I bought some treatment sessions through Groupon and even though their pricing is great, the overall experience is unprofessional. I have been going there weekly for a little over a month now (my coupon calls for 10 sessions) and all the original employees have quit. They are also not shy to tell you all about their reason for quitting and the problematic owner of this spa chain. Very unprofessional. I receive the cavitation treatment and even thought the actual procedure is fine (which is why I will go until my treatment is finished), the hygiene is below all standards. The massage table and pillow were only covered with a towel, no sanitary paper and the pillow had make-up stains from the previous, who knows how many, clients! Since I go with a friend, I know for a fact that the towels themselves were not exchanged between clients YUCK. It doesn't stop there! The machines themselves come into contact with a clients skin through the transmission gel, and I saw gel still stuck on there from whomever was treated before me. After my session was over I watched as the technician simply wiped them down with a used towel she had picked up off the floor, no sanitizer! DOUBLE YUCK. But it still doesn't stop there! When my treatment was done, the technician picked up another used towel from the pile on the floor and wiped my legs with it. EWW...I wonder how many people were treated before me and wiped down with the same towel!! This place needs a health inspection ASAP! The technician does not leave the room for you to get undressed and dressed again, and you are not covered up for privacy, which should be standard procedures. Oh and twice already another employee simply walked in and started chatting with the technician who was working on me. I was never asked for permission or covered up for privacy. The reception area is extremely noisy so relaxation is not possible at this SPA. read more

This was my first experience going to a spa. The receptionist was warm and welcoming. The message was great as well. I was a little nervous when the receptionist told me that she only had male masseur. I did it and to my supervise it was great. He did exactly as I wanted as far as getting the spots that I had more stress in. The setting in the room was peaceful and clean. I came out of the place relaxed and stress free. I would definitely try them again. read more

I purchased an advertised Groupon offer for discounted services at the Boca location. Over a week's time, I left 2 voice mails and tried scheduling an appointment through their on-line scheduling system (Boca location), and never received a response or confirmation from anyone. I then called another location in the Miami area to try and at least speak with someone, and spoke "Jennifer" who scheduled an appointment with me for today, 6/27/12 at 10:00 am at their Boca location. When I arrived for my appointment at 9:55 am, the door was locked, lights were off, and the business was clearly not open. When I called the number on my Groupon certificate, the woman that answered didn't seem to know about my scheduled appointment at first, and when she realized, she said I would have to wait because she was still on the turnpike, as she was trying to cover both Homestead and Boca locations. She was very rude, even though I was the one sitting there waiting in the heat for someone to show up for my appointment! I asked to speak with her supervisor, and she said she was the Regional Manager, and that I could either wait for her or reschedule. No apology, no regard for my time and inconvenience, no offer to make it up to me in any way. I explained that the service was unacceptable and that I would be requesting a refund for my purchase. Stay away if you expect to get a call back, schedule an appointment easily, or expect someone to show up. read more

I bought a coupon to this place and have been trying to get a hold of them to redeem it for a week now. When I call they put me on eternal hold then conveniently hang up on me. Now I'm concerned if they are even going to honor my living social voucher! I don't think i will use these guys again. read more

Where do I begin. Just to assure you this is a true testament of my visits there, this is the first review I write ever because this place absolutely needs to be put out of business. They have lost my payments of $150 for cavitation treatments and they lost my file twice. The massage I got from groupon the first time the lady would not shut up. When I went back for the cavitation treatments it was DRAMA. The receptionist dropped all my scheduled appointments all five of them. I had all my appointments scheduled around my treatments and they screwed up my schedule and I wasted gas going there twice because they would not give me my treatments because they lost my file and payments and they would not issue a refund. I was leaving yet another bad treatment and The treatment was suppose to be an hour and she only treated for 30 minutes. I rather lose my money then go back there. That place is dirty and EXTREMELY unprofessional. I will actually go on every review I can to make sure people stay away.I got an upper respiratory infection from the massage because it was cold and very unhygienic, so I was sick fir two weeks and I am certain it was from there. They are extremely un accommodating. I called the headquarters to find out why they lost my files and payments and they were just as rude. As a person who has worked in Spas on the beach and an avid spa go-er, don't waste your time, but most importantly your money. read more

Trim Slim Spa is a rip off. The Boca location and Miami (Kendall) are owned by the same people I was told. I got a Groupon for 10 massages and half the time I couldn't book them because no answered the phone.. When I finished my 10 I was urged to book another 10 for $250.00 Much to my sorrow I did. Called to make an appointmenbt and could not reach them. called Miami/Kendall location and was told that office is out of business but they would service me in Kendall, 60 mile trip for a massage and they have refused to refund my money!! Stay away and don't learn the hard way as I did. read more

I bought a Groupon online under heading: "Foot and Tea Bar Spa" reflexology or massage was their offering for a great price. I payed $19 for a 45 foot reflexology. They have 3-4 locations so decided to go to west kendall. The actual store is called "Slim Trim Spa". I had googled them on their website: footandtea.com and didnt think this was accurate but went in. I was indeed in right place, small area but the front girl was friendly, although she spoke loud at times and I could hear her talking at times through my session. I went into a massage room and layed down for a 45 min reflexology of my feet. It was great and the I felt the tech knee what she was doing. However, I was a little dissappointed that it was not what they claimed in their website. They didn't soak my feet in a bath of tea leafs, instead I got a semi-warm tea of my choice to drink while I waited. Overall it was "OK", cheap, and althought I enjoyed the massage felt a little cheated. They offer other services at excellent prices but feel they are so new that they kept saying" yeah we do that, but we dont have everything here to that specific service yet..." They tech was very nice and sweet, was professional, but agree with above statements that the tables had a roll of small paper that covered them....and when I was putting my shoes the tech did not wipe the table down, just pulled paper over it. I was clothed during procedure because they worked on my feet, so it was no biggie to me but thought if this was same thing they do if you are naked after a massage ?? humm. I wouldn't go back. read more
