day so I fully understand everyone has off days. But customer service should always still feel welcoming and professional, Especially while paying premium prices 1st, the booking of the massage was quick easy and efficient. So credits there 2nd, the massage itself, I would say was bad/Below average. Not what I wanted in terms of therapeutic, or deep tissue. I understand deep tissue massages involves firm pressure, but they should not feel painful or leave someone feeling injured afterward. She actually hurt my lower left back, and left a small bruise on my bone. I left feeling exactly the same as I came in except feeling sore in a bad way. For almost 90 dollars before tip, don't waste your time coming here. I also found out afterward they offer a 45-minute option, which was never mentioned on the phone. I was only told 30 minutes or 1 hour. Customers should be given all available options upfront instead of partial information. And 3rd, she got visibly upset that the Tip wasn't "big enough" and told me "sir, the minimum has to be 20 percent", then she grabs the sign where the prices are, turns it around where there's words on the back, and as im reading the first sentence or two she quickly turns the sign back around so I couldn't read it at all. Seems to me like she forgot about the customer experience, and there was a reason I put the tip as I did. But because I felt like she really needed the money I changed it , and gave her 20 percent or at least close to it. A few extra dollars won't hurt me , but it's more so the principles. Coming from someone who is a manager, and received a bad service that ends up costing well over $100 total, these are what you need to focus on as a business. If these can't be fixed, it's time to start letting people go. -Customer experience -service quality -Communication -Professionalism All need major improvement. I Will not be coming back here again.
