Start time: 4:00 PM Upon arriving, I told the front lady that I had an appointment for 3 PM. I came about 3 minutes earlier to assure I could find a color quickly and get attended on time. There was only TWO ladies working which shows this place is extremely understaffed. It was really awkward because the two ladies started looking at each other and complaining that they had other customers coming in an hour and they weren't even done with the ones they were working with. The front lady just looked at them and told them that one of them had to take me. They were having this conversation right in front of me and it was awkward. At the end, the front lady was insinuating that it would be a wait time. So I asked her if she could call me back when one of them were ready. I walked around the shopping center, went for a drive, and about 45 minutes had passed and they finally called me. I went back at 3:45 and the lady from the front wasn't even there. No one greeted me and I waited for about 5 minutes (3:50) until someone came. She told me that I could have a seat. She stayed talking to her coworkers as I sat there trying to get myself situated. She finally looked my way and asked what color I wanted. I showed her which one and she quickly started cleaning my nails. She realized she didn't have any of the tools and had to get up and get them from the back. I'm the type of person that likes their nails to be cleaned well. Meaning, I like to have all the dead skin to be removed completely. As she started, she was very hesitant as if she was afraid to touch me. She cleaned them, and started on my nails. I came in for a GEL mani and Regular pedi. She started painting my nails, as she was finishing another coworker sat beside her and started talking to her. The coworker then realized that she was using the WRONG nail polish and was using a regular one instead of the gel one. She refused to start over and said it was okay and she would too the nails with the gel coat instead. Anyway, that took about an hour to do just nails. She would continuously stop, talking and complain to her other coworkers and would leave me there, waiting. I finished my nails at 4:40. I won't lie, the nails came out cute but let's see how long they last. Now to my feet, I was waiting there confused and lost because she didn't tell me anything. I followed her to the chair and she kept talking to her coworkers. She finally told me to have a seat and that she had to wait to fill the bucket with water for my feet because someone was using the bathroom. I waited for another five minutes and everyone working kept complaining super loud about their jobs, and talking about their plans for the next day, etc. She finally got the water and started getting me situated to take the nail polish off of my nails. ( I had red REGULAR nail polish on my feet) she started taking it off and was struggling with the first nail. She asked if I had gel on them and I had said no. She then started to complain that today has been bad day with customers because first it was taking off acrylics in the morning and now struggling to take off this nail polish. It took her a good 15 minutes to take the nail polish, in between talking, stopping, and more talking. Mind me, I'm just here, sitting. She finally got them off and as I dipped my feet in the water it was COLD, wasn't even hot or warm. I don't even think it was warm to begin with. It's 5:00 and she JUST finished cleaning one foot. AGAIN, while complaining about their jobs, and talking about everything and anything possible. Again, she was very hesitant and barely cleaned anything. She's started the next foot and it's the same thing all over again. It's 5:20 and she just started painting them. All I can say is NEVER AGAIN. I am highly dissatisfied and disappointed. All I can say is that I've never been to a place this unprofessional. I've never met ladies before who are so OPEN about their hatred for this job and working with customers. All they did was talk and complain, loudly with no shame. She even complained right in front of my face when she was taking off the nail polish off of my feet and I felt really uncomfortable. I'm SHOCKED I withheld so much and didn't walk away midway. I'm just wondering how long my nails will truly last (they usually last three weeks with gel) but since she messed up, who knows. As soon as she finished my feet, she didn't say much else just asked me if I liked how they came out and that's she liked the color a lot.
